  1. Thank you @Squid and @trurl for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated, the thing is I don't have any ports open. I did set up an Argo tunnel to CloudFlare mainly because I'm not a security expert and I knew I wasn't gonna be, opening up ports was a deal breaker for me for a while...unless another option became available which it did (argo tunnel, nginx proxy and CF suited well via guided by either IBRACORP or SpaceInvaderone's videos and the benefit was no open ports). So I'm just confused on how an ssh log in attempt was made outside my network when there isn't even a port open to attempt it. So any ideas on how an attempt to ssh in could even be made, considering the set up? Thank you, I know you guys are the wizards who may be able to give hints.
  2. @squid ! thank you for helping my brother with getting fail2ban on CA btw. but sorry there is what?
  3. Hi, in Jan I got an Unraid message saying "possible hack attempt, 30 invalid log in attempts" I never found any log in attempts in the logs, however on cloudflare I have been getting many queries for my-domain/wp-whatever.php from bots trying to scrap I guess. What is causing concern for me is why would it say 30 invalid log in attempts when there is no such record and could this be just the bots? I doubt it... there is just no logs of anyone but myself trying to log in. Any ideas on why? Could they just be trying to log into a docker Authelia instead? my emby subdomain is the first sub I put behind authelia, and that is the sub domain these bots are hitting. Thank you for any input.
  4. @062bel313 Just making sure you know that when you uploading via Cloudflare you will be limited to 100MB, however if you upload locally you can upload as much as you like. So rather than paying cloudflare I just gotten used to doing any major uploads at home on my local network bypassing the CF protected domain. I hope you get fail2ban to work but that is my 2 cents on uploading via cloudflare. Also if you dont mind me asking why did you set bantime to "-1" does that set it for forever, dont ban at all, or is it some testing puspose?
  5. I'm trying this now and I'll let you know. You do mean set VSync on in Nvidia control panel on Windows 10 and then shut down VM & shutdown Unraid? seems odd but I'll try anything at this point.
  6. @Wannabelinuxuser I've search and came cross your post, just generally on Davinci resolve and Unraid in general. I'd love to expand on this conversation, but haven't even started to explore. I just use shares for editing in DR in general but this is next level. I'm a lone editor so I dont need to do what you describe but it be a fun top to explore.
  7. Make sure you disignate the version with this instead docker run -it --rm -v /mnt/user/appdata/cloudflared:/home/nonroot/.cloudflared/ cloudflare/cloudflared:2021.6.0 tunnel login then you'll get an ID
  8. Hi All, I'm trying to create an Argo tunnel following IBRACORP tutorial https://ibracorp.io/cloudflare-how-to-set-up-cloudflare-argo-tunnel-free-on-unraid/, however after I create a tunnel it has no ID and when I check the .json file it does have the secret inside, but the json file doesn't even have a name. just .json. every-time I do it again it prints "created a tunnel with id....." nothing displayed. the tunnel id is critical so I do not know how to move forward since everything else is dependent on that ID. If anyone else can recreate this that would be most helpful, or are you getting the same result? thank you.
  9. @yogy thanks again, I'm just gonna research where exactly to put that, still very rusty on this stuff, been doing all video editing for way too long, and most of this just got completely away form me, apparently.
  10. @jonathanm I'm sorry man, I wasn't seeing that as a solution for some reason. Now I just have to figure out where to put that in the reverse proxy, i'm using NPM so I'm just not positive where to add that line. still trying to remember a whole bunch of stuff. apologize for the ignorance.
  11. hi all, Does anyone know how to remove the /admin page so it isn't accessible at all? I commented out the # admin token from config.json file and restarted the server completely but it's still there. Thank you for any hints. I would imagine that after you created your own account you'd want to remove this admin page...but then re-enable it if of course you need to do something else.
  12. @yogy thank you soo much for the help here. I actually found this gem of a video and yeah I did see geeked video as well, but it was def IBRACORP that did it for me with an Edge cert method, amazing. again thank you so much for the support, it all started making sense after weeks of hammering away, but of course still so much to watch out for and to learn.
  13. I have followed the instructions of space invader to no end trying to combine several aged videos together (swag and bitwarden have now changed), with new containers (let's encrypt changed to swag) and still I can't get swag, vaultwarden, and cloudflare to work together. I have some questions that might be easy to answer but extremely helpful to me If you would. I purchased a domain, so i'm going the domain route here. @SpaceInvaderOne 1. with the new vaultwarden (rather than bitwarden rs), is spaceinvaders tutorial and custom config file for letsencrypt still relevant, and should you use his config with custom networks or go with Swag's config files? 2. if my vaultwarden docker is on custom network 176.17.0.2:80 (proxynet) ---> 192.168.50.191:8086 do I simply open port 8086 and reverse proxy does the rest? how does my local network talk to proxynet? I'm thinking that is the importance of having the config file correct. Thank you to anyone who can shed light on these 2 questions so far...everything I do lands me at my unraid homepage from the domain I purchased and I have no idea why the reverse proxies do not kick in at this point. on cloudflare my domain points to my ip using CF_DDNS. i set up a cname for bitwarden.mydomain via @SpaceInvaderOne his custom config states "# If you are not using the custom docker network for this container then change the line "server bitwardenrs:80;" to "server [YOUR_SERVER_IP]:8086;" Also remove line 7" 7 #resolver 127.0.0.11 valid=30s; using Swag the logs will require me to comment out line 7 as it complains of a duplicate. seems the resolver is constantly recreating it self if you remove it/rename when you restart. however I am using a custom network, and so i'm in a bit of a paradox.
  14. @SimonF Thank you, off topic - I had many issues coming back online with Unraid. I was very overwhelmed for the past 2/3 weeks trying to get this all back online again. You all have made amazing improvements since I last used it and I was just frustrated honestly. However, C-states was really messing me up in my bios settings. I couldn't believe that Unraid would just go offline until I realized that some Bios low power setting (or c-states apparently ) was causing me to go insane. I apologize for my ignorant frustrations, I have a world to understand. Once you familiarize yourself with your set up along with SpaceInvader one's absolutely critical tutorials it starts to make more sense. Unraid is amazing and its actually helping me better understand more advanced computing and I can't thank you all enough for that.
  15. I feel like we are all just just a bunch of trouble shooters who paid for the pleasure. oh, I gotta go restart again...
