  1. 2nd round of preclear failed, should I return this HDD?

    Thanks for your suggestions. I still can return it for free in the next 48 hours. Currently preclearing the drive to have some final test on it. The extended SMART test did failed at the first round. Not sure if it indicates anything.

    Hi JorgeB, please see the attached SMART report. also did a memtest as recommended elsewhere, no issue found. ST18000NM000J-2TV103_ZR55PXC0-20220808-1457.txt

    EXOS X18 18T damaged on the edge out of the box. (shipped from the USA to Australia) run 2 rounds of preclear, - 1st passed - 2nd round failed at post read. Should I give it a few more rounds of preclear or should I just return it... UNRAID-preclear.disk-20220805-2100.zip
