  1. same issue here.. seems like a dns issue with plex.tv added 99.80.18.66 plex.tv to /etc/hosts in the docker container
  2. everything was fine. turned out to be unraid not linking the full 1TB mem. have just enabled the first slot on each CPU will diagnose in the future. Thanks your your help!
  3. Thanks for the reply Vr2Io but i just worked it out.. kinda i disabled 14 of the 16 dim slots via bios and its now freaking fast! Its a beast of a server brand new Dell R750, dual 6330, 1Tb memory, 10 x 1.92tb NVME, 2 x 9400-16e talking to 12 x 16tb, 8 x 10tb can work with 128gb mem for the moment, just been without for 2 weeks so keen to get everything set back up! once online ill then start playing with the memory config as i think its a server issue.. while dell shipped the server with all memory populated in the first 8 dimms and dell can "optimised" thats not the actual channel config.. ill change the memory into the channel groups when i get back home in a couple of weeks.. idrac has been so handy while building haha
  4. Hi All, still trying to diagnose my speed issues with a Dell R750 dual Gold CPU 1Tb memory NVME, etc tested alot and my final test i think i have gotten to is a fresh reboot and not start the array. I have then done a dd test to the ramdisk and i would have expected better speeds? Writing to the 18 disk array i get about 10-15MB and reading i get 20-30MB Installed windows server 2022 as a test and speeds are fine can max out the 10GB nics...
  5. parity runs normal, but everything is so slow even the gui. Dockers are painfully slow. Only started after a reboot which took 20-30 mins to mount the array and then instantly received the btrfs cache disk error. have nothing installed on the cache and just navigating unraid is slow.
  6. mattaverse-diagnostics-20221028-2024.zip fresh reboot and mount then logs collected
  7. just removed all plugins, ill reboot and then do a fresh grab and upload.
  8. HI Team, Been a long time user of unraid and currently on my 4th generation Dell R750 dual Gold 6330 1TB ram 10 x 1.92Tb SSD on the internal raid marked as non raid disks(using as cache 4 drives as cache, other 6 not mapped currently) 2 x 9400 HBA connected to 12 x 16Tb, 5 x 10Tb, 1 x 8Tb dual 16Tb parity 1 x dell M2 PCI-e 480Gb in mirror for downloads pool The issue im now randomly having and not sure why is it takes almost 20 mins to start the array. all drives are encrypted ct 27 06:31:56 HOSTNAME*** emhttpd: shcmd (203): udevadm settle Oct 27 06:31:56 HOSTNAME*** emhttpd: Opening encrypted volumes... 9. I have recently moved over to unraid from 2 x 5 Bay synology's and 1 with an additional 5 bay expansion over the last 2 months. I upgraded my old PC to 3950X so had spare hardware and thought why not go back to DIY nas( moved to synology 6 years ago after running a DIY nas for many years) I have just had my first drive failed and it worked flawlessly! I will now be investing in a 2nd parity drive as its proved itself! So just want to say a big thank you for an amazing product! And the community is awesome and has helped me troubleshoot a few options easily!
  10. was searching community i guess i should have looked at the wiki as that explains it perfectly! I am used to enterprise raid and work daily on EMC SAN arrays which is very different. thank you both for the quick reply.
  11. I was thinking the same thing. I have 2 x 10 and 2 x 8. 1 of my 10tb is a parity drive(have another one ready for double parity) But the total size doesnt add up to me. Its giving me 26Tb(~23tb useable) atm but i only have a 10tb parity space. Am i missing something? or something i have not selected? i would have thought with the disk config i have would be around an 18tb array. Loving unraid btw.. have moved off 2 Synologies to my old gaming computer (x99). Shits all over DSM
