What is the difference? between the "-gt" version vs:
https://fedorapeople.org/groups/virt/virtio-win/direct-downloads/archive-virtio/?C=M;O=D
I don't know what the difference is with the "-gt" version. The iso file "virtio-win-0.1.217.iso" with the latest version contains both files "virtio-win-gt-x64.msi and "virtio-win-gt-x86.msi".
And when you install the tools you get an error e.g. Error 0x80070643. With the version "virtio-win-0.1.215-2.iso" it works
They have already found the problem in this version:

There is a problem with the driver for the VMs. The installation of the virtual drivers fails with error 0x800673. More information can be found here:
virtio-win-gt-x64.msi 0.1.217-1 fails with rollback if components missing devices are selected

When will the Unraid 6.10 release be ready?

As a user of Unraid I am very scared about the current trends.
Unraid as a base it is a very good server operating system but what makes it special are the community applications.I would be very sad if this breaks apart because of maybe wrong or misunderstandable communication.
I hope that everyone will get together again.
For us users you would make us all a pleasure.I have 33 docker containers and 8 VM running on my system and I hope that my system will continue to be as usable as before. I have many containers from linuxserver.io.
I am grateful for the support from limetech & the whole community and hope it will be continued.
sorry for my english i hope you could understand me.

Hi, what do I have to consider if I want to downgrade from Unraid 6.9-beta30 to Unraid 6.8.3 ?
I have upgraded from Unraid 6.8.3 -> to Unraid 6.9-beta29, then to Unraid 6.9-beta30.
I can probably only go back to Unraid 6.9-beta29 via software. What do I have to do to get Unraid 6.8.3 back and keep the system working.
Currently I'm doing a backup of Docker / VM and my shares. Then I move the directories appdata / domains / system from cache to array and now ?

We reverted libvirt back to v6.5.0 for next release so that should fix the issue.
Is the date for the next release known yet.

Hi guys,
after updating from Unraid 6.8.3 to 6.9-beta29 I have problems with my VMs.My VMs do not use a virtual disk as file, they use a physical disk. When I try to start a VM after upgrading from Unraid I get the following error:

If i change this to vnc i get the same error.
The second error is that when i change vnc password and vnc keyboard (e.g. German) the changes are not saved.

How can i downgrade from Beta 6.9 - 25 to the stable version 6.8.3?
[7.0.0-beta.2] VM storage location only Pools / Array - Unassigned disks are no longer available as a storage location.

If I had mounted a drive under Unassigned Devices I could select this drive as location for VMs.
I think this may not be due to the “Unassigned Devices” plugin. A lot has changed in the VM Template / GUI area with Unraid 7.
