  1. I have attached the diagnostics zip file. Thanks for the reply and the help tower-diagnostics-20200213-1652.zip
  2. the other day the power went out in my area and i noticed when i was checking on the server that a few of the disc are showing up as "missing", my parity disc is also showing as "no device". I have had this same setup since 2011 and never had any issues like this and not sure where to go. i swapped out some Sata cables as well as pull the discs and put them back in. I'm really not sure where to go from here. since so many disc are showing as missing i am unable to start the array. Also, I have been running 6.8.2 successfully for a while now without any issues until losing power. Any help would be greatly appreciated. tower-syslog-20200210-0121.zip
  3. it was a corrupt flash drive and that fixed it, thanks for the help.
  4. I need to update my shares to export with AFP. When I go to the share settings I click on "Yes" in the export window under AFP Security Settings and hit apply. It acts like it is updating the information, but when it is done it just goes back to "no." the disks are set up to export AFT, but the share setting will not let me change it. I am running version 5.0.5 and I can’t change it with any of my 3 computers. Also, this network is not connected to the internet, but that hasn't given me any problems before. Any ideas or support is greatly appreciated.
  5. Thanks for the help, it worked. I couldn't understand why it not having a name would remove it from my network map on my router. That was a weird one for me. I fought with it for a while before posting to no avail. Thank you for your help.
  6. I am fairly new to Unraid and had a friend help me set it up about 1 year ago. Anyway tonight I was going through setting up some shares and just trying to do some cleanup. Long story short, I deleted the server name and didn't put anything back in, when I restarted the server I wasn't able to connect to it anymore. I could put the IP address in and still nothing. So I went to my router to see if it showed up on the network and it isn't there either. If anybody knows if the server not having a name is the problem, or if it is something else, I would appreciate all help. Also if it does need a name, how can I go rename it if I cannot connect to it. Thanks.
  7. I have used unraid for about 6 months now and loved it. Unfortunately I never could get it to automatically show up on my network. I had to go to "connect to server" and connect to it each time I turned on my computer. I had to replace my router the other day and now I cannot find my server on there at all. I have an iMac, MacBook Pro, and my router is an Airport Extreme. The iMac and Unraid tower are connected to the router via LAN. I don't know if I ever set it up properly, as I would like it to show up in finder automatically, but now I just really want to be able to connect to it at all, even if I have to go "connect to server" every time. I am running OSX Lion on both computers. Any help to set it up correctly or point me in the right direction would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.
