  1. Windows machines can do much more without any tweaking. Get now 450 mbyte/sec from ramdisc to nas (not unraid any more) From raid-5 volume in win 7 pc around 250 Mbyte/ With unraid and cache drive i had somtimes speed of over 100 Mbyte/sec but with many drops to 40 MByte or even lower. So do not beleieVe that easy it is your pc..
  2. last key also sold for 50 euro (with 32 GB transcend usb stick)
  3. Still no answer, he must be working very hard on the 64 bit version of unraid, so no time to answer me.
  4. Suspect these will sell fast. Small typo though i dont think you mean 743 Euro each Indeed, type error with my ipad.. Changed to 230 Euro..
  5. I did sell 2 of the keys to persons local to me. license + usb key of 16 gb of about 16 euro for 50 euro License + usb key of 32 gb of about 28 euro for 60 euro Leaves me 1 license and a 32 gb usb key. Asume i got 60 euro as well i get back 170 euro from the investment of 137+16+28+28=209 euro I will email Tom once more if the license with keys can be transfered to the new owners but the last answer wascnot positive.
  6. Ok price lowered to 137 euro than. Get the keys for free. Still not includes shipping.
  7. I never intende to sell my licenses without the usb keys. The person who responded does not want them ( perhaps price related) If this kind of a sale is not possible, so be it. Than i will need to sell them with the keys and lower my price i guess. A clear answer would be nice, and now it are interpretations form other users. English is not my native language so perhaps i misunderstood things.
  8. I bought it as an extention for the 2 pack for $30, same condition as the cheaper 2nd key for a 2 pack.
  9. Well, asking something and getting it is not the same i think. Someone sent me a message, so they are reserved.
  10. I am selling my 3 keys, but the buyer does not want the usb flash devices. Do i need to send a e-mail to you with his GUID's or can he foreward a e-mail from me with my registration info and his GUID's himself. Mine will than be revoked and he will get 3 new ones?
  11. I want to sell my pro licence key. It is installed on Transcend jetflash 600 usb stciks with lifetime warrantee, 32 GB I am asking 60 euro including the transcend usb sticks (28 Euo new) excluding shipping. Item located in Netherlands,Europe. Update: 2 are sold
  12. I have 1 Supermicro AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 cards for sale. (and 1 reserved for now) Including the box it comes in with heigh and low profile brackets and driver/documentation dvd/cd Asking 80 euro excluding shipping for 1 cardCards are still under warrantee here and about 4-6 months old. Items located in Netherlands, Europe All cards sold.
  13. I use norco hdr5-v2 5in3 cases. I need to remove 5 sata data, and a sata power cable with 5 connections form a tray when i need to swap a hdd out. Also unscrew 8 bolts to remove the 5in3'module from the pc case. 10.50 euro for the hdr5-v2 and 15 euro for a noctua pwm fan. I have 2 servers with 4x 5in3 modules in each server. So i looked at 8x 100 euro for hot swap v.s. 8x25 for non hot swap
  14. I did setpup zfs guru in my X9SCM-F, and sustained write rates of 108 Mbyte/sec via the lan to the server. This makes me think it is not an issue with the mainbord/chipset, but with some piece of software. Zfsguru is based on freebsd
  15. It is not limited to the c204 chipset, i have same slowdowns with my supermicro mainbord with a c216 chipset.
  16. Not longer valid, but i got nice things in which i would not have bougqht whien i had to pay shipping. Acousticalinsulation, anti vibrating o-rings etc.
  17. I am testing with nas4free at the moment, so any other checks i can do can take a while.
  18. Are you using the 3 m1015 cards right now ? I have 2 supermicro cards and now one m1015 to test with.
  19. I think it is a limit, and when you go under it ramps up again. This must be a savety threshold. Not sure from my head it is 300 or 700 though. Not likely i can check soon, as both my servers are stripped down, for drive replace some drives. You can read back the actual fan speed from all mainbord headers. The issue is there are only 2 pwm controls you can use (never got pwm 3 to work) I wrote this down in http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=23590.0
  20. Link ? I have 6 noctua fans in both my servers. The nf-f12 is 0.6 watt The nf-p12 is 0.6 watt The nf-r8 is 0.72 watt So 5 x 0.6 + 0.72 = < 4 watt at full rpm. They spin up not to full power at start up, but soon after the startup, and than are controlled down by the fanspeed scipt. No issues thus far
  21. Noctua provides splitters with their pwm fans. My findings on both the x9 mainbords i have http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=23590.0
  22. Downloadski I notice you had some issues with the Noctua fans on your X9SCM-F motherboard, did Supermicro cure these problems with a bios update and can you give me some advise as I've got 3x NF-P12 PWM, 2x NF-R8 PWM for my setup and want to know how to set them up. Thanks Look in the mainbord section at the topic on pwm support for the X9SCM-F thread. The ports you can read back are not the same as printed on the mainbord i think (also found the same with the X9SAE-V mainbord) read both threads and it will work out for you.
  23. This is useful information, thanks for that. Im interested how do you find the low power (35w) i3-2100T CPU in your setup, is it fast enough, as I noticed your running the E3-1265V2 on a different board. Does this board have IPMI and why did you go for the 1265V2 over other CPU's ? Late answer, but i hope it helps you. The i3-2100t works ok, i did not do lots of testing though. It runs stable with copy to the server, and streaming worked ok sometimes (problems with this mainbord in other threads) The 'other' bord i use is an X9SAE-V which has no ipmi and is more a workstation than a server mainbord. The E3-1265L v2 works ok as this has a c216 chipset and needs the video part in the chip (the E3-12X5 chips have video) I picked the 1265 chip over the others because of the lower TDP. As for the cou cooler question, i use an noctua NH-U9B se2 which is small enough not to block the first pci-e slot.
  24. Do NOT buy a 1265 chip for a mainbord with a c204 chipset. It is not advised by supermicro. I tried it and it will give you unpredicted result.
