Yep, same issue I have been having with added trackers being cleared. Wish it would either persist or have the option to re-add them during boot.

Yep, that is precisely what I want to do. Sadly it gets cleared anytime the docker is reset and it seems at random other times as well.

Been doing some research on this and it seems the API does support adding trackers to new torrents: add_trackers_enabled bool Enable automatic adding of trackers to new torrents add_trackers string List of trackers to add to new torrent How would I go about adding this? Is there a way to add a cron script? Or could it be added as a docker command? (remember linux noob here) Or maybe you could add it to the script and have an variable in the docker settings to add the link to get the list of trackers from or remove it to disable the option? This is the place I get the list of trackers from: https://github.com/ngosang/trackerslist I find it helps immensely.

btrfs incremental snapshots
Just wanted to say that I like where you are going with that, it is one of the features I would like to see in a plugin if it is ever made. I have not had time to test it out yet myself though as I am in the process of pre-clearing some drives and don't want to risk having to start that over lol. FYI, You can pass 1 argument to the script, just not more then one as spaces are not allowed in the argument with user scripts. It would be nice to be able to pass a "delete all snapshots" argument of some kind that will remove all snapshots so you can reclaim space if needed. I use this on a fairly regular basis. I suppose it is not possible to change the timezone of the snapshots? It would be handy for it to match the local timezone for hourly snapshots. EDIT: personally I find that an exclude more user friendly as if you ever add a share later it will be included without having to remember to add it manually. With an exclude list, worst case a new share gets snapshotted mistakenly and you have to delete it, reminding you to add it to the exclude list at the same time.

[Plugin] CA Auto Turbo Write Mode
What HBA card(s) are you using? Ok, was doing some more testing, I have had turbo write disabled since it was not working. I have kinda given up on turbo write detecting drives being spun down, it would be cool if a second option for enabling turbo write could be added. If a drive is being written to at more then X MB/s for more then Y seconds it enables turbo write. It then disables it again Z seconds after writing is finished.

Preclear plugin
Very nice, I thought I saw something like that at one point but then could not find it again when I had the issue last time.

Preclear plugin
Ah, didn't think about the UD section saying that it is valid. That should also work on the main system to let me know if the signature is valid. I can test it on a small 80gb drive that will not take long. I don't really have a 2nd system I can sacrifice for a few days while this runs.

Preclear plugin
Yep, same thing I am doing but when I used the enclosure it came with (WD elements) the pre-clear was not recognized and I had to do it again. I also have a USB dock and was going to use it but didn't want the same thing to happen. Was not sure if there was a way to verify the signature without adding the drive to the array.
-
Preclear plugin
I am curious, is it possible to test the preclear signature to make sure it will work properly? Let me explain, I have a USB dock I would like to use to pre-clear a drive but not sure if this will work when I plug it in via sata to attach it to the array. I was hoping to be able to test this before hand before wasting the time. I could use a small laptop drive for testing if needed but was not sure on a way to do this that would not cause me to have to rebuild parity.

[Plugin] CA Auto Turbo Write Mode
Ok, I noticed that in my case the shucked WD whites were not showing up as spun down with the HDparm command that turbo write was using and wanted to see if you were experiencing the same thing but guess it is not the drive that is the issue. Maybe moving to a smartctl command is more reliable?

What HDD's do you have?

lol, I figured that out after restarting and it seemed to hang forever. Ok, cut it down to the servers I use the most and seems to be working! EDIT: Well it is working, it is rotating through the servers but it is also dropping the connection every few minutes now and then having to reconnect to another server? It was stable for the last week or so on the CA nextgen server before this and that is still the first server in the list. It has already looped through all of the servers in the list (5 or 6 of them), it downloads great for like 10-15 mins and then drops the connection. The log viewer doesn't go back far enough to see everything but this is the only thing that stands out to me, 10 tries before this: 2020-10-07 11:25:10,161 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: [warn] Unable to bind port using URL 'https://*ip here****/bindPort' [info] 0 retries left [info] Retrying in 10 secs... 2020-10-07 11:25:20,162 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: [warn] Attempting to bind port failed, kill openvpn process to force retry of incoming port Restarting it now to see if it gets any better.

I checked the log after restarting with a nextgen server and it had this, seems like most of the servers now support port forwarding? Or is something wrong? 2020-10-07 09:31:55,716 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: [info] al.privacy.network [info] ad.privacy.network [info] austria.privacy.network [info] brussels.privacy.network [info] ba.privacy.network [info] sofia.privacy.network [info] czech.privacy.network [info] denmark.privacy.network [info] ee.privacy.network [info] fi.privacy.network [info] france.privacy.network [info] de-frankfurt.privacy.network 2020-10-07 09:31:55,717 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: [info] de-berlin.privacy.network [info] gr.privacy.network [info] hungary.privacy.network [info] is.privacy.network [info] ireland.privacy.network [info] man.privacy.network [info] italy.privacy.network [info] lv.privacy.network [info] liechtenstein.privacy.network [info] lt.privacy.network [info] lu.privacy.network [info] mk.privacy.network [info] malta.privacy.network [info] md.privacy.network [info] monaco.privacy.network [info] montenegro.privacy.network [info] nl-amsterdam.privacy.network [info] no.privacy.network [info] poland.privacy.network [info] pt.privacy.network [info] ro.privacy.network [info] rs.privacy.network [info] sk.privacy.network 2020-10-07 09:31:55,717 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: [info] spain.privacy.network [info] sweden.privacy.network [info] swiss.privacy.network [info] ua.privacy.network [info] uk-manchester.privacy.network [info] uk-london.privacy.network [info] uk-southampton.privacy.network [info] bahamas.privacy.network [info] ca-vancouver.privacy.network [info] ca-ontario.privacy.network [info] ca-montreal.privacy.network [info] ca-toronto.privacy.network [info] greenland.privacy.network [info] mexico.privacy.network [info] panama.privacy.network [info] ar.privacy.network [info] br.privacy.network [info] venezuela.privacy.network [info] yerevan.privacy.network [info] cambodia.privacy.network [info] china.privacy.network [info] cyprus.privacy.network [info] georgia.privacy.network [info] hk.privacy.network [info] in.privacy.network [info] iran.privacy.network [info] israel.privacy.network 2020-10-07 09:31:55,717 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: [info] japan.privacy.network [info] kazakhstan.privacy.network [info] philippines.privacy.network [info] qatar.privacy.network [info] saudiarabia.privacy.network [info] sg.privacy.network [info] srilanka.privacy.network [info] taiwan.privacy.network [info] tr.privacy.network [info] ae.privacy.network [info] vietnam.privacy.network [info] au-sydney.privacy.network [info] aus-melbourne.privacy.network [info] aus-perth.privacy.network [info] nz.privacy.network [info] dz.privacy.network [info] egypt.privacy.network [info] morocco.privacy.network [info] za.privacy.network I copy and edited them into this format and will paste them into the ovpn file, is this correct? Also curious about this, would be cool if a list of them in the ovpn formatting could be posted in the FAQ for an easy copy/paste.

Cool, so when you say that nextgen support works, does this include port forwarding?

I didn't have any issues, just entered the ip and port then the user name and password for the webui and everything just worked.

In unraid there is a button to check for updates to dockers and another button to update them. Alternatively in unraid you can just click force update as well to update even if an update is not detected. I have no idea how Synolgy is setup, you could try reading up on how that system works to see what the process is.

You greatly overestimate my abilities lol. So it looks like typing qbittorrent_port="${VPN_INCOMING_PORT}" into the console would change the port that qbittorrent listens on. I tried typing this into the console as a test but just get "qbittorrent_port: command not found" I tried a bunch of commands from the console and none of the ones I could find online worked, they all just gave a command not found since qbittorrent-cli is not installed.

[Support] binhex - qBittorrentVPN
I am curious, you are obviously able to change qbittorrent settings from the command line during boot/setup. How are you doing this? Using qbittorrent-cli? I really want to add some trackers to the options menu to be added to every torrent as it currently gets reset anytime the docker is reset (happening a lot with the VPN issues lately). This can be done with qbittorrent-cli but it does not seem to be installed and not sure how to do that.

Check the log file, if it is not able to connect to the VPN it will not load the GUI.

[Support] binhex - qBittorrentVPN
You should just be able to update the docker container like normal. All the folders that store your data should be mapped to folders on your server.

ok, no worries. Look forward to it.

Very cool! Being able to loop multiple files would be easier for the end user but I can understand doing it this way as well. I will update qbittorrent tonight and give it a try.
