  1. Yes, I use them both, I want to use this as a surveillance server mainly, and in the other nic I receive the data streams from the IP cameras. Both were working fine at the ending of last week. It's not the first time i get such kind of issues with unraid, when I started using it, I stopped seeing my Unassigned drives. I was more inexperienced back then than today, so I reinstalled it, and corrected the issue, but now, I have done more configs and added more apps and VMs to the system and now I wouldn't like to loose all that time by reinstalling. Any other idea?
  2. Thanks its a 3015M I'm using a Dell T420 Motherboard.
  3. Thanks for the help. Sorry for double posting, you've replied very fast, however in other forums, the answers don't come that fast. It won't happen again. So I renamed as you said, and lost all my network configs, the result is the same. If I try to install CA I get this error: Any other idea? All my network is working fine.
  4. I',m having the same issue here, but in my case I can't even ping my own router, cant either ping 1.1.1.1 nor 8.8.8.8 nor 8.8.4.4. Here is my config file. tower-diagnostics-20200910-0934.zip
  5. Hi, I'm having the same problem and I can't even ping my router, can any of you take a look to my settings? I'm quite lost here. Thanks a lot! tower-diagnostics-20200910-0934.zip
  6. Hi guys! Can you take a look at my diagnostics file here? I am not able to reach the internet, specifically CA. I uninstalled it and if I try to install it again I get this error: "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg download failure (Network failure)" Any ideas? i was running fine some weeks ago. Thanks! tower-diagnostics-20200908-2325.zip
  8. Hello, I have had the same issue, I even bought an Nvidia 1050 card to help my CPU and I couldn't make the CPU workload go down to a 5 or 7%, it remained with only 2 reolink (RLC410 and RLC410-5MPx) cameras at 2 Mpixels at around 30%. So I upgraded my cpu and I am looking forward to add a second cpu (I have a Dell T420 Server with a E52470 V2 processor which is the top for this kind of server). Now with 2 cameras at 4 and 5 Mpixels, the CPU is around 11-13% with motion detection on and no HW acceleration (because if I enable it the screen goes black and the cameras won't record anything). Shinobi has been running for 12 or 15 hours only (on this test, I've made lots or test runs) . If that is all the load for each 2 cameras I add, I think I will stick to Shinobi since I need only 5 cameras on this system. However when I started this last test run, the CPU was working between 9-10%. So My concern, and I saw it before with my old CPU is, that, the more time it passes by, the higher the CPU workload gets, and, after around 2 weaks, the CPU workload is so high (around 78% 80%), that the server becomes unstable and almost inoperable. I don´t know if this happens also to you, and I don't know if you could actually enable the hardware acceleration with motion detection correctly. Did you make it happen? Cheers
  9. Thanks, I did something similar, I installed Glas-DHCP server and configured to act as a DHCP on my secondary nic. Now it is working. Thank you so much for your input!
  10. Hello, I'm having a bit of a problem to access the CA Tab, I got this message: "Something really wrong went on during get_categories Post the ENTIRE contents of this message in the Community Applications Support Thread <br /> <b>Warning</b>: usort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in <b>/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php</b> on line <b>869</b><br /> <br /> <b>Warning</b>: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/community.applications/include/exec.php</b> on line <b>871</b><br /> {"categories":null}"
  11. Now posting from my concerns. I will leave the "hardware acceleration" issue aside I ended up upgrading my crappy E5 2403 to an E5 2470 V2 and so far it runs way better. However, I Still have issues with the playback, and I don't know why I can only see 2 days of videos. The videos are in the hard drive, but the video player does not see them. In the admin settings, they are set to store up to 40 days. Here are some screenshots you like: The second issue, as you may have noticed is that one of the "test" cameras only show a green screen in the recording (very useful by the way in a surveillance system). So, here are my new 2 questions: 1.- Why can't I see more than 2 days in the video player? 2.- Has the green screen occurred to you ? My cameras are Reolink RLC410 and Reolink and RLC410 5 MP. Thanks in advance for your valuable input.
  12. Hi, I've never used a Vlan, however I think I can understand how they work. Here are some observations. From that configuration in your Switch you are enabling the VLAN, however in the first table you are setting all the ports as "non members" and in the second one, you are setting all the ports to ve in the VLAN 1 and you are also setting the VLAN ID to 50 u 1-3,8. As far as I'm concerned ports 1-3,8 should be excluded from VLan 1 and left alone in the VLan 50. In space invaders video he has his cameras set to a fixed IP with a different topology from the rest of his network. If you configure your router to DHCP it will only assign ip adresses to one topology only, so you should assign each camera one (or set another DHCP server into that VLan 50) In my case, should it help you, I have 2 separate networks, one is from my home and the other is for the cameras only. My server (now a Dell T420) has two ethernet adapters, one connects to my home network (192.168.2....) and the other connects to the cameras (10.10.10...) for that matter I enabled docker app called "Glass | ISC DHCP Server" Which listens to my cameras and assigns a dynamic IP address when requested. I hope I have at least pointed you towards something.
  13. Hi, I have a Dell T320 Server with a LSI Flased Perc H310 SAS card. That card controlls 4 SAS Drives I'm trying to pass through one of them completely to my Windows 10 VM as a second drive. I added in the VM template as a 2nd VDisk. The template accepted it and I restarted the VM However, the drive does not appear in the windows explorer (why am I not surprissed? It is always the same thing with unraid.). I looked for it at the drive manager and it does not appear, so I went to the device manager and it detetcs a SCSI card but, it can't find the right driver. (sorry, windows language is spanish, but there it shows "Other Devices" and inside with the exclamation point is the SAS Card I guess). So I suppose that the Hard drive is not even seen by the VM since the SAS card is not recognized. Before I threw this SAS card into the server, I tested it in my PC and, in windows 10, it was recognized immediately without the need of any driver. I tried to pass it through to the VM but if I do that, the array is basically killed because it does not recognize the SAS drives. Do you have any Idea?
  14. I agree with you, Shinobi is way difficult to setup. What CPU usage do you get with that setup? And what resolution are you using?
  15. Dear Edward, Thanks for replying, I always try to do everything as you say. To answer your question, yes I did set the extra parameter: --runtime=nvidia. Here are some screenshots, at the left there is shinoby working and on the right is my virtual machine running Ispy on windows 10. (I set this as you said in your video) I have set at this moment 2 cameras, (The other 4 were reconnected back to my noisy and lousy Reolink NVR ) 1 is broken and only streams a gray screen, the other... well I thought it was dead, but now is working again and is streaming part of my studio. Here is my dashboard, the GPU is at 0% while the CPU only with shinobi, The VM only recording the stream is 58%. Here is the template top part The rest of the template. Thanks a lot!
  16. Well, Thanks for the info, but there is no way I can make this work. I had shinobi pro installed, so I changed the name of the repository to "nvidia" and it downoaded like 2 Gigs and the CPU usage never came down and the GPU usage remained in 0%. By the way, I didn't get the 2 options: Driver Capabilities and GPU ID. I had added them as variables in my last attempt. So I deleted the container, installed it again and the last 2 options appeared (Driver capabilities and GPU ID). I did not make a lot of configurations because Shinobi was configured as I had it (I don´t know why) So I ran it again, and set up my cameras to access the Hardware, and nothing happens. Take a look at this: The HWAccel Device is blank, I have tryed to type my hardware ID and it completely ignores it...and Regarding the CoProcessor I don't even know what that is. I asked for a manual to Shinobi support and they did the same as their software (exactly: ignore me). Here is a screenshot of my dashboard running a VM Windows 10 VM (@ idle by the way). My DHCP Server and Shinobi with only one camera with a still image in my Xeon E5 2403 ( pretty useless by the way) . My CPU is at 37% while my GPU is on vacation zipping some margaritas at the beach! (I'm being sarcastic by the way) So, I hope you can give me a bit of help on this one because I'm loosing my hair on this. Any kind of help will be very appreciated it. Thanks in advance
  17. I can only say: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I Knew Edward was after this but I had not found it yet! Let me see If I can configure it ASAP!! Cheers!
  18. Hi, how can I passthrough my Nvidia card to ShinobiPro Docker ?
  19. Check this video on minute 3:00, the dashboard shows some Unassigned Devices with temperature:
  20. I have the same cameras as you, Interesting I found that they are made by Swann. Anyway, Which one is better SMTP or FTP? Thanks!
  21. Hi, I want to install a gpu in my Shinobi to relieve some workload from the GPU, I've been searching and I found a document on Shinobi with some instructions for adding an Nvidia card to work with Shinobi, have any of you installed a GPU with these instructions? https://shinobi.video/docs/gpu Thanks in advance.
  22. Just to add some info to this post, I had the something similar. For any strange reason DNS addresses were not resolving, so I had to add DNS servers manually to my NIC. Your IP address can remain in auto mode. Cheers!
  23. Hi, I'm having something similar. The problem happens when installing Mariadb, It is like there is no software available to download. I get this info: I have glass dhcp installed and I kind of think that I have installed it for that docker, but it does not appear on my dockers: Could it be because the array is running? I am attaching a copy of my diagnostics file. Thanks! Update July 18th 2020 It turned out that my ethernet settings had only my router as DNS server, there is nothing wrong to have your router (or gateway) acting as your DNS, however in this case the IP addresses were not being resolved. I had to stop the array and then changed the NIC settings adding some DNS servers (ie. 8.8.8.8) and now it is working. C' ya! tower-diagnostics-20200716-0917.zip
  24. It is now 2020, has a way to monitor temperature for UD drives ? Cheers!
  25. Ok, I'll look into it, and If I have other questions, I'll come back here. Thanks!
