That's not the link I see in the release notes, I see https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/6.12.4/#fix-for-macvlan-call-traces
And it works just fine.
-
Can it be linked to daylight saving change somehow ?
I had a backup script being skipped because of that.

Please attach diagnostics when the problem happens.

It looks like a feature request, not a bug.
If I am right, please post it there instead :
-
You should set up a syslog server and post the log file after the issue happened.

Perfect, thanks.

Parity check tuning is a third party plugin, not part of base Unraid.
Have you tried without the plugin to ensure that it is indeed an Unraid issue ?
-
Have you tried the manual method ?

Same issue here. I'm on a 1 Gb fibre line and only getting 25 KB/s from unraid via digitaloceanspace.com
It's going to be a very painful 6 hours to even make my USB stick
Not super fast here but at least 5.5MB/s.
Probably also a ISP or routing issue as previously reported 3 years ago.

Not sure I understand the issue.
This folder can be named "EFI" or "EFI-" both are correct but not for the same usecase.
- EFI- is for booting in legacy/BIOS mode
- EFI is for booting in UEFI mode
(point 8 of https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/getting-started/manual-install-method/ )
Can you clarify ?

This is not a but report, you should create a thread in general support with your diagnostics :
-
Connect is not part of the core OS so I don't think support is supposed to be on the general forums (bugs or other)
This already has been answered in the Connect support forum.

Please attach your diagnostics for bug reports.
Are you using the Realtek plugin ?
if so, is it up to date ?
if not, you should try it since the Realtek kernel drivers are hit and miss.
Install/update the plugin from 6.12.4 then update to 6.12.5. Note to wait for the system to tell you that you can reboot.
-
That could be an issue with your flashdrive, as every config file is stored there.
Maybe run a checkdisk on it ?
-
Not sure it's a bug.
Running new permissions on appdata or the system share is not a good idea (especially if you are using docker with a directory rather than an image).

Any updates for Arc driver compatibility?
Probably not as the support is only available on kernel 6.2+ from what I understand.
QuoteLinux kernel
version 6.1.46 (CVE-2023-20593)

Then I would say that it is a Unassigned Devices bug, not an Unraid bug.
You should report that in the plugin's thread.

What can I do to analyze the issue. Logs are cleaned after the reboot, so I cannot figure out what causes the crash
Please setup a syslog server and post the file along your diagnostics after the next crash.

Hello @ChatNoir 👋 Just wanted to keep you updated regarding this case and have everything condensed into one post.
Thanks for that, but I do not see any MACVLAN or any other issues, I was just answering on your thread title about RAM increase.
And on that topic, it is still higher (though not problematic with my usecase). Here is the view from the last 90 days.
The main culprit seems to be Plex being around 300MB previously to 1 to 11GB now. Maybe the --no-healthcheck command could help, I'll look into it (maybe) when I have some vacation time at home.
-
Did you check the /logs directory of your flash drive ?
Any command line diagnostics should be stored there.

Mover logging is only supposed to be used to diagnose a mover problem.
Not to be enabled full-time.
