  1. I get an Execute Error after installing the CUPS container. I used all the default settings, so I feel like I am doing something incredibly stupid. Sorry for the noob problem. Can anyone help?
  2. I have a 2TB HDD that doesn't have any data on it (well, 14GB from formatting to xfs, but no files). Is there an easy way to just swap that out with my new 8TB drive?
  3. I just upgraded my unraid hardware from a i3 7350k to a i5 9600K. With the i3, for large downloads (>30gigs) it would take about 7 minutes to unpack. Using my HTPC that has a i7 4790k running windows 10, that same file would unpack in about 4 minutes. After upgrading to the i5 in the unraid, I expected that same file to take much less time than the i3, but instead, it took about 11 minutes (4 minutes longer than the i3 that has 2 cores compared to the 6 cores of the i5). Looking at NetData, I have huge peaks in the IO Wait during the unpacking. For my downloads, I download to the a SSD cache and unpack there as well. The docker image is 120GB on a 480GB SSD (the cache) and there is plenty of space on it. I checked the disk writes and only the cache has writes during download and unpacking. Any suggestions on what is going on and how I might fix this?
  4. I followed the instructions to create the imdb list using my watchlist from imdb. when i combine the radarr api url and the path to list in a browser, i can see my list, but when i fetch the list in radarr, i get "sorry. we couldn't find any movies matching." what am i doing wrong? the list is public on imdb and i am using my ls number, (not the ur number). is there something on the imdb side that i need to configure? thanks.
  5. I appreciate the detailed instructions, I got it working. I'm guessing Handbrake is still CPU intensive? I am transcoding a TV show from .TS to h.264 and it's giving my CPU a workout.
  6. I reached out to Asus support and described the situation. They informed me that it should be working with both iGPU and the video card. Supposedly they are going to test in their lab. I won't be holding my breath. In the meantime, if anyone has some ideas, I'm all ears. Thanks for all the help.
  7. I have a monitor (TV) plugged in to the mobo, but not the video card. And yes, it's the most recent BIOS.
  8. I can only get intel quicksync to work if the video card is physically removed from the machine, or if I install stock unraid (removing the nvidia drivers). Of course, if the nvidia drivers are uninstalled, I can't use the video cards that are installed for protein folding, etc.
  9. I appreciate the help. I'll try the handbrake settings. As for Plex, I'm still having the same issue. I did as you suggested, but it reverts back to using the CPU for transcoding, and not the iGPU. Prior to setting up the iGPU, I was using a GTX1070 for plex, and a 750ti for folding. I used SpaceInvader's tutorials and had those working perfectly. When I read about intel quicksync, I decided to use the 1070 for something else. Any ideas on what to try now? Am I having problems because of the nvidia drivers? I attached a picture of my BIOS, my container settings, as well as the ls results from the terminal and what Plex looks like while transcoding.
  10. Do you have a link to a guide on how you got handbrake to use the iGPU for transcoding? Also, I finally got my unraid server to use the iGPU for Plex transcoding. I was having issues because I had a couple of graphics cards installed. Is it possible to use iGPU for Plex, and keep those cards plugged in for protein folding with FAH and maybe to be used as a passthrough GPU in a VM? I tried everything that I could think of and the only way I was able to get it working was removing the GPU's. My setup is a Asus z170-AR with a i3-7350k. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  11. I'm considering using the windows VM and Plex media server instead of the docker. I use my GTX1070 for transcoding. When using the docker, I can't seem to find a way to control the fan speed and I would like to do that. My thought was to use the windows 10 VM so that I could transcode with the GPU and keep the care cool. Has anyone tried something similar?
  12. I tried the above link and i got "error while loading shared libraries...". Has anyone been able to tweak the GPU fan speed? I'm trying to get them to cool a bit more at baseline.
