  1. This is one way correct? If I happen to add files to my cloud provider NOT from the unraid server I would like for that to be pulled down as well. I understand the difficulty here. If I am a cloud provider I have incentive to create desktop apps that reach a wide audience. Much of what is enjoyed on the unraid platform is created by the community. I'm just surprised that no one has tackled a sync platform for cloud storage. Resilio sync works great for syncing data between my main laptop and my server .... BUT I don't keep all of my data on my laptop ... It seems the main workaround folks have tried is spinning up a VM on the server to sync with the cloud. Is there a recent tutorial that can be shared?
  2. I am very new to unraid - I have about 3 months under my belt with an unraid server. I went in this direction after my Synology NAS started failing after 6 years. (no data loss!!!). I have everything configured just the way I need it .... plex server, plenty of shares, loads of space with parity protection, VM's, VPN ..... BUT I am AMAZED that there is no easy way to sync unraid shares with a cloud provider. I took Synology's cloud sync service for granted. One feature in particular was using OneDrives photo sync to push photos to the cloud and then have them appear on my NAS .... WHILE ON VACATION AWAY FROM MY SERVER. OneDrive, Google Drive, and OpenDrive all all reasonably priced cloud storage providers that I would like to keep SOME of my data synced without relying on a laptop or other PC. I love my always on, headless, parity protected server. Just let me easily sync some of this data to the cloud .... Am I missing something?
  3. I think I have the file sync in a good place. Im using goodsync on my two computers set to sync with my NAS. The sync preference is to always use the newest file. Can anyone suggest a solution to backup the critical fils on my Nas to a cloud provider? I would like something that does not require the command line.
  4. Hi All, New Unraid user here - about 4 days in. I have found the information in this community to be very helpful as I learn how to use Unraid. The setup process, array configuration, Plex server, and basic usage has gone very smoothly. I was using an old Synology NAS and my new server is much more powerful. Where I am running into a roadblock is with cloud backup and file synchronization across different devices. I used Cloudstation and Synology Drive to handle these tasks with my DSM device. I have a primary Mac computer and a windows laptop that I'd like to keep certain folders in sync. I also like to automatically upload pictures from my phone and my wife's phone. I think NextCloud is a good choice for this but I cannot get the sync to work properly since I added the shared folders a "external" drives from my array. (hope this makes sense). I also have had ZERO luck with any cloud backup solution. I run into a wall every time (usually with rClone). I am able to use Backblaze B2, Open Drive, or OneDrive as the cloud source. Is there anything as simple to use as cloud station with Unraid? Thanks for reading and feel free to answer in detail or point me to a relevent guide or walk through (I've watches A LOT of the space invader videos)
