  1. nada? Is there some other information I could post? I realize its likely a super noob question but help would be appreciated, maybe I should post on the github issues?
  2. For some reason I cant seem to access the webgui, everytime I try to I get: Unable to connect Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at localhost:8082. have tried using my lan ip 192.168...:8082 same error. 3. apparently export needed to be enabled
  4. Yes, well one share in particular but yes public shares. I took a look on the share and confirmed, its set to public.
  5. I had to reinstall unraid recently and reinstalled many of the dockers I was runing before, problem is most, but not all, of them are giving me errors when i try to connect to the webUI i get an error, like for the invidious docker: Unable to connect Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.129:2690. i get pretty much the same kind of error for the linuxserver qbittorrent docker but then for things like qdirstat and resilio-sync they seem to work? Am really not sure how to resolve this?
  6. I used to be able to connect my kodi box to unraid via SMB but my flash drive went bad (yeah, didnt have a proper backup) so I had to reinstall unraid and now I cant figure how to set it so I can connect to unraid via SMB? I thought it would be settings -> network services -> smb but it seems to have the correct settings? (the defaults, workgroup is "WORKGROUP", smb is enabled... but I cant seem to connect? Are there some other settings I should be checking?
  7. yeah!!!!!! THANK YOU! Yes, the old flash is still in use and I can ssh into my machine and just took a look at the /boot/config folder so hopefully am good. Really appreciate it!
  8. It seems my flash is dying, i tried fixing it on a win box but scan disk (or whatever its called) said the flash was fine. I am not able to access the web interface, when I try to login in I get: Warning: session_write_close(): write failed: No space left on device (28) in /usr/local/emhttp/login.php on line 96 Warning: session_write_close(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/lib/php) in /usr/local/emhttp/login.php on line 96 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/emhttp/login.php:96) in /usr/local/emhttp/login.php on line 98 So I used the unraid flash disk utility to write an image to a new flash (64gb, it warns me but continues) but its unclear to me if i can get the config dir and my old key from within an ssh session or not? I have been scared to shutdown my computer fearing I would not be able to boot unraid again or read the flash drive so wanted to at least see if i can copy those via an ssh session first before shutting down the server and copying those files locally. The error seems to indicate I am our of space, it was a 16gb flash and the unraid flash utility says unraid only takes up 1gig ... so? thoughts?
  9. That would be great! Thank you (again!)
  10. Yay! Thank you for this! Question though, is there a way to use the cli version? I tried opening a terminal and it seems that the cli usage of it is actually a separate program? I had assumed that it would just be a cli with a gui interface separate? I tried wgetting it from https://github.com/qarmin/czkawka/releases/download/2.3.0/linux_czkawka_cli into the docker which worked except it didnt as when i try to run it, well here: /tmp # chmod 755 linux_czkawka_cli /tmp # ls linux_czkawka_cli nginx run /tmp # ./linux_czkawka_cli sh: ./linux_czkawka_cli: not found /tmp # linux_czkawka_cli --help sh: linux_czkawka_cli: not found /tmp # ./linux_czkawka_cli --help sh: ./linux_czkawka_cli: not found The reason I ask is I wanted to automate a few things and the cli interface is perfect for that. Regardless, thanks for this! I have been waiting for either Czkawka or some other prog that I could run via docker that can detect similar graphics! Cheers
  11. I installed the docker on unraid but when i try to use the login:admin password:adminadmin it just takes me back to the login page like I never put in login creds? no error or anything (I can get an error if i try to enter something else but if i put in the correct login i get nada)?
  12. This is barely related but I am getting a bit desperate. I am trying to find a caddy for my N54L and they seem to be non-existent on the net, not ebay or anywhere else. Does anyone know of a places that sells the cold swap caddies that will fit a G7 microserver? Suggestions welcome and really appreciated! Update: correction, I can't find them for anything less than highway robbery
  13. No worries, Thanks for the reponse (better late than never!). Ok, so at least now I know I am on the right track in needing the script but I haven't managed to resolve the issues that I was having with the script. Do you think the script is supposed to be edited? I tried just putting the script as was and also editing but nada, also, where exactly do you think it should go? Thanks so much!
  14. Not to pry, but was anyone able to figure out how to get syncthing to write versions to an alternate location?
  15. Of course, sorry about that. Its buried in the syncthing docs here https://docs.syncthing.net/users/versioning.html#external-file-versioning
  16. Thanks for the example. I don't suppose your setup allows you to write the versions to an alternate location? (It doesn't seem like it from the paths you listed but... I am not sure about much lately when it comes to setting up syncthing). I am totally open to *not* using the script, I just got the impression that it was the way one had to go to specify an alternate location for the versions to be written, I'd be happy(er) if I didn't have to bother with the script and could just specify the alternate paths via the gui?
  17. Thanks for the reply, I just back from a trip and have time to try this out. Another question though. How can I change the "File Versionings Directory" location? That is, I would like syncthing to keep track of everything in: /sync/Music But have all older versions of files put in an identical (recreated) dir tree under /sync/Versions/ST Is that possible? having the older versions in the same tree as the newer versions was not ideal for my work flow so if I could have the older versions put in a different location that would be perfect! I was reading the "External File Versioning" on the syncthing site, I think that is what I need, but there are quite a few things I am not getting: I couldn't figure where to put the script it gave? I tried putting the script in /mnt/user/appdata/syncthing# but nothing seems to happen? I am wholly unconfident about editing the script and, for this scenario would I have to run the script every time I wanted the versions of a file put in this alternate location? Sorry but the paths part of dockers confuses me to no end, and now I am thinking I know even less about scripts than I originally thought
  18. This feels like a basic question but I haven't managed to answer it myself after reading. If I want to use syncthing on different shares does that mean I have to add a container for each share? I tried setting up one container with Host Path 1: as / and Host Path 2: /mnt/user/ (and within that the Container Path: as /) That didn't seem to work? Any details I am missing? I would love to have one container and then list all the shares I want to sync as folders via the syncthing webUI
  19. I installed syncthing and it worked like a charm... until I started to tinker with it. I would really like the versions to be put on another share instead of mixed in with the existing dir tree. I went to the https://docs.syncthing.net/users/versioning.html page tried to follow the instructions (for linux) word for word modifying the version path (to the Share I want) in the sh script and in the command "box" (from syncthing webgui -> folders -> edit button on folder I made -> advanced settings -> file versioning -> external file versioning -> Command) I put the path, in my case /root/bin/onlylatest.sh The problem is, under folders its saying "Out of sync" and showing (in my case) 7 failed items, when I click on that it shows the items and each one shows an error "balloon" "fork/exec /root/bin/onlylatest.sh: permission denied" I was thinking maybe it was execute pemissions but I dbl checked and its -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 376 Mar 1 02:51 onlylatest.sh* So I figure its executable, I thought maybe ownership might be an issue since in the syncthing page the example showed the person using the "Users/jb/bin" (I would have thought it would be /home but maybe other distros do it other ways). Ownership is just a bit over my head, I know its chown but down know the different users on the system, i just used root (horrible opsec I know). Thoughts?
  20. v14.7? Just out of curiosity, how are you updating? I click on "check for updates" and am told that I am up to date with v14.5 on linux 64 bit etc but if you have 14.7 then perhaps I am not up to date? (and updating would help the problem I am having? hopefully?) His clients are 14.7.... Perhaps I am confused about what clients are? When I go to the webui -> actions -> about it says v14.5 (and in the log it tells me [OERHT] 21:59:43 INFO: syncthing v0.14.5 "Dysprosium Dragonfly" go1.7 linux-amd64). If I update from the Docker page I would think it would update syncthing to the newest version? (maybe I am all off and he updated manually to 14.7 which isn't in the repo or something... I am just hoping that an update might go some ways towards helping me resolve the issue I am having)

  22. Is there any other information other than the above that I could post that would make the diagnosis easier? I'd really like to get this working but am at a loss on where else to try
  23. I have the syncthing docker running on both of my servers now and no apparent errors (initially) but under webgui/Remote devices they now aren't seeing each other and are giving errors for backing up appdate (via the settings/Backup Appdata option). While the servers did see each other initially they didn't actually sync, I really don't think I changed anything, because I was going to get back to it to figure out the syncing but now a few days later not only are they still not syncing but they haven't "seen" each other for days? I have all the "discovery stuff" enabled: Enable NAT traversal Local Discovery Global Discovery Enable Relaying and the global discovery server is set to default.
