Solutions

  1. petjek's post in /var/log is getting full was marked as the answer   
    I think I found and solved the problem with a littel help from Claude.
    I had NetBIOS set active in Samba settings. I changed and restarted Samba service. Looks good now. No more warnings flooding syslog.
