Im using OpenVPN client and every so often my modem reboots and my dockers etc lose internet activity because the OpenVPN client disconnected and shows no WAN IP Address and I have to manually stop/start the plugin to reconnect and regain access. Is it possible to periodically check the connection status and restart/reconnect if disconnected

Ive given up on plugins now except for openvpn (non Phaze plugin) and switched to linuxserver.io dockers to me these seem to be some of the better ones available and ive never had problems with them in the past and they are well supported

I would like to know this too I have looked and cannot see any options

My server has been running for the last maybe 5 years with no issues using some old mismatched ram but I want to start using VMs so need more ram but everytime I replace it with known working matched and compatible ram the system boots fully into unraid but I have no network access I can access the full system and it seems to be working fine through the console just no outside communication I have attached a diagnostics report with the new ram installed thanks unraid-diagnostics-20160917-1959.zip

yea it needs clearing up the plex share is unused now thats from a previous version ive probably got quite a few terabytes that could be deleted the plex config directory is /mnt/user/appdata/plex with other plugins using the same /mnt/user/appdata/plugin_name I have only just replaced the cache disk from a old computer as the one in before was removed because I suspected that at first but having no cache disk made no difference

the only docker i have is for nzbget and plugins are sickbeard, couchpotato, transmission the cache just has a single share on it called tmp that is used for plex transcoding and set as cache only no other sgare is set to use the cache as far as im aware

All they are missing through SMB but also if you view through the webui and SSH/terminal some shares just show as empty directories or with missing content. I have one called appdata this has configs for plex etc and these show as empty and the plugins say that they cannot find the config files until after a reboot. Its not a new setup its been running for many many years back from unraid 4.x, 5.x and has been running on 6 since about beta 8 i think but now is on 6.0.1 since it was released.

I have this weird issue and cannot figure out what is causing it basically every morning some of my user shares are unavailable and the ones that are available are showing lots of missing files but after a reboot everything comes back as normal and stays that way until the following morning. This happens every night I don't have any array errors and parity checks come back ok I just have to stop the array and reboot every morning it seems that everything that was added within the last 2-3 months is gone until rebooted. Any Advice would be helpful

The ones I'm wanting to use are 2x 4GB matched pairs from Kingston (Hyper X) that I have used with this board for about a year under windows and ubuntu without issues but under unRAID it fails to boot correctly with the cant find by device Id error. The only reason I have the mixed modules installed now is because the ones I want to use unRAID cant find the flash by its name I have installed a single 2GB in slot 1 all is OK but just replacing that single stick with a 4GB known working memory stick in this board causes unRAID to not be able to find the flash by its device label Ive been building computers for over 20 years so this is not new to me but I'm stumped as to why it can fully boot but not find the flash by its name to load the config etc by simply changing a single stick of ram

I have ran my server on 2GB for a couple of years under unraid 5 without issues but when I changed to unraid 6 I put in more memory (4GB 1x2GB & 2x 1GB) but its only allocating 3GB. I originally tried 8GB (2x 4GB Sticks) but the system does not boot properly with these and I get a error Waiting for /dev/disk/by-label/UNRAID (will check for 30 sec). after 30 seconds it boots to the tower login but without the config from the usb stick running free i get free total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 3053172 2909192 143980 0 128 2092740 -/+ buffers/cache: 816324 2236848 Swap: 0 0 0 Memory size allocated 2982 MB installed 4096 MB (max. 32 GB)

I used to use inflencers plugins in 5 but since moving to 6 i ended up using dockers but find the plugin system much better but always wondered what the sickbeard_alt was now i know lmao thanks

Any chance of adding sickrage ive altered your version of sickbeard to pull sickrage (sickbeard clone) from git and also changed all directories etc to stop any sickbeard/sickrage conflicts don't think ive missed anything out but I am still using the sickbeard logo sickrage.64bit.plg

I use OpenELEC on miniitx ion boards with MySQL exclusively apart from on my windows pc's (laptop etc) where I use xbmc all using the Aeon Nox skin. Most MKV's are re-encoded due to lack of upgradability space in the drobo-fs but these are slowly being replaced by untouched MKV's direct from the BD Discs now ive replaced the drobo with a 24 bay unraid server and so far now up to 7 data discs installed.

I access all my servers over the internet securely all the time but it is not straight forward. basically instead of using cheap plastic routers I run pfsense on a mini itx atom board with VPN setup and connect to any computer on my local network over VPN using the same private ip's im used to this I prefer to running hamachi or trying to open ports.

The web Interface dying is the only problem I have also with simple features installed I don't know if this a issue of simple features interface of not may try disabling it for a while see if it makes a difference.
