Thank for your reply. Currently it is headless however if needed I can move the server to where I can get those connected. I had perhaps thought I could modify a file of sorts on the unraid usb as it would be easier but either way I just need it fixed. It's been that long since I had it connected I don't even remember what way it comes up if it's a command line or a UI on it.

2 part issue guys and gals. I started off with SMB issues and that I couldn't gain access to my shares no matter what I done and searched on here and followed all steps given but still couldn't access the shares... Anyhow me being me I thought it much be something to do with my static ip. So when I was trying different things in there and I now can no longer access the server at all. I am stuck and don't know how to move forward. Is there a way to default the network settings back to auto somehow by typing in some command or perhaps replacing a file so I can get back to my shares not working? Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's what I thought but I cant see where it give the option to set subnet mask on unraid. it just has /22, 23, 24 etc

The same although normally It would be different unless I followed the video wrong?

Trying to use the IP address. My 1GB Port has a IP of 192.168.1.255 So I set the 2nd port on the server to 10.10.20.199 like in the video thinking it would work as his primary address was that so I'll just reverse them. So on my pc I enter up of 10.10.20.199 to the 2.5gb port like shown in the video but the pc will not connect to the server or let.ke map a drive nor will it let me try and ping the server. However I think my subnet may be the same on both but I don't know what to change the server to or how as.it doesn't really explain on the video. So using 255.255.255.0 but I think my 1gb line uses the same as assigned by my internet provider.

Unfortunatly after much time I can not get this to work, windows can not find the unraid server. I have double and triple checked but I can not figure it out.

Hey folks, I am wondering if it is possible to have 2 ethernet ports active on my unraid server. Let me explain. I have the usual main 1GB port connected to network switch for the house to access however the server also has a 2.5GB port as well as my PC. Is it possible to have a direct "crossover" link between my main pc and the server while having the 1GB port deal with the rest of the house without buying a 2.5gb network switch. I have crossover cables etc here but have no idea how I would go about configuring unraid for that matter if it was to work. All help greatly appreciated as usual. Thank you.

Hey folks, searched the forum and cant seem to find a straight forward answer to this. Is it possible to say have my main ethernet port (1gb) and the 2nd ethernet (2.5gb) both enabled however 1 is connected to the network and internet (1gb) and the 2.5gb port connected directly to my 2nd port on my pc directly? I don't have a 2.5gb switch but both my acting server and my pc have a 2.5gb port. I hope I explained this right. if anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all, I can write around 1mbps to the server, I have checked everything I can. Even when it was working better I was only getting like a max of 6/7mbps. Its totally pathetic. I was getting 6/7 before last update but seemingly since latest update I cant crack 1mb, whether its a coincidence or not I am unsure but its frying my head. Is there anything I can try to diagnose the issue? Currently its trying to copy to a cache SSD and I am getting 900kbps, Its most likely something stupid I am doing but for love nor money I cant figure it out. Update 1, from reason others that have issues I checked the source drive and used my computers nvme drive to copy similar files but it maxed out at 3-4mbps diagnostics-20230909-1253.zip

Hey folks, I'm having issues with downloading anything in qbittorrent. I've set the directories up as I want but it wont download anything, if I put them back to default it will. So obviously I'm not putting correct download location in as Im a first time user of unraid. Can anyone help me out? Qbittorrent details from docker page: /data/mnt/user/Torrents/Downloads/ /config/mnt/user/appdata/binhex-qbittorrentvpn Setting menu inside it defaults to: /config/qBittorrent/downloads/ I change it to: /data/mnt/user/Torrents/Downloads/ Torrents won't download, each one says stalled, set it back to default and away they go no problem. From this can anyone guide me on what I should be putting in the Settings menu? I've also tried deluge by binhex also to the /Torrents/Downloads/ folder and it works straight off the bat but its a nightmare of software to use. Hate it. A;ways used qbittorrent on pc for years so I would like to use it also on server. Thanks in advance.
