Does Unraid accept your stick regarding GUID and the Unraid-Licence? If so, the ID must be displayed in the settings, or?

Thanks for your help. OK - there's a workaround for a manual installation. But what is happening after that? Does Unraid see after this manual installation the GUID? If not, the use of this stick doesn't make any sense.

The screenshots actually speak a clear language. I've ordered three sticks at one time. For me it was ok that two out of three sticks work. No need for return because of 7 Euros. I can use the third stick regularly as data stick.

I hope the crew keeps an eye on this problem. USB sticks are not exactly the means of choice for such critical applications. It would be interesting to know whether there could be a solution without a USB stick in the future. Is it not possible to attach a licence key to an SSD?

Hello together, I bought a bundle of three almost the same USB-sticks. (3x Transcend JetFlash 350 32GB USB 2.0) This stick is often recommended for Unraid. Now I checked all three sticks with the Unraid USB-Creator if the sticks have an unique GUID. Unraid USB-Creator has accepted two of the sticks, but for the third stick there wasn't shown an GUID. Now I've read out the data of each stick via USB-View and compared them. Every stick has a proper deposited Instance ID, which seems to be responsible for the GUID. Here I can't see any reasons, why the GUID from the third stick isn't shown by the Unraid USB-Creator. Please see the attached screenshots. (Compare Stick No1 / No2 with Stick No3) Is there possibly a bug in the Unraid USB-Creator-Software? (Version 1.0.1) Thank you.

Hi all, I had the same problem and I can confirm that the installation of Win 7 Pro 64bit works, if you are changing the vDisk bus at the VM-template from "VirtIO" to "SATA".

I installed Syncthing and it works great so far. But I have one issue: For testing I copied a 500 MB File to a sorce-folder that should be synced via Syncthing to the Unraid-Share. The sync have started, but I deleted this file at the source-folder before syncing has completed. Now I get at the summary "Syncing 95%" and the deleted file as "Out of Sync Items". See screenshot: Is there a way, maybe under Settings -> Advanced -> Folder, that Syncthing figures out, that the file was in the meantime deleted and has not to be synced in the future? A rescan showed no success of this status. Thanks and best regards. Edit: For some reaseon I've seen that in the source-folder the 500 MB file was still there (don't know why), but on the Unraid-Share not (which is ok). As soon I deleted the file from the source folder the sync was "Up to date" again.
