  1. Hello, I am currently running one preclear cyle on my new drive, but the speed is awfully low. I already precleard two similar 8TB drives which took 46 hours to finish the preclear a while ago. My two current drives are WD80EZAZ and the new one is a WD80EDAZ. I know that the new drive is not helium filled and runs really hot (54°C), but it should not be that much slower (32MB/s for around two hours). The drive is still sitting in the default WD MyBook enclosure. The drive is connected via a USB 3.0 connection. Any ideas why the drive is so much slower? I am pretty sure that I had a different Motherboard and CPU (B85M PRO4 and i5 4460) when I precleared the first two drives. My current server looks like this: MS-S0891 Xeon E3-1230v3 8GB DDR3 UDIMM ECC 2x 8TB WD80EZAZ 1x 2TB ST2000DM001 1x 500GB Intenso SSD Cache PicoPSU Node 304 Any help is apprectiated. Thanks! Edit: Fixed it myself. XHCI was disabled in BIOS.
