yes i have. ive also tried creating volume maps but regardless complete & incomplete folders keep getting created

any changes made to the setting.json are not sticking on docker restart in my case it keeps creating lowercase complete & incomplete even though Complete & Incomplete already exist

First line being the name that's been discovered. In my case iPad (no quote marks). Second line is the code that is displayed on the iDevice. 8 ) Name the file as iPad.remote (what you call it doesn't matter, but the extension has to be .remote) 9) Save that file to the folder that holds all your music. In my case /mnt/user/music 10) Restart Docker 11) ..... and this is where i'm now stuck. i get error: remote: Read Remote pairing data (name 'iPad', pin '9709') from /music/ipad.remote [2015-12-12 11:19:16] [ LOG] remote: Remote 'iPad' not known from mDNS, ignoring Then I found this post: https://github.com/jasonmc/forked-daapd/issues/41 So i got it working by pointing my /music mapping to a folder that was empty -> copied .remote file into there and it picked it up straight away

i migrated from needos docker. 1. my current folders are capitalized for Complete & Incomplete. now each time the docker starts a complete & incomplete folder is created lowercase. downloads still go towards the capitalized directories but the lowercase are just there being duplicates and causing headaches on my mac i tried editing the settings.json but changes doesnt seem to stick and issue still persists when restarted. 2. is there a way to add a username and password?? similar to needos container??

i use this command to transfer all my data rsync -av --progress --remove-source-files /mnt/diskX/ /mnt/diskY i didnt get any red balls and all went well i transferred 28TB in a span of 15days. About 2tb a day. all my drive are XFS now thanks for this post! made my conversion easy!

im in the process of moving my data over to xfs started my first 2tb transfer with rsync last nite im currently running plex only since its only on disk1 and isnt being use by any share i assumed it be slow while transferring but not to the point where its unusable is that normal?? pretty much plex been down since the transfer began if thats the case ill have to time my transfer to avoid this issue lol EDIT: just started my 2nd 2TB transfer. plex seems to be slow but working ok for now my kodi box works fine but does buffer on occasion. ill keep an eye on plex EDIT 2: yea plex doesnt work when moving the files over ive transferred 8TB and plex been down for a few days now kodi is handling way better almost to no difference
