  1. I am also having the same issues. Successuly followed the Settings → Management Access → Upgrade Cert process in your documentation and am now no longer connected to the mothership. Occasionally on the MyServers page at Unraid.net the connection momentarily shows as connected, but is otherwise as pictured below.
  2. Apolgies I'm not quite following what you're suggesting I need to do. Could you elaorate for a relatively unskilled Unraider?
  3. So after a few days of checking on this usage has grown only 1% from 23 to 24%. I have also checked the paths on all of my containers and they are all pointing to the appropriate shares on the array - nothing directed towards the flash drive. I thought I'd check in to see if you had any final thoughts? And also to say thanks again for your help!
  4. I could see the drive on a windows machine, although when I pugged it in Windows wanted to correct errors on the drive. I let it do this, and it then went through its process and declared no errors were found. From there I accessed the drive as normal. I then tried booting from another USB port on the server and hey presto it's back. I have attached diagnostics, but not sure if they will tell you much. I have also stopped both Tdarr docker containers for now as I have noticed they seem to push the CPU usage to 100% at times, altough not sure of memory. If any container is causing an issue, my gut says this will be it. Any advice on how to troubleshoot from here? themagiceye-diagnostics-20220923-1131.zip
  5. BIOS has been set to boot in legacy mode since first setting up the server. Seems the USB flash drive isn't being picked up by the BIOS - it's not listed in the boot priorities as an option. I do have a flash backup via MyServers that says its from last night at a time when the server was definitely still working. Should I restore this onto a new USB drive or try other things frst?
  6. Hi @trurl have just noticed your response here - many thanks. A few weeks have now passed and I've had another out of memory error last night and this morning a server that appears to have hung. Unfortunately didn't see you post until after I reset the machine today so cannot get Diagnostics via the terminal. The reboot doesn't seem to have helped in this case as I am still unable to access the GUI. Have tried installing Putty on a local windows machine as per instructions and then SSH into the server but I get the following error: Network error: connection timed out. There is no dialog about the host key as the wiki suggests on a first time login. Kinda freaking out so hoping you might have some suggestions on what to try next. Thanks in advance Edit: Have just plugged the server directly into a monitor and tried another reboot. UnRaid doesn't seem to be booting at all - I just end up in the BIOS screen.
  7. Thanks so much, will force myself to read more before posting in future. As an aside, are there stability and/or other benefits to upgrading manually vs via GUI?
  8. Following an update to Nextcloud I am now stuck in maintenance mode. From Nextcloud forums I understand I need to toggle this mode off using something call OCC. To do this I'm told that "OCC must be run as the web server user, and run inside the Docker container." Can anyone advise how this is done in UnRaid? I'm not very strong when it comes to terminal/console syntax so if a copy of a specific command is available that would be ideal. Many thanks
  9. Many thanks for the respnse. I wasn't able to access them as I couldn't access the GUI (unless I'm missing something obvious which is always a possibility!). Ended up rebooting and things have come back to life so far. Diagnostics post reboot are attached although not sure if that will help you much? themagiceye-diagnostics-20220829-1931.zip
  10. Hi all, Noticed Plex and Nextcloud were down today while at work. Returning home I have been able to briefly access a partially loaded Dashboard screen, but then clicking over to Main has resulted in nothing loading at all now. I did notice a bunch of notiifications flash by, one of which was for a toasty HDD. First time this has happened in 18 months of blissful stability so not sure what the best approach is. Reboot or something else?
  11. Hi there, I don't often attempt to connect remotely, but did so today and have the following error message. Any ideas? EDIT: Seems this has fixed itself now - no idea of the cause or the solution. Will leave this here for now in case admins are interested.
  12. Hi there, Fix Common Problems has flagged an 'Out of memory errors detected on your server' error. It directs me to post here with diagnostics attached, so hoping someone might be able to advise if I should be concerned or implementing any kind of fix. Cheers diagnostics-20220417-2331.zip
  13. I've just started getting the same error today - also on 6.9.2 Also posted my diagnostics separately before noticing your post.
  14. Hi all, today the fix common problems plugin shows an "out of memory errors deteced" warning for my server. I've never seen this before, so as per the instructions in the related support thread I'm posting my diagnostics here and hoping someone with more knowledge that me might be able to help. Many thanks in advance. themagiceye-diagnostics-20220320-2246.zip
  15. Apologies if this shouldn't go here - it is Docker related but not specific to any one container, and there isn't a general Docker section AFAIK. I have tried following SpaceInvaders video showing how to route one container through another. It seems to work in principle, as when I check in the terminal using çurl ifconfig.io I can see that the IP address has changed in the same way it does in the video. However I am unable to then access the GUI for container that has been rerouted, despite following his instructions to rectify this to the letter. Any suggestions on what may be preventing this from happening would be awesome - thanks.
  16. Seems I missed this somehow - seems to have fixed the problem. Many thanks!
  17. Hi all - I can see others have been recently having malformed database issues after an upgrade. I have had similar problems, and have restored the appdata files including the DB from my CA Backup/Restore Plugin. I have done this for three different backups going back three months, and all of these are somehow still coming up with malformed database errors in the logs. Am I screwed and need to start from scratch or is there any other steps I might be missing? Cheers
  18. Glad to hear the OS isn't impacted. Is there way to test different containers to make sure they are not vulnerable?
  19. As someone who is far from and unRAID expert or a Dev in general, I thought I'd ask on behalf of all the others like me if there are any major concerns or steps that should be taken re: Log4Shell. I was a little surprised not to see any other posts about this, or something pinned from Limetech somewhere, given the magnitude of the problem. Perhaps that means there's little to worry about, but I'd rather ask anyway than be bitten. If there are any Containers or Plugins that could be a concern, is it not worth collating those somewhere central such as a post like this?
  20. Hi all - my Server is in the living room so I'd like to boot in GUI mode to my TV so that I can then use a Win 10 VM as an HTPC. The typical boot sequence of the BIOS and unRaid is all output via the iGPU over HDMI, but then once that completes the screen goes completely black. I have been trouble shooting this via other forum posts with similar issues (although they all seem to include a blinking cursor in the top right) without luck. Then while messing about by pure dumb luck I accidentally plugged the HDMI cable into my dGPU rather than the Mobo iGPU and low and behold there was the the unRaid GUI! If anyone knows why the boot sequence would be visible via iGPU and then the actual GUI only visible with dGPU, and how to fix this, I would be most appreciative. A few things that may or may not be worth noting: - BIOS settings have the Primary GPU set as the iGPU - The dGPU is not passed through to a VM and is used only with one container: Tdarr - I am using QuickSync on the iGPU for Plex hardware transcoding. Other than that everything in terms of UnRaid config is stock in this area. - I have the 'Intel GPU TOP' plugin installed for managing the Quicksync/iGPU side of things, instead of a modified GO file (Using this also helped resolve a recent issue where the addition of my Nvidia dGPU was disabling QuickSync transcoding on my iGPU).
  21. Yes, this is the kind of thing I am planning - so you are saying that the i7 will be a worthwhile upgrade then, as it has 4C/4T vs 4C only on my 7600k?
  22. Really, I'm surprised to hear this? This won't help with better managing a gaming VM say on 2C/4T while UnRaid and my containers run on the other 2C/4T? My Server build is in an extremely unique chasis - a 1940's timber console radio - so replacing motherbords and all the unplugging and re-plugging that comes with it isn't straightforward at all.
  23. I'm keen to move to an i7 on the Kaby lake platform from my current 7600k so that I can make use of the extra 4 hyperthreaded cores. Is there any realistic benefit to getting the 'K' sku over the non-k? AFAIK the only difference is the clock speeds, which means the non-k sku also has a lower TDP. Leaning to the non-k sku as a result, but wanted to sanity check this with the community. My use case: I currently run Plex (transcoding via QuickSync) and all the usual containers associated with that, as well as Nextcloud. I would like to add a couple of VM's into the mix - one for gaming and the other as an HTPC. It would be uncommmon for both VM's to be running at the same time.
  24. It makes sense at a high level. Thanks again - hopefully in the future this will help some other poor soul who's as perplexed as I was.
  25. And we're back up and running....with QuickSync transcoding!!!! Tdarr also running and making use of NVENC at the same time. My friend you truly are a scholar and a gentleperson. I cannot thank you enough for you time. Is there anything else I should do or monitor or should I be good to go from here?
