    Hey,

i got a Eaton Ellipse ECO 800, but ~once a day it goes on battery for a second and switch immediately back to wall power.

Not sure why it does it, but the notification/email everyday from the plugin is a little bit annoying.

A configurable delay in seconds would be nice 😅

Edit: Reason for the battery kicking in is a "faulty?" Tasmota power plug which sometimes crashes and disconnect the power for a short time, funny that my server not cared before i had the UPS :D

I have a Ellipse Pro 1200, it does the same test. It's a quick check of the battery health. But I don't have any notification for that test.

I always have the problem. losf use lot of CPU for a long moment (even with a 5950X 64GB and only 5 disks). I think it was not here for a moment, but even with 6.12.6 it's here. Very annoying. It's even more annoying because I never see anything else than 0 in the stream counts in the dashboard. @limetech maybe if you don't want to remove that feature (that I personaly don't care) add an option to deactivate it.

XFS ticks most of those things yes, but it is definitely not as good with smaller files. I appreciate that XFS has more features than EXT4, but EXT4 is quite lighter on the system and not everyone uses/needs those features.

Perhaps it does just come down to trusting the familiar, which I don't think I'm alone in that thought, but I feel that having the choice of just a "basic" filesystem still has its use cases.

I don't see any advantage of adding ext4 (con: another choice adds questions).

Yes, that is indeed correct but I've only deprecated the template.

I've deprecated the template because I don't want to maintain it any longer because first I don't use it anymore and second because I don't have control over it (it's basically the official container).

I have now almost 200 containers/plugins in the CA App and giving support for PhotoPrism is really hard for me.

However you are still be able to use it if you've already installed it and nothing should change for you, besides the warning in FCP because as said above it's the official container and it will receive updates and work as usual.

Maybe @CorneliousJD can add it to his repository or another community developer.

What do you use as a PhotoPrism replacement?

  5. Never had any problems with inotify and the default value, until 6.12. It seems that almost all files are watched, so I'm out of the 524288 watches (the default value)

Didn't changes anything that can have an impact I think. a couple of plugins, no settings, maybe it's a updated docker container. But I don't know how I can check what application uses that watches.

so my guess is the issue is indeed linked to the dashboard

Sure it is. I already proved that it's related to the "Stream count" in the "Shares" box in the Dashboard. But it should be stopped when the WebUI is closed (display another tab like Main or Docker doesn't stop it. You really need to close all the unraid's tabs)

I was looking at this exact issue on my Unraid server and saw the command "lsof -0wl /mnt/disk1 ..." (using htop) using 100% of a single core. The solution for me was to remove 2 plugins, "File Activity" and "Open Files". CPU usage is back down to normal.

What I found is not related to theses plugins (that I even don't have). It's related to the Unraid Dashboard page in the streams section. But the 6.11.4 update should have fix this by stopping background processes when all browsers are closed (but not sure it's really fix)

  8. I want to use my 2x1TB + 2x2TB 5400rpm disks on my unraid system, without loosing performance on the 6x3TB 7200rpm array. So a second array is a great solution for that. And I can choose 1 parity drive for 5200rpm array and 2 parity drives for my 7200rpm array. For the people who wants ZFS, they can already use ZFS plugin on Unraid, but we cannot use 2 arrays now.
