    LSI SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 did not recognise a WD8 using the regular SATA Power cable from PSU. "Cutting off" the v3.3 by using a molex adapter did it for me. Drive is recognised and running fine now in my unraid array
