  1. Thanks, @Squid and @Frank1940, Issue seems to be resolved. Yes, I had MacOS interoperability enabled and then did 3 things: 1. switched SMB Multichannel on 2. rebooted the server 2 times 3. created another UNRAID user under a different name Moved the files from my Macbook (most of them pdfs) to the Unraid share and - tata - files stopped turning grey and are fully accessible. Not sure what fixed it in the end, but I even think the latter one had an impact. Will re-engineer that. Many thanks for your quick help
  2. i need to add that this issue started after upgrading to MacOs 15.3.1. Didn't have this issue with previous versions of MacOs
  3. Hi all, I have the above issue on all my Unraid shares. Whenever I copy a file from my Macbook to an Unraid share (SMB) the copied file turns grey in Finder. When I try to open it, it brings the error message above. This does not happen when I copy to a dropbox, a synology or a simple WIndows share. File permissions isn't the problem, as there is full access on both sides. Has anyone run into the same issue? MacOS is 15.3.1 and Unraid is 6.12.10 running on Linux Thanks
