[SUPPORT] pihole for unRaid - Spants repo
seems like support in this read is dead, but here goes: my pihole container stopped working some unknown amount of time ago (i have a physical backup so i only just noticed). the logs say it's working but I can't access the webgui or ping it. I tried nuking the appdata/pihole folder and rebuilding it, that didn't work either. changing the ip address also did not work.

6.12.0 Dashboard, how do I get it back to three columns?
I've been complaining about this and asking for customization option since the first rc. I get 3 columns on a 27" monitors and only 2 on a 24", both at 1080p resolution. Just let the users decide how many columns they want.

Various Unraid issues after replacing CPU + motherboard
I ran two passes, I didn't want to keep the server down for too long. BIOS is configured properly as far as i can tell. I'm just going to grab a new set and rma the old ones and see if my stability improves to preserve up time.

Various Unraid issues after replacing CPU + motherboard
I memtested mine and didn't get any errors, but I'm running out of ideas. I got some budget ram (oloy) though, so it might just be a case of you get what you pay for.

Did new ram solve your issues?

Need help diagnosing crashes
I'm getting random crashes every 1-2 weeks and I can't pin down the culprit. I've run memtest with no errors, and I don't know where to look next. Diagnostic and syslsyslog-192.168.0.3.logog attached. servbot-diagnostics-20230607-1954.zip

Is this still being maintained and updated? The container got an update a few days ago but there are no new commits or releases on the git repo

[PLUGIN] GPU Statistics
I tried to change the refresh rate to 30s (30000) and it's still pinging my cpu every second. I also turned it off entirely but it's still going every second. Do i need to restart the server for this setting to take effect? edit: nevermind - I had the dash still open on a second machine. once I navigated away the setting took effect.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Interesting, thanks for the clarification And thanks SimonF for the config tip
-
[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
This plugin isn't playing nice with the GPU statistics plugin (I THINK that's the culprit). whenever I navigate to dash the nvidia plugin repeatedly hits each of my CPUs cores one at a time at about 30-40% usage. the spike stop when I navigate away from the dash

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
in that case is there a way to disable the plugin? I'm doing some A/B testing with a container vs a vm and i'm just looking for the safest and easiest way to go back and forth.
-
[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
If i have the driver installed but no containers running that will use it, is it still safe to spin up a VM that does use the card?

[Support] Josh5 - Steam (Headless)
I chose windows because of compatibility across all platforms (epic, microsoft, etc) but I haven't looked into if/how people are handling it on steamdeck w/ proton. Thanks for the info, I'll add this to the project list and try it out.

I setup a headless gaming vm a few months ago before learning about this container. For anyone who's used used both what are the pros and cons? Would it be worth my time to switch over?

Frequent overnight crashing, need diagnostic help
can you explain what this means?

Frequent overnight crashing, need diagnostic help
In the most recent crash i got a "Kernel panic not syncing Fatal exception in interrupt" error when the server crashed, a bit of googling led me to someone saying it may be related to VMs (I forgot to save the page, unfortunately). I disabled the VMs after i ran memtest and i've been running without crashing for a few days now. Would still like somoene to go over the syslog and see if anything jumps out - i'd rather not have to always shut down my vms.

Frequent overnight crashing, need diagnostic help
here you go. I thought it would be included in the diagnostic dump. syslog-192.168.0.3.log

Frequent overnight crashing, need diagnostic help
server crashes overnight once or twice a week lately. I've replaced the flash drive already and I'm leaning towards a ram issue but I can't seem to get memtest to run on my motherboard. diagnostics attached. servbot-diagnostics-20230311-0756.zip
