  1. Great use case for PiHole making it even better.
  2. Finally a VPN solution for Unraid that does not involve pulling out ones hair, easy fast and simple.
  3. Yes but replacing the SATA cables does not work, the PSU is a 500 watt gold from bequiet. After a reboot the drive does not show up in a regular report. Since none of the other drives have these problems, one having 3 years of power on time there must be something with the drive. I have 30 days or more to return items so i can with a bit of hassle see if this works.
  4. To keep you updated it happened again, i have attached the report and rebooted. I will also replace the SSD see if that helps since the current one is under warranty. unraid-diagnostics-20201030-1210.zip
  5. Drive is attached via SATA directly to the motherboard, mounted behind the motherboard tray, check the Phanteks Enthoo Lux, back tray on the rear with the SSD mount. http://www.phanteks.com/images/product/Enthoo-Luxe/Black/Luxe-5z.jpg Attached is the SMART report for the drive in question. I've done the short and long SMART test and, I did a full Array scan. unraid-smart-20201029-0113.zip
  6. As i am new to Unraid how would i troubleshoot this other then replace the PSU and SATA? Swap out mobo? i could add in card for SATA ports see if that helps etc. replace the SSD? other mech drives are fine it is just the SSD.
  7. Hello, This error came back while my system was running but everytime i reboot the drive is fine. Other topics suggest the drive is dropping offline but i double checked and it should be fine even replaced the sata cable for it. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be i have attached the report to this topic. Cheers, unraid-diagnostics-20201028-2224.zip
  8. Thanks to everyone i had to redo my Array but it is now working correctly with a cache drive.
  9. Hello, I've been trying to figure out the best way to setup up StorJ nodes using Unraid and using 1 ID per drive. However i can not find a way to install multiple dockers. If i use Windows Docker Doc it goes into a repair loop if i enable Hyper-V if i follow these instructions here: https://docs.docker.com/docker-for-windows/troubleshoot/#virtualization-must-be-enabled. And i can not use Commands when using a basic Ubuntu install when trying to install some software to make dockers work there. But as i have 0 experience i am sure i am missing something. In short what is the best way to setup up multiple dockers in any OS for StorJ and is there any good documentation for it? 64GB OS drive virtual, then pass through Sata on both 6TB drives. SeaBIOS with windows. Intel 10600K, MSI MPG Z490, 32GB of DDR4 running Unraid Version: 6.9.0-beta30. Cheers,
  10. Okay good to know i will have to redesign my setup for it to work better, just curious i would need to get a bigger license for unraid anyway but what counts as a device, currently i am looking to have 1 Parity drive, 2 x SSD for the cache pool, and 8 normal HDD's for the Array.
  11. So besides cache pools SSD do not have a real use(what is fine)So i would have to create a cache pool with the SSD's that ideally would write away the cache on down times? And then move the current allocation on the SSD to a HDD?
  12. My bad i was referring to the cache on the drive itself refering to this drive: https://shop.westerndigital.com/products/internal-drives/wd-blue-desktop-sata-hdd#WD60EZAZ and just using the SSD's as storage for various shares like a minecreaft server i am helping out with. Some of the ISO files for VM's etc. Using HDD's for large volume storage that does not per say needs a lot of read/write speed as well as parity drives. I got room for 5 more HDD's and 7 more SSD drives.
  13. I was thinking about getting a WD Blue 6TB as parity with 256 cache, or something equivalent or with 8TB. SSD is to work from for loading server files not really intended to parity but perhaps as cache drive if that is worth it. Nothing is set in stone as i am getting used to the new OS and just finding my way around it before making things permanent. Moments ago the disk write error came back as requested the output file is attached to this post. unraid-diagnostics-20201024-1613.zip
  14. Okay i will wait for this to happen again and then follow your instructions.
