  1. The k10temp ones are the cpu, the cpu consist of 2 chiplets ccd1 and 2 i see them both in your drop down menu, the tctl is the total package temperature. Set the tctl as the cpu temp reader.
  2. Glad to hear that it is working good , for such a long period whilst it didnt. Well cableing can be a issues, well maybe one cable wasnt all the way in, maybe it was a weird usb thingy, nobody will tell us now try starting one of the two services and let that run for a week or so, do some load on the host, see if it keeps a live.. if so enable the second service, and see how that goes, apply some load to it, and when its staying stable, hurray, you solved the issue, and saved your self the parts cannon
  3. No problems, your welcome, in the past 3 years or so, i learned so much, because i thought unraid would run on anything, but never knew about underlaying, spending countless days on the forums, where most of the time nobody took time to answer, to put something togheter that would work combining diffrent post Well if it works without the docker and vm's you could try enabling one of the services, and try to start a container or vm and see what happens next. The safe mode should disable the plugins indeed, i dont know if docker and vm are also auto disabled, i'll have that too somebody else to answer. Coming back to the C-states, i had reboot moment for an kernel update, i checked my settings, I have c-states enabled, the only difference i could think of is that I use the ASUS provided CPU/PBO settings instead of the AMD provided ones, eg boost duration boost voltage boost frequency etc, check those settings too, maybe they have something similiar build in you could change to AMD or Gigabyte delivered settings If setting is there in the bios for the os used set it to other instead of windows. Also note, backwards compatibility of RAM speed will not mean the RAM will run stable on those frequencies, the RAM is tested on a specified Speed and other settings. Try enabling the RAM profile and test that also. Could be just a small setting thats causing this headache.
  4. Yes expo will mean that the ram will run faster thus the memory controller too, could be that it wants it tho, have you also tried running the server in safe mode after it hangs? Try that one also, if works better and stable, you could try with one service turned on, like vm, see how that goes, if stable turn on docker services, but don't start all dockers, start them one by one with a few days in between, if works keep adding containers untill it locks up, try same again but leave that container or service off and go on, maybe a misconfigured container or vm that could cause issues, also turn on syslog to flash, if it hangs you still would have the log to inspect further, otherwise it will be time for the parts cannon I'm afraid, I would in this case start with power supply, I have a titanium rated psu btw, maybe overkill, but it's one of the most important component to have, without clean power that mobo and chip will suffer, they are really power hungry if able to connect the second 12v cpu power plug to on the mobo And yes asus uses the nct6779d chip, The newer kernels support this out of the box
  5. Try running the system with expo enabled first, and disable the aggressive pbo in bios first and let the chip it self decide when and how much to boost, I know some board manufacturers like to pump the chip full of voltages, maybe the silicon doesn't like that also disable every setting for power management in the bios too, did you check for updates as well for the bios? Strange if you don't see the sensors in cli, could be that the sensors that is being used is not supported oob, but I have to dive in to that, and can get back at you later on the day. Also are you sure all of the disk are OK? I had some similar issues on my old server because of a dying ssd cache disk, what resulted in random reboots, hangs, slow feeling of everything you do on the server.
  6. U could try, I never had one day any issues nor on the official or the Thor kernel like you are describing, but hearing this, I rather check the PSU or ur bios settings. Make sure the ram is expo compatible not xmp, it makes a difference. And also check the temps. I have mine running with a 420mm Aio, because I couldn't find any air cooler that would tame this beast of a chip. I peak at 71 Celsius max load with an ambiant room temperature of 23 ~24 Celsius.
  7. Hi there, So far as i know i have no issues with zfs, although i use them only on cache pools. As of writing this I am also running 6.12.8 with following kernel: 6.8.0-rc4-thor-Unraid+ Haven't got the time yet to upgrade to newer rc6 as it has got newer intel libraries baked in to it. My queue's in my media app's still for 1 week to go, so can test it out next week. Back up the 4 files existing in your flash drive before overwriting, and you should revert back by copying them back, nothing is permanent. Just revert back any vfio's before applying and the reapply them afterwards, just in case if you use them. Have a backup what is important on those zfs pools *** IMPORTANT*** You will loose NVIDIA support I don't care about it as I use the ARC now
  8. I've been using tdarr on windows server and node on baremetal and av1 encoding using arc380 always worked like charm because i couldnt get it working on unraid, so have been messing arround and can confirm that it works using a custom flow and using ffmpeg also does work and getting the same fps as on a windows node. How ever i'm a very noob and i can not get the same results like a json file i used created by handbrake. (it has all the settings i want, like cfr subtitles and audio want to keep and passthrough) If I import the json file, as a custom handbrake command, everything goes as expected till it gets to the transcoding part itself and i get the following error message in the logs: (i cutt out some time stamps to save space) QO3MF2pGX:Node[ARC-A380]:Worker[yummy-yeti]:libva info: User environment variable don't know what it does, but on the test run it's like this after transcode: I still do have to check for quality haven't got the time for yet, I happy that i got av1 working only if i could achieve this with my json files would be perfect. (1 for HDR content and one for non HDR) anyway to let the node use the same driver as ffmpeg probably i915_dri.so or the i965_dri.so so i can use it like i'm used to?
  9. Hi there, I dont think you gonna find what you looking for on consumer grade hardware, because the cpu's deliver 20 pcie lanes for 1 times an 16x slot and 1x times 4x for an nvme drive ( and i think AMD has 24 lanes but also for an extra nvme. rest of the connectivity is handled by the south bridges, but havent seen any do x8 lanes like your hba would require. it would work but probably speed limited by the pcie 3.0 the card is build on and how many data bandwith is used by other devices connected by the same dmi lanes to the cpu. depends on how many drives you want to connect maybe the ASRock Z790 Pro RS is an alternative choise who has 8 sata already onboard quick check on platform check you can see the z770 is limited to 16 lanes: Otherwise you have to look in tho threadripper or xeon lines to have more pcie lanes to use it on full speed. Hope this helps you out
  10. Hi all, After looking for an solution for many many days now, reading all known forums I saw many threads with same issue as I had, so I share with you the steps I took to make the CPU temps shown on the dashboard after many trials and errors. Hope it helps you out too.. My setup is an ASUS TUF X670E-PLUS wifi edition with an Ryzen 9 7900x Before all I'm using custom kernel for Intel ARC compatibility, and am on 6.12.7-rc2 I'm using Thor kernel latest version (more info: https://github.com/thor2002ro/unraid_kernel) Use it on your own risk, and it will break the nvidia drivers if you are using them!! Allright let's begin First open up an terminal window or ssh in to your box. type in sensors and your output should look something like this: nct6799-isa-0290 Adapter: ISA adapter in0: 1.22 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +1.74 V) in1: 1000.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in2: 3.39 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in3: 3.30 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in4: 1000.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in5: 1.03 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) in6: 408.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in7: 3.38 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in8: 3.26 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in9: 3.30 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in10: 1.28 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in11: 1.10 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in12: 1.03 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in13: 208.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in14: 2.03 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in15: 944.00 mV (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in16: 3.38 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) ALARM in17: 1.27 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V) fan1: 590 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan2: 845 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan3: 624 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan4: 604 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan5: 760 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan6: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM) fan7: 0 RPM (min = 0 RPM) SYSTIN: +29.0°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) (crit = +125.0°C) sensor = thermistor CPUTIN: +34.5°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) (crit = +125.0°C) sensor = thermistor AUXTIN0: +66.0°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) (crit = +125.0°C) sensor = thermistor AUXTIN1: +12.0°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) (crit = +125.0°C) sensor = thermistor AUXTIN2: +19.0°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) (crit = +125.0°C) sensor = thermistor AUXTIN3: -61.0°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) (crit = +100.0°C) sensor = thermistor AUXTIN4: +24.0°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) (crit = +100.0°C) PECI/TSI Agent 0 Calibration: +34.0°C (high = +80.0°C, hyst = +75.0°C) AUXTIN5: +12.0°C PCH_CHIP_CPU_MAX_TEMP: +0.0°C PCH_CHIP_TEMP: +0.0°C PCH_CPU_TEMP: +0.0°C TSI0_TEMP: +45.0°C intrusion0: ALARM intrusion1: OK beep_enable: disabled amdgpu-pci-1400 Adapter: PCI adapter vddgfx: 1.46 V vddnb: 1.24 V edge: +42.0°C PPT: 3.19 W nvme-pci-0e00 Adapter: PCI adapter Composite: +28.9°C (low = -5.2°C, high = +79.8°C) (crit = +84.8°C) k10temp-pci-00c3 Adapter: PCI adapter CPU Temp: +45.1°C Tccd1: +36.0°C Tccd2: +35.1°C i915-pci-0300 Adapter: PCI adapter in0: 0.00 V power1: N/A (max = 55.00 W) energy1: 12.39 kJ nvme-pci-1300 Adapter: PCI adapter Composite: +24.9°C (low = -273.1°C, high = +84.8°C) (crit = +89.8°C) nvme-pci-0500 Adapter: PCI adapter Composite: +35.9°C (low = -273.1°C, high = +89.8°C) (crit = +94.8°C) MB Temp: +35.9°C (low = -273.1°C, high = +65261.8°C) Sensor 2: +38.9°C (low = -273.1°C, high = +65261.8°C) If you see something similir like this continue to next step: We're going to create a driver.conf file in the plugin directory (It normally gets created after sensors are being detected but for some reason the sensors dont get correctly recognized on the x670e or the ryzen 7000 series by the plugin or both dont know i am not a coder just a guy trying to fix broken stuff) to tell the plugin what sensors to use for readings In the same terminal window type: touch /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.system.temp/drivers.conf and after that nano /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.system.temp/drivers.conf add the following lines: it87 nct6775 nct6799 k10temp press ctrl + o followed by enter followed by ctrl + x after this go to the plugin page and you should see the 4 drivers listed under available drivers: from here you can go ahead and choose cpu, mainboard, and fan speeds as normally: after choosing the correct sensors (mine looks like this:) don't forget to press the apply button. I tested this on the official kernel and thor kernel both work allthough on the official kernel the nct 6799 doesnt get loaded and the choises will be more limited it will look like this: As you can see only nvme and cpu temps are showing up then. Happy Temp watching on your Dashboards
  11. Hi community, I'm an unraid user for a few years now, and have upgraded and changed my setup a couple of times to get rid of a problem that unfortunately still isn't solved and it is driving me crazy. I've spend hours evenings weekends reading the forum, support pages, and everything i tried didnt give a solution. So i have shutdown the box for a few months to start with a fresh setup with new hardware again, and this time I ask the community for help. So this is my problem: I have a 200\200mbit Fiber connection. I have setup a couple of ssd's as a cache I have no vm's and also disabled in unraid. I run a couple of dockers (20 orso) So when i have a torrent client doesnt matter which one, i tried all of them from the appstore, and i have a sabnzb instance running and plex or emby running, and tdarr at the same time, my cpu will pin its self to 100% and stays here till i manually reboot the system, from everything i read on the forums it has to do with disk i\o. So at this point i thought it could be possible since i was running an industrial mobo with an i7 3470qm mobile cpu with outdated chipset, so i tried it on my desktop pc which is an i7 6gen, so couple of days had no problems so i thought i swap it for now and problem solved cheaply but not in this case, so when i was at work i noticed my nextcloud was not working, so i got home, saw, the cpu on all cores pinned to 100% again. So i was thinking wel this 6th gen must also to old to handle this workload, so i switched over to server grade hardware, x99 chipset xeon e5-2678v3 (12c \24t at 2,5ghz base and boosted tot 3.1ghz) 64gb ddr4 ecc ram 2x m2 nvme drives and al my existing ssd and hdd. Wel first week worked like a charm, had even more resources than i would ever need, but u guessed it by now, problem returns. To solve the disk io problems i added 2 hba cards, since the cpu has 40 orso pcie lanes electricly connected, i thought i split the load from motherboard and pcie sata controller to more you know server grade controllers to do the load, well definitely faster but problem doesnt solve just the same night it crapped at me again. At this point i got so frustrated that i did run the dockers 1 at a time, till it annoyed me to a point i just shutdown the whole damn thing, got my nextcloud temporarily running on a nuc for now. So with the cost of electricity in mind here in Europe, i was ready to go for new more power efficiënt hardware, as the system underload now takes almost 500~550w of power consumption, so i got my self a z490 motherboard coupled with a i5-10400 and 64gb ddr4 ram and a 2tb m2 nvme drive as cache drive. I will use both hba or the single 24p sata pcie x4 controller havent decided on that one yet. I will drop the p600 and use the igpu of the i5 as it is capable enough to meet my needs, at tops maybe 4 stream that may needs transcoding if needed. I will be putting it al together tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime i ask you for advice how do i get a torrent client, nzb client, plex or emby and tadarr running al together without a frozen box at 100% cpu usage? Thank you for reading so far. Unfortunately i have no saved logs to share.

Well my docker containers are up and running didnt change anything, but im still reinstalling them because i can't edit them anymore, just can start and stop and acces webgui. probably because of like you said the templates are missing now, am i correct ? Just trying to understand things, sorry if i ask to much ☺️
  13. Didnt know i could sweat so much and my heart could beat that fast😲 But all is ok now, still have my data, and working my way through the settings and plugins 😁
  14. I'm sorry ☺️ It started all with the same problem 😇
  15. Well i ended up replacing the flash drive after last reboot, the drive just "died". None of the leds would blink or the drive acces through diffrent machines also not worked anymore. I didn't have flash backup, but thats oke, i know what drive is what, and have backups of my docker.img vm's and appdata, so should be no problem Will be having some fun couple of hours putting back al the settings and stuff 😂 But after i'm done i will have a flash backup 🤓 Topic could be closed
  16. Sorry for stealing your topic i opened an new topic, after reverting back really bad things happened 😭
  17. Hi all, I had a problem initially with my servers plugin after upgrade that it didnt wanted to remote connect. I tried to reprovision the ca cert, then all the shit hit the fan. It started first as accessing the GUI with an notification that the connection isn't secure, then all logs wouldnt show no more, webgui, docker container logs all just showing a little popup that closes it self after 3 - 5 seconds. Then i noticed i can see al my files through smb and nfs, but i couldn't download any files or cannot upload any files to any shares. And 90% of the webgui not functioning anymore. So i went to settings > update os > revert previous version because everything was working fine (6.10.2-rc3) Now my array isn't starting, and i cant see no drive no flash in main tab. See picture: so i am kind of lost, any help is much appriciated. ** I cant download the diagnostic files, as the webgui wont let me, also cannot turn on syslog, stickin the usb flash drive in computer gives back corrupted zip files**
  18. How do i revert to previous version ? WEBGUI 90% not functioning.. SSH preferably Fingers crossed:
  19. cant download anything from the server or cannot write anything to the server also anymore Also none of the log functions work neither, They all just show a little popup, blank, and then it closes in 3 seconds.
  20. i can see them when i ssh in to the machine and go to the boot directory and then logs the new logs are red and not openable. Also the usual way i go find my flash drive doesnt working also :
  21. I can acces the GUI indeed, but now it came to my attention that all the default icons in settings as in tools don't show up, but the pluggins i downloaded from community apps do show up. As for the diagnostics, i tried several times with several browsers and different machines, but it doesnt download the log file. There is a pop up showing that it is downloading with an orange close button but nothing downloads.
  22. I have no other issues upgrading to 6.10.3 except that i'm also having troubles with the myservers plugin. Since the upgrade it doesnt provision aan CA cert file. Resulting in the plugin become useless. Infact now i have an unsecured connection while connected to the Unraid GUI. Any helps with this ??

  24. I can't see your attached log file but mine is also unreachable since last update.. Mine hangs on following line: 2022-06-10 21:22:23,734 DEBG 'watchdog-script' stdout output: [info] SABnzbd process started [info] Waiting for SABnzbd process to start listening on port 8080... After this nothing happens. Now reverting back 1 version see if it is coming back up. ** EDIT: Reverting back 1 version does fix it 2022-06-10 21:36:25,946 DEBG 'watchdog-script' stdout output: [info] Attempting to start SABnzbd... 2022-06-10 21:36:27,561 DEBG 'watchdog-script' stdout output: [info] SABnzbd process started [info] Waiting for SABnzbd process to start listening on port 8080... 2022-06-10 21:36:31,186 DEBG 'watchdog-script' stdout output: [info] SABnzbd process is listening on port 8080 (just add: "binhex/arch-sabnzbdvpn:3.5.3-1-03" to your repository line in your docker template if you don't know how to revert back to older version)
