  1. To be honest, I ended up ditching unraid and installed Windows using Storage Spaces instead. Then built a dedicated small form factor gaming machine that's attached directly to my TV. I still stream when I travel but now I do it directly from my gaming machine rather than from a VM. The hours of troubleshooting and aggravation just wasn't worth it in the end.
  2. I can't for the life of me get this to work. Recently upgraded my Unraid Server to the following specs: CPU: 12700K MB: Asus H670 D4 Plus (original bios) 128GB DDR4 Memory GPU: AMD 6950XT Reference model On my old system I was running a RTX 2060 Super for a VM I used for gaming and never had any real issues The transition to the new hardware was fairly smooth. All of my dockers came back up, my other VMs are working that don't have any GPUs passed through to them. It was a basic lift and shift and everything seemed to come back without any issues. On my new system though, I can't get this 6950xt to work in a Windows 11 VM. I'm constantly getting Error Code 43. I've tried turning resize bar on and off, followed several guides (including a write up on this forum from a user with a 5700XT). I've blown the VM away and rebuilt it from scratch. It doesn't have any of the Windows OEM AMD drivers installed and I made sure to turn that off before connecting it to the internet. Current drivers installed are the 23.2.2 Adrenaline editions. Here is the XML of the VM: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='3'> <name>GAMING-VM</name> <uuid>42d24233-497d-a6fc-2d48-2ea7e2c8a595</uuid> <metadata> <vmtemplate Unraid? They're just hit or miss? It seems that other folks have had luck with AMD cards without much tinkering around. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I was able to fix my issue. Well not really fixed but found a work around. It seems like the latest virtio drivers don't play nice with my Windows VM. I was able to install the drivers individually but when I try running the guest services application from the drivers ISO file it tells me it ran into an error and fails. I found that removing my attached vdisks allowed the VM to run fine without any issues but when attaching additional vdisks for storage, that's when the VM would crash randomly. I changed the vdisk bus types from virtio to SATA and this allows my VM to run without any issues. Currently running version 6.9.2.
  4. I'm having the same problem. Everything was fine up to 6.9beta25. Any beta after that (including RC2) my Windows 10 VM will randomly a few of it's assigned CPUs to 100% and become unresponsive. I read in another post that disabling WSD in the SMB settings would help and that has helped make the freezes less common. I was able to game on that VM for a couple of hours but this morning I saw that it ciezed up again at around 8 in the morning (it was idle). Also disabling WSD allows it to sometimes recover. The CPUs will return to normal and the VM becomes responsive. Again, this started happening for me after beta25. If I roll back to that everything works as it should.
  5. I'm having a similar problem. Upgraded from 6.9.0-beta25 to beta30. Windows 10 VM in beta 25 worked flawlessly. When using beta30 the VM will boot and will even run but will then freeze with CUP utilization at 100% on random cores assigned to the VM. Running on an Intel i7 10700K on a Asus PRIME Z490-PLUS with latest firmware. I figure it has something to do with the new kernel? I've even tried blowing the VM away and recreating it, still same problem. If I revert back to beta25 everything works as it should.
