they are nfs and smb share, juste basic share with unraid, don't think it uses unassifned devices... what is the recommended way to make shares?

Hello, I noticed that my servers won't shutdown. after searching a bit, I found it is because of mounted shares. when I order a shutdown, it stops the arraye and then wait's and I can't the GUI. telnet works fine. if I manualy unmount shares, i continues to shutdown and everything is ok. if I unmount before ordering a shutdown, everything works fine. I could make a script to mount and unmout at array start or stop, but maybe there is a better idea? thanks

Hello, I have an issue I don't understand. on an unraid server A, I have a share containing lot's of folder. everything is fine, no problem. on another unraid server B, I have a remote access to my share on server A. I can see many folders, but at least one is missing and I don't understand why. all permissions are good on that particular folder, the only thing I see is that it contains ":" in the name . maybe remote acess don't like that (smb access) any idea?

Hello, I'm having an annoying issue . I don't know why (as everything is successed in the logs) but some video file just after beeing reencoded are not complet. I mean that a 3.4 Gb video could be 50Mo after, playable but have only a couple minutes of video. this could be easely changed is a check of the lenght of the video was done after the transcode. I have noticed over 1000 video corrupted by tdarr since I'm using it. another thing, it would be nice to know witch node took care of the transcoding in the logs. thanks

I didn't take the time to search about the migrating message and kind of forgot about it as it was working. but since a couple of days, I noticed that almost every night, the container is working, VPN seems connected but apps that goes through just don't connect to the net. after restarting nordvpn container, everything connects again. in the logs, I see this : Unstable connection detected! Uptime: 18 hours 15 minutes 52 seconds I'll check if I have something similar every day...

Hello, I have again the "no relevant user found". every time I install NPM, I configure it, everything is ok, and when I come back a month or 2 later, can't log in with this message. I can check in the DB and the account is still there, everything is working, I just can't log in. I can redo the conf, but it will start again just like it did for the last couple of times. I'm thinking of changing app because I have to remeber all my conf everytime I redo it. if a solution exists or anybody has same issue....

I couldn't guess it was the emulated disk, the option was in the array operation menu under the start array button. just like when I add any other HDD. the message just said the data was going to be erased, nothing else.

thanks. following what it says, I guess I have a problem. in my array listing, it says Dsk 14 is emulated but when I check on the disk, is says there is 0 data is it because I asked it to format the HDD? why would it allow to format a emulated disk instead of the physical HDD?

Hello, while changing some hardware, a HDD disconnected from unraid. so on next boot, it marqued it as failed. no prob, I've got 2 parity disks. obviously, turning the server off and plugging the HDD back in does not work. what I've done, unplugg the HDD, put it in a windows case and format it (ntfs) so that unraid can see it as a new HDD and do it's rebuild. but it's a fail, unraid won't event format it to it's need (and preclear doesn't want to see it). what can I do to make him rebuild my array?

on my side, the EPC does not solve the issue with ST8000VN0022 I have to add sata card 😕

Hello, same issue again "Invalid Username or password." last time I disactivated MFA and it worked. I have just tried playing with MFA again with no luck. any ideas? edit: using :master constainer seems to work

same for me, cut MFA in nordvpn account and worked again.... hope they solve the issue fast

found the issue. it was behind a VPN and it seem to cause the problem. removing the vpn solved the issue

Hello, is there a way to see what version of a container we are running? it is anoying to search everywhere to find what version we have. It would be realy nice to have it clear in the docker section just like the plugins thanks
