Hi I manage to install Hamachi to my server running v5.0 RC3. I install 'LogMeIn Hamachi' on my windows 7 PC. created a network ID, when I try join to my unRAID, enter Network ID: as the nickname gave in 'hamachi set-nick NAME', then leave the Password blank. It would not join, saying I need password .. help please

Hi Thanks to Joe L. I manage my first preclear disk. Can some kind person tell me if my old drive is acceptable for the array, as it's now 1 drive missing and I do not have the money for a new drive. OMG .. I have totally miss read the "Yes" clearing now thanks.. How many times should I do preclearing ??

Hi unRAID v5.0 rc3 I have buid my unRaid server without Preclearing any of my first 3 drives. I brought the PLUS key to add another drive, I tried preclearing that drive, but keek getting "Clear Can NOT be preformed", so I went ahead , assigned the drive to the array. After copying some file, I get read error from disk3, the new drive..so I took it out. Now I want to replace it with a old SAMSUNG SpinPoint T166 series, 500G , it's bigger that the faulty drive.. I am using Preclear_disk 1.13. I done a '/boot/preclear_disk.sh -l' to list drive, I found it as '/dev/sda' put in 'Preclear_disk.sh /dev/sda' it get the drive info comes up When I put in "Y", I get 'Clearing will NOT be performed' ... please help

Thanks dgaschk for all you help. I went through all the steps again from begin to end on how to build a unRaid server.. I've found I forgot to include disk2 in the Setting tab, "Include disk(s)", What a noob !!! transfering again the folder of 550G of data... thanks again

Restarted my server this morning.. My disk1 only have 209.44M free, I am trying to copy a file of 1.2G.. I now tried using window copy/paste in the server dir, but it still say not enough free space.

thanks for the quick reply I've change it to 20Gig now, my disk2 still does not have the dir called Movies.. still can not copy , cause disk full..

Hi I am a newbie to server & linux, so please bear with me.. After rebuilding(3) times , reading, and searching, I manage to get my unRAID working and watching movies from my TV.. :D I am on unRAID v5.0 Rc3, with 2x500G HD, this morning I added a 250G HD to the array, formatted and everything seem OK. It shows up in the main screen as disk2. So I tried to copy over 550G of films to the server folder Movies with TeraCopy. It just fill up the 500G HD then stop, cause it ran out of space. I thought that the films would automatically copy to disk2 as well. I have my share as : Name: Movies Comments: Allocation method: high-water Min. free space: 0 Split level: 4 Included disk(s): disk1,disk2 Excluded disk(s): Share empty? No NFS Security Settings Export: Yes Security: Public SMB Security Settings Export: Yes Security: Pubilc PLease help...

In unmenu, pkg manager, I can see "minidlna (lightweight DLNA server) 'Currently Installed (in blue)'. I have a Samsung TV, when I select the source bottun on the remote, I can see the little penguin and "unRAID". After selecting it I get 2 folders, 1 - All Video, 2:- Folders, both are empty. Can anyone please ??
