The folder I lost is called LATEST. I also lost one a week ago that I seem to remember was called video clips but I can't find that one

Well, I managed to do the syslog thing and I see the name of the latest missing folder and 39 in parenthesis, does that mean 39 files, or? ANywy, now that I have the log, what's the purpose of it?

Ok, the question was mostly, if it IS feasible that it could happen. That I erase ONE important folder, ok but TWO...although it IS possible, I've also seen stuff happen to me that should NOT be possible. Thanks

Yes, I am being serious and either I need to stop taking whatever drugs I'm taking so that I stop deleting my own folders or there are gremlins in my system. Note, this wouldn't be the first time stuff happens to me that's NOT supposed to be possible. Anyway, I keep losing folders with stuff I didn't want to delete and I'm wondering, is there a way my server somehow deletes stuff by itself? Yes, I have been deleting and consolidating files and of course, the most logical answer is that I deleted stuff but the question above still stands. Is this at all feasible? Thanks George

I also have a harmony (some damn model..?) and it does work great. The logitech account where they store your settings is the best feature. As for apple products, after having bought an iPhone, I can't see myself getting another APple product unless I had no damn choice. I hate'em and their proprietary bull$hit. George

I'd like to hook up with people that can help me with my equipment when I have problems. Everyone I know is too damn far away and all I can find here are a bunch of d***heads that are great at charging you but not at actually doing anything. I just spent a small fortune (for me anyway) to have my computer hardware reinstalled into another case, upgraded to win7 and my drives put into a raid 5 inside. Right now, the computer runs like shit and I still haven't gotten my unraid up and running. Correction, it IS running but not connected to the puter. Also, any capable computer builders that can figure out what the hell is wrong with my system? I can of course pay if I can afford it or trade for services that I"m good at or maybe stuff. Nope, no worky. It's at the place where it's asking for login and password so it won't let me do anything. I Do think my router is screwed up 'cause I can't get online when connected with it. I just tested back and forth. Also connected the server straight to the puter but that didn't work for me either. Just thought I'd let you know. Thanks

Guys, I just had my computer redone and tried to get the unraid online. Everything's connected but it wont' show up on the network. When it boots up, I get some messages or rather, the text that scrolls by and although I can't see it all, I get some stuff saying something about errors or files missing or something. One of them said something like this "HDIO get identity failed" Any ideas? Thanks George

Well, the guy that built my unraid recommended the 655 to me and I got it from newegg a week ago when they were 65 bucks and so far, it's been running like a banshee so I'm happy. Before that I got a gigabit router (router only) but that gave me a problem so I'm sending it back.

Hell, I thought it was 7200 rpm but I'm sure whatever you say it is is right.. Yeah, the hotter/faster drive is supposed to be moved anyway. It was just temporary 'cause I ran out of space (already)
