  1. OK, OK! I did it. Maybe it'll help someone having the same problem as me. So this is what i did. I had mounted these two drives before adding them to the array. (I don't know why lol) So, I took them out of the array, unmounted them and added to the array again. And then formatted. It's working now!
  2. Hi, I've shucked two drives, added them to my server and I have this unmountable partition error. I tried formatting the drives (I had the same problem with the the drive I added before these guys and it had worked after formatting.) but it didn't work. I'm attaching the diagnostics, can someone please help FYI - I haven't pre-cleared the drives. Don't know how to do it. And I've added all the drives before these without preclearing. And couldn't upload the diagnostic file here, so I'm sharing on google drive: here
  3. @JorgeB Thanks for your help, it was both. I first changed the power supply setting. It stopped again at 20 percent. Then I changed my ram speed to auto, it's all fixed now.
  4. But my ram speed is 3600, they are not overclocked. I guess then it's power supply setting. Thank you I'll check that setting right now.
  5. @JorgeB So do you think it's my ram speed or "Power Supply Idle Control" setting in Bios?
  6. Hi, I just installed unraid so I'm pretty newbie. I installed unraid, started the parity check for the first time but it stopped at 2% or something. I could access the web gui but the parity sync got stuck (total size, elapsed time, current position, estimated speed, estimated finish). Then I rebooted and tried again and it stopped at 5 percent or so. I tried one more time and it got stuck at 12 percent. So I can't make any progress. Could anyone please check my diagnostics and tell me what's wrong? aytug-diagnostics-20210112-1914.zip
  7. Thank you guys, I've decided to build a new server that just runs unraid.
  8. Or I can just start my Unraid when I'm going to watch a movie? Or else use windows 10 as the main os? And If i use it like this, when I'm on windows, will I be able to see my array drive on my computer? Copy and paste files over there?
  9. I thought it was a software lol so will I always have to run the virtual machine every time I log on to windows? And can I see, copy/paste my files while on windows? Sorry if my questions are too stupid.
  10. Thank you, I'll order unraid when I get my sas card. I hope everything goes well :)
  11. Hi, I'm so new and I didn't know anything about unraid a few days ago. So after some reading I bought this sas card from ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/LSI-6Gbps-SAS-HBA-LSI-9200-8i-9211-8I-IT-Mode-ZFS-FreeNAS-unRAID-2-Cable/124177528488 Then I saw they're selling 9210s and 9211s for the price I paid. Did I pay too much? Is my model too old? And I hope this card will work on my MPG X570 GAMING PLUS (MS-7C37) mainboard on Windows 10?
