This is strange... I created a user/password. Set each disk as private. Hit apply. Next to my user name, I selected Read/Write. Rebooted the server. 4/5 disks display a user/pass prompt, but when I enter my user/pass it doesn't work. 1/5 disks doesn't ask for a user/pass. It just says I don't have permission to access.
-
The reboot fixed it. Thanks! Can you tell me the difference between Secure and Private?
-
Anyone can access.
-
The name is different from my Windows logon. I do not use a password for Windows.
-
Yes, I created a new user and assigned read/write access.
-
Thanks for the quick reply. I tried both the Secure and Private security options, but I'm not being prompted for a password when I try to access the disk.

Hello, I currently have five disks in my unraid server. I would like to password protect them, so they are not available to everyone on my wifi network. I am not currently using the "share" feature. I just have five disks listed as: disk1, disk2, disk3, disk4, disk5. I read though the tutorial and came acreoss the "User Level Share Security", but I cannot find the setting to enable it. I am using UnRaid Server Pro, along with SimpleFeatures plugin. Thanks in advance!

Please disregard. I found the answer I was looking for here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=18157.0

Midnight Commander is not displaying properly for me. Has anyone else experienced this?

"SimpleFeatures" Plugin - Version 1.0.11
ssean replied to speeding_ant's topic in User Customizations
I'm running into an issue here. After adding the plugin files to my thumb drive and rebooting, I'm receiving the following errors: wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' wget: unable to resolve host address 'unraid-simplefeatures.googlecode.com' Welcome to Linux 3.4.11-unRAID (tty1) I found a workaround in the another thread which recommended running the following command: installplg /boot/config/plugins/simpleFeatures.core.webGUI-1.0.5-noarch-1.plg This worked and I now have the updated GUI, but the plugins are not loading and I'm still receiving eleven "unable to resolve" errors as before. Here is a screenshot of my plugins folder. Thanks in advance for the help! -

Hey guys. I'm new to Unraid and just got my first build completed! I just finished pre-clearing two disks, and I'm somewhat confused by the results. Any help would be appreciated.
