Looks like they added this to the Known Issues: Known issues Call traces and crashes related to macvlan If you are getting call traces related to macvlan (or any unexplained crashes, really), as a first step we'd recommend navigating to Settings > Docker, switching to advanced view, and changing the Docker custom network type from macvlan to ipvlan. This is the default configuration that Unraid has shipped with since version 6.11.5 and should work for most systems. Note that some users have reported issues with port forwarding from certain routers (Fritzbox) and reduced functionality with advanced network management tools (Ubiquity) when in ipvlan mode. If this affects you, see the alterate solution available since Unraid 6.12.4.

When you are talking about macvlan, are you referring to setting up the networking as something like this? Custom: br0..etc? Instead of setting it up as a bridge? If so, I am sure that I have some Custom: br0 interfaces setup. As for the memtest, I knocked it down to 2 sticks of RAM, and then switched them out for one another and ran the test again on the other 2, for the total of 4 sticks. Current version: v6.12.6 The crashing has been happening since around/before: v6.11.x I've been running unRaid for the last few years on a Dell r720, but it started crashing every few days, so I decided to upgrade to a Dell r730, and now it is crashing within 24 hours of every single reboot and/or startup. It seems to be a random time every single day, and randomly within that 24 hour period after reboot and/or startup. All of my drives show healthy. I ran a MemTest on the v6.12.5 version and it passed with zero errors. I have the syslogs sent over to another unRaid server from this one and either it doesn't send out anything weird, or there are just normal messages that don't appear to be errors from a crash. I've been going through all configurations and nothing really stands out as a reason for it be suddenly crashing like this at random times. Any help as to some troubleshooting steps or just next steps at places to look for issues would be kindly appreciated. Thanks.

I was able to upgrade to 6.11.3 from 6.11.2 without having to do it manually! It appears that the upgrade/fixes that were instituted worked like a charm. They did seem to stall a bit, and I was curious if it was actually doing anything, since there wasn't anything happening on the screen, but I am assuming that it was trying to access the cdn, had a time limit on that, and then moved over to the non-cdn link, and then started the download/install. That "stall" was it trying to access the cdn first before hopping over to non-cdn. Still, worked 100%, and the install was flawless. Thanks!

Yeah, I was able to manually update the first server the other day to 6.11.2. I've just add issues trying to update the 2nd server to any other version higher than the 6.10.1 that it's currently on, as it just won't boot once the new version is on the flash. I'll work through it, though. Thanks!

I see in the 6.11.2 version the following changes: Changes: If plugin files cannot be read from CDN URL, the download falls back to the non-CDN URL. Enforce plugin files must end in '.plg'. Fixed post hook failing when plugin download fails. Adjusted the wget parameters to keep it from indefinitely hanging. That's awesome to see that this was added in. I was able to do a lot of plugin copying/editing and finally got one of my servers (the one I was sending debugs from) to update to 6.11.2 after deleting out the .cdn locations from the .plug file. That server seems to be doing well, so we'll see how any future updates go since the changes have been implemented in the latest version. My other server was having major issues updating from 6.10.1, but we'll see how a try to 6.11.2 goes. I just wanted to say thanks. I appreciate the time/effort you all took on making things happen. On the 6.10.2 box I was able to do this just fine and the My Servers plugin was able to install. It also worked on the 6.10.1 box as well. I'll wait a while to update the OS to see if there's a fix prior to that to make it easier. Thanks a bunch!

Again for troubleshooting purposes I disabled all packet filtering and my pfSense firewall so that all traffic was able to come and go freely. Still running into the same problem.

Just for troubleshooting I changed out my DNS so that it was no longer Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1) and moved it to Google (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4) and it is still doing the same exact thing. Still just stalls at the cdn plugin/installs.

Yeah, I see what you're saying there. I haven't done that before, but I imagine it would be possible. However, that's just a quick workaround that won't help with future updates/patches/installs of plugins or OS. I am definitely looking for a more permanent fix.

Yeah, something that I was going to add to my original post was that I checked the date & time / NTP on both servers and they are exactly on time/date. Definitely one of the first things that I checked after reading through a bunch of posts in here. Thanks for the thought and idea, though!

Well, they are usually linked to a specific URL, so they aren't housed on the server (as far as I'm aware) in any way. I'm glad that you've been able to fix stuff via a reboot. That's awesome. Just as a note, I took every single link that had cdn in it and just removed the cdn to make it work. However, the script on the back-end (or in the plugin itself, etc..) adds in the cdn later on in the process, so kinda' stuck after that.

I can download the non-cdn URLs from anywhere on my network just fine, and that's also including non-unRaid computers/servers. No matter which computer/server, browsers, etc.. that I try the non-cdn URL works fine, but the cdn URL just hangs/stalls. The only thing my firewall/router has rules for are to change the port 80 and port 443 to different ports. There's nothing else really in there to block anything at all, and nothing else that I do on my entire network/servers/etc.. has any other issues other than this. My DNS servers are 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 -- which are Cloudflare's DNS servers. Running Version: 6.10.2 & 6.10.1 on two separate servers, both with the CDN issue: I've been running unRaid for a couple of years now and only over the last few months the My Servers plugin just stopped working. Then when I try and update my OS on either version, it just stalls out when hitting a CDN-based URL. I've tried copy/pasting the links to update the OS into the plugins as well, but same problems. So, I can't update the plugin or update the OS at this point, but I'm having zero issues getting anywhere or doing anything else withe unRaid. I can still update dockers, most plugins, apps, etc..
