  1. Yes, had all of that set. Disabled C-State and set the Power Idle Control. Attached is the log file, as well as a photo of the screen attached to the server. syslog bojangles-diagnostics-20221116-2020 (4).zip bojangles-diagnostics-20221117-2256.zip
  2. Have a very unstable Unraid setup at the moment. Was usually only having it crash/stall once a month. But now I cannot keep it running. Worried that the constant hard resets and reboots are going to take it's toll on my server components. Full disclosure: I am a novice when it comes to UNRAID and followed this forum and many youtube tutorials to get this up and running. Have loved it, but since it has usually been stable, i lose knowledge of how things run. bojangles-diagnostics-20221116-2020 (2).zip
  3. thanks @jonathanm i found that same thread yesterday and changed the idle state Power Idle Control, but didn't come back and disable C-states. So far that seems to have knocked things into shape so far. Currently transferring 918GB and it's running smooth at the 250GB mark. Keeping fingers crossed, but looking promising. Big shout out to @JorgeB for his post above, thanks guys and thanks to this great community for the quick responses on all of my posts, much appreciated.
  4. some more information to add: after having a transfer stall out via local network, i noticed the CPU usage looks like this (see below) and UNRAID functions very sluggishly until it degrades to not functioning. I am doing some more research the more I am finding out. bojangles-diagnostics-20210110-1904.zip
  5. New to UNRAID and linux in general, so pardon me if a fix seems obvious but i am slowly learning how everything works in this environment. I have figured out most everything with a ton of help from this community. But now the biggest issue I am running into is trouble with moving large amounts of data to my array. They always start and get through around 30-50GB of data before crashing/stalling out. I have tried over the network (crashes server), by connecting directly to my server via USB 3.0 and 3.1 (crashes or stalls out) and directly through an internal SATA port (same result, crash/stall). I have been using Krusader and figured there was some sort of compromise with that and my setup, but squashed (so i would assume) that with trying to do a network transfer via my Mac using finder by logging into my share and copying. I am now stuck and it will take an eternity to transfer roughly 6TB of data to my array. Attached is my diag file, any help would be greatly appreciated. bojangles-diagnostics-20210110-1822.zip
  6. great, thanks for the response @Frank1940, i will do some more digging, but I have looked through most of those search results and they were concentrated more on not seeing devices, which has not been an issue for me. I can see unassigned devices without issue. the problem i am having is when I try to copy from an unassigned drive to my array, i run into my system locking up or krusader giving me a "stalled" message. either way, both require a restart and trying to pick up where it left off before it crashed. oh and it just stalled again at 17% of a 735gb transfer
  7. just happened again...frustrated and disappointed as I have been trying to copy over files all weekend, but have been more diagnosing than actually copying.
  8. setting my first UNRAID up to use for Plex, trying to copy media from a 2TB hard drive via USB and/or SATA to my array, but it keeps stalling out or locking up. It either shows that it has "stalled" in krusader or it just locks the whole system up and then i have to power down and restart. I have tried so many different configurations trying to narrow down the problem. I am a novice at running UNRAID so it's been somewhat difficult for me to troubleshoot. i can do a small transfer of up to 50gb worth of data and it seems to work, but once i try to do a whole batch of MKVs, it locks up or stalls out. any help would be greatly appreciated. bojangles-diagnostics-20210110-1458.zip
  9. Thanks for the quick response. I will take a look.
  10. First off, i am a complete noob when it comes to UNRAID, this is my first experience getting this all set up. My main goal is to get a Plex media server running. Some specs below: - Gigabyte A320M-S2H - Ryzen 5 3600 - 16GB RAM - 2 - 8TB HGST drives - 2 - 6TB IronWolf drives - 256GB nvme drive for cache - 240GB Sandisk SSD for cache Was planning on using one of the 8TB drives for parity. Got it all setup up (twice now) and ran it. Both times say it will take around 8-10 hours. I come back an hour later to check, both times, and the system is locked. I can't access at all. I end up restarting and both times i get "Parity is degraded: one invalid device" on the dashboard and a yellow hazard symbol next to the drive that says the "parity is invalid". I have looked on the forum for guidance or possible issues, but with no luck. I have no idea what the issue could be, so that's why i am here. Diagnostics attached. Let me know if i need to provide any further details. bojangles-diagnostics-20210107-1111.zip
