  1. You would be better off asking in the General Support subforum. https://forums.unraid.net/forum/55-general-support/
  2. @ich777 - Good to see you. Hope the time away was for a restful and enjoyable holiday.
  3. @dorgan - Just got around to updating this plugin. Been running it for years, and it has always worked for me without any issues. OMG! This rewrite definitely brings it to the next level! It looks fantastic. All of the info one could possibly want, all in one place (two, if you have the dashboard widget installed as well as the tab). And it all looks great. Thanks for your work on this.
  4. Yes. There are a number of them on eBay that can save you some $$$. Open box and even used are pretty low risk, especially if you buy from a high(er) volume seller. Many times these are cards included with systems to business clients that were immediately upgraded, and even used cards were normally lightly used, as no one is mining crypto with these.
  5. My opinion is the Nvidia RTX A400 is the best value for transcoding video for a typical home video server. New is as low as $200 USD, used and open-box easily found for less. Single slot, 50W max power and gets all of its power from the PCIe slot (no extra power cable). I replaced the Quadro P400 in my server not long ago with the RTX A400, as Nvidia is no longer supporting the Pascal based cards in their drivers. This eventually trickles down to applications as well, when a product has reached End Of Life. There is the Quadro T400 that was released between the P400 and A400, but it won't be too long before that is EOL as well. The pricing between the T400 and A400 (comparing 4GB cards) are about the same, so the RTX A400 is the best value.
  6. What I know is I fought with my APC UPS to reset it when connected to my Unraid server. Connected it to a Windows laptop, used their app, no more problems. I didn't get into the "why?".
  7. Connect it temporarily to a Windows machine, and use APC's PowerChute program to reset the battery date.
  8. This GPU is basically worthless for transcoding. Nvidia has End Of Life support for cards Pascal and older.
  9. Did you reset the battery install date (or whatever your brand of UPS requires) when you replaced the battery. APC requires doing this, else it retains the status of the previous battery.
  10. Having run Ryzen CPUs since I preordered a 1st gen, I would recommend any B350 or B450 motherboard for your 1600. The B series is the mid-grade chipset - I would avoid the budget A and the deluxe X series, as the former are always a bit questionable and the later overkill, especially for a build with a very old CPU. The B450 will be cheaper to buy new right now, where the B350 used could be much cheaper (free, if you know someone who upgraded and is generous). Be careful with the latest B550. It supports features (such as Gen4 NVMe drives) which your CPU doesn't support, but in the process some motherboards have BIOS which have dropped support for older generation CPUs. You need to check the manufacturer's documentation or you may find yourself chasing issues.
  11. I don't download to iOS devices often, but also have seen this before. I found it does not like when you queue several files to do at once. I would try cancelling the Waiting movie, then retrying again, only that one movie.
  12. Seeing as they are currently selling retail for $300+ USD and not much less on eBay, I would say - stay away. If it seems too good to be true... As you wrote in the beginning - prices are currently crazy. It won't be getting better anytime soon.
  13. In your original post the screenshot showed your array writes to be just over 50MB/s, which I replied is pretty typical (and aligned with what I see on my server). Ignoring what AI told you (as its answer doesn't directly answer what you are seeing), 20MB/s is not typical. Things that can influence this are other activity taking place on the array (reads or writes from another source/application) or something related to your source (you mention coming from a VM). I would try copying a fairly large file internally on the server, such as from a pool drive (SSD/NVMe) to the array, using the native Unraid file utilities. This would help narrow down if the issue is you array or the mechanism trying to copy data.
