  1. Thanks for the reply! I did expect a little overhead, but not a 1/3rd. I also did the transfer using Krusader within Unraid, no Windows is involved. The CPU is an Epyc 7742. I've tested the drive's Q1T1 performance, shows 5GB/s write: It is what it is I guess.
  2. Also, I'm copying directly via /mnt from one gen3 nvme pool to another gen4 nvme pool, both are btrfs raid-1 filesystems, and this is the speed I'm getting: When I clear or balance the pools I get the drives rated speed. Any idea why I'm getting 1/3rd of the speed? Thanks
  3. Yes, I do not mount them when passing-through, I also mark them as pass-through in UD prior so I don't accidently mount and pass at the same time. I'm trying to understand, why did I need to press the two-arrow button? I thought that every time I open the MAIN tab UD does a refresh automatically, isn't that the case? What does the two-arrow button do that the MAIN tab refresh doesn't? Just trying to understand. Also, how often should I use this button? Thanks again for all the help!
  4. Ha, it was that easy? Didn't even notice the icon... It did clear up the duplicates, shows the correct filesystem, and now I can mount them I'm using two quad NVMe PCIe controllers, one Gen3, one Gen4, and also using the two NVMe ports on the motherboard, so 10 in total. I tried using an octa NVMe controller (Highpoint Rocket 1108) but since it uses a PLX (the other two cards do not, the need motherboard bifurcation support), I couldn't get any of the drives to passthrough to a VM since they were all in the same iommu group. ACS did not help.
  5. Dang you're quick! Attached. selanas-diagnostics-20230921-2012.zip
  6. Hi, I'm having a weird issue with the drive listing: Some drives show the 0UDEV thingy and cannot be mounted. They are all formatted ntfs (formatted in a Win11 VM). In UD they appear to show xfs as filesystem, which they were prior to doing the Windows ntfs format. Some drives are listed twice: Venom is shown as Dev 10 as well as nvme3n1. Any idea what is going on? Any logs I can pull? A reboot clears up the duplicates, but the 0UDEV thingy still remains. Thanks!
  7. Hi @ich777, I'm getting an error when trying to update un-get: This is the sources.list content: Any idea why it can't update? Thanks
  8. I've tried a Windows 10 install, same results. Max transfer between Gen4 NVMe drives is around 1.5GB/s. Upon further inspection, HWInfo64 reports the drives operate as Gen2 with max link-speed of 1x (5 GT/s): The Red Hat PCI-to-PCI bridge does show Gen4: Power mode is set to Performance. It seems that the HWInfo data is wrong since I'm getting higher speeds than the pcie Gen2 allow. I've benched the drives using Samsung Magician: I think I will also reboot the server and do some bare-metal testing outside of Unraid. Thanks
  9. Hi everyone, I'm creating an image from a physical NVMe drive to another NVMe drive. Both drives are unassigned, both are Gen4. This is the command I use: Dev 7 (direct), to Dev 2 (unassigned share): As you can see, it transfers @ 160MB/s, should be 6GB/s at least. When I passthrough the drives in a Win11 VM, they bench as expected, 6/7 GB/s. Any ideas? Thanks
  10. Hi, I just installed an Highpoint Rocket 1108 card with 8x NVMe drives. I cannot pass any of the drives to VM's. Here's what the device looks like: I tried adding ACS_OVERRIDE downstream but that didn't help either, they are all still in group 30 after reboot. I also tried binding 83:00.0 NVMe to vfio but VM won't start either. I have an Asus NVMe card which is natively split without any overrides: Any idea how to get the Highpoint to split into groups? I have some drives used in cache pools, and the others are used in VM's. Thanks!
  11. Yep, that did it, thanks! Do i just add that command to the go-file? How do i get it to 'stick' after reboots? Thanks
  12. WOW, you da man! I used to have the Pack for years, but since it was deprecated i switched to Tools. It's been broken ever since. I uninstalled python2 and iotop, then install python2, and finally iotop, individually in that order, and now it works! But now I'm getting a warning when iotop runs: Any idea how to fix that? Thanks
  13. Hi all, still having issues with iotop, it refuses to work: I have reinstalled Nerdpack to no avail. I have python installed: Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks
  14. How about 'FolderView' or 'UIFolderView'? I don't think DockerFolder and the like is suitable since it doesn't apply to dockers only. It also works on VM's and maybe in the fufure on other elements.
  15. Try this:
  16. VM issue fixed, per @scolcipitato I just had to reorder a VM then refresh the tab, and now the VM folders show up.
  17. Is v2023.07.27.1 the latest? I checked the console outputs and they are identical as to before.
  18. I installed the plg file from your original post on pg. 31. Same issue, all the VM's are listed and no folders showing. Is this update from a different location? I used this one: Plugins update page shows:
  19. Do i need to uninstall and reinstall and start from scratch? or just reinstall the same plg file?
  20. It's not working for me in VM tab. I added a new folder yet it doesn't appear at all. All I see is a straight-up list of all VM's, as if there are no folders created. The only difference is when I go to add a 2nd folder, the ones I already added to the 1st folder do not appear in the toggle list. So the code is aware of the assignments but no folder is shown in the VM tab. Is there a log somewhere we can examine what the plugin is doing? Thanks
  21. They are, but that means I need to expand each folder to see them, compared to clicking on the container icon and having access to the button. It's no big deal, and I rarely change the startup toggle once set. This will do for now, thanks! @scolcipitato, will you fix the VM tab next? that would be great if you can make both work the same way.
  22. Thanks guys, that worked! Have we lost the ability to click on a container icon and get to see cpu/mem usage graphs and set autostart like in the old plugin? This is what I get when I click on a container icon: Amazing work @scolcipitato, thanks much for the hard work!
  23. I don't see the containers list below the options, only the toggle entries below: I haven't rebooted since installing the new plugin over the old one (didn't uninstall the old one 1st).
  24. Thanks @scolcipitato! I just installed the link you provided over the old plugin, i'm on 6.12.3. When I'm on the docker tab and unlock movement, I still can't drag any of the containers. Do i need to reboot for the plugin to take effect? Or maybe just restart emhhtp?
