  1. Did you try the binhex version of code-server?
  2. Yeah, I wonder why the project is gone... I love it and use it a lot!
  3. Hi, I've updated from rc5 to rc8 and now the shares are inaccessible for multiple machines. I tried to do 'samba restart' but that didn't help. No config has been changed. WebUI is working fine, as well as VM's and dockers. Any idea what could be wrong? selanas-diagnostics-20230612-1245.zip
  4. Oh, but I do see it once I expand a folder:
  5. Uptime of what? Unraid? It is shown at the top-right side of the header.
  6. Odd, I've been running my VM with a 3090 for over a year now and I did not set it to multifunction: I remember experimenting a long time ago and multifunction gave me issues, maybe I misconfigured it. I'll look at it later and see if it makes any difference, right now my Win11 VM is running very smooth. And criticism is always welcome, that's how we learn...
  7. Bingo, 4.8.1 works for me as well, thanks!
  8. Which version did you revert to? I tried going back to 4.8.0 but instead of the error got a prompt to 'migrate' or something is a user/pwd but when I entered my admin pwd it said invalid credentials.
  9. Same here, getting the log-viewer error: I tried what was suggested here but it doesn't work (unless I didn't do it right): https://github.com/LycheeOrg/Lychee/issues/1855 This is a recent breakage, maybe a few weeks.
  10. Would be great if you can post your full XML for future reference for other AMD GPU's. As for the freezing, maybe play with the cpu-features section. Also try with and without vbios in the XML. Also try to set the card to not multifuction and each piece of it on another pci slot in the xml. Or vice-versa: set the .0 piece of the card to multifunction='yes' and then set the .1 piece of the card on the pci slot.
  11. Ok, provide your full XML while VM is off. Also, provide the output from this command: Adjust 85:00.0 to your card (the addresses are listed with an 'lspci' command with no parameters).
  12. Did you add the following params to your xml? At the end before the closing </domain> tag. The VM will not boot if ReBAR is enabled and these params are not added.
  13. Is it just me, but is the plugin completely messed up? I thought maybe it will be sorted out if I uninstall the plugin, reinstall it, then import a backup. Now my folders are out-of-order and rearranging them does not stick, as soon as I go to another tab and come back to Docker tab they are in the original order. I tried editing folders.json and put the order in reverse in the file, which works, but I cannot change the order within a folder, e.g. Yields the following layout: Also, on the VM tab, when I tell a folder to start expanded, it works on some folders but not others for some reason, e.g.: Also, as you can see, I dragged Linux above macOS but the items from the Linux folder stayed where they are, so it looks like the Linux files are also under macOS. The Windows folder is setup like this: But as you can see from above, it doesn't show any items and I cannot expand it,
  14. Two posts up the OP said this only works on Intel, I have an AMD cpu as well, so no-go for us...
  15. You da man! That was it, I only had mnt/user/appdata listed, I added /mnt/cache_nvme/appdata and now everything is getting backed up Thanks much!
  16. Hi @KluthR, I've upgraded Unraid and installed latest plugin. I'm getting a message on some of the containers "does not have any volume to back up". This causes the container to not get backed-up at all. e.g. EmbyServer: Here's my Docker page with Emby: Same thing with AList container: Prior appdata-backup plugin backed up all appdata folders and not skip anything, any idea what is happening now? Thanks
  17. Same thing on RC4, cannot change order within/inside a folder, only the folders themselves.
  18. Does this help? https://superuser.com/questions/1431148/kvm-nested-virtualbox-windows-guest/1589286#1589286 I tried it on my Epyc, initially got same wrmsr errors in dmesg, but after I replaced the <cpu> section i did not get these errors and was able to run WSL and get a command-prompt in Win11. It did screw up the cpu topology though, so you might need to play with it some more and tweak it.
  19. Hi, I'm confused, do I still need to follow the installation steps shown here: I just don't need to replace the kernel files on the usb stick? Does this work on AMD/Epyc or just Intel? Does this work on Unraid 6.12.0-rc3? Does this work for any gpu or only on Intel iGPU? Thanks
  20. For Intel, you just go to ark.intel.com and type the cpu name in the 'search specifications' box (e.g. 'i7-8700T'). It will show you the capabilities at the bottom of the page of each cpu. You can also add cpu's to the comparison list and compare them, pretty neat.
  21. As long as you don't bind the GPU to VFIO on boot, it is available to unraid/docker when GPU is not used by VM (i.e. VM is turned off). From my experience there are glitches where the card is still bound to VFIO even after the VM is turned off, so for me, I just added several GPUs to be used for other tasks and have a dedicated GPU for VM use. If you issue the following command (my VM GPU is at address 85:00.0): lspci -vnn -s 85:00.0 I get the following output: Note the 'Kernel driver in use', 'vfio-pci' means it is bound to it. You can bind/unbind pcie devices without rebooting using the following commands:
  22. Have you isolated some cores to be used only by the VM? in Unraid, goto Settings > CPU Pinning. Try to isolate 4-6 cores (8-12 with threading) and see if you get better performance. Also, it is beneficial if you post your xml (copied while the VM is off). What machine-type are you using? i440 or Q35? Try with Q35.
  23. Make sure you backup your existing XML. Stop the VM, edit the xml by removing multifunction on the card, remove <address> node (not <source><address>!!!), then save the xml and see if you get any improvements. The idea is to have QEMU assign the busses for each GPU component. Also, take a look at this: https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/windows-line-based-vs-message-signaled-based-interrupts-msi-tool.378044/ Run 'MSI_util_v3' and apply MSI to both GPU and GPU-Audio. This is what mine looks like: Also, try removing 'emulatorpin'. You should also try machine type Q35. You didn't mention which CPU you have, but try this feature-set: <features> <acpi/> <apic eoi='on'/> <hyperv mode='custom'> <relaxed state='on'/> <vapic state='on'/> <spinlocks state='on' retries='8191'/> <vpindex state='on'/> <runtime state='on'/> <synic state='on'/> <stimer state='on'> <direct state='on'/> </stimer> <reset state='on'/> <vendor_id state='on' value='1234567890ab'/> <frequencies state='on'/> <reenlightenment state='on'/> <tlbflush state='on'/> <ipi state='on'/> <evmcs state='off'/> </hyperv> <kvm> <hidden state='on'/> </kvm> <pmu state='off'/> <vmport state='off'/> <ioapic driver='kvm'/> </features> If QEMU complains about any of them, just remove one-by-one. Also, try these cpu & clock config: <cpu mode='host-passthrough' check='none' migratable='off'> <topology sockets='1' dies='1' cores='8' threads='2'/> <cache mode='passthrough'/> <feature policy='require' name='topoext'/> <feature policy='require' name='invtsc'/> <feature policy='require' name='x2apic'/> <feature policy='disable' name='monitor'/> <feature policy='disable' name='svm'/> <feature policy='disable' name='hypervisor'/> </cpu> <clock offset='localtime'> <timer name='pit' present='no' tickpolicy='discard'/> <timer name='rtc' present='no' tickpolicy='catchup'/> <timer name='hpet' present='no'/> <timer name='kvmclock' present='no'/> <timer name='hypervclock' present='yes'/> <timer name='tsc' present='yes' mode='native'/> </clock> Add this block before </devices> tag: <memballoon model='none'/> Again, remove any item that QEMU complains about. Finally, if you want resizable-BAR to work in a VM, you need to add the following block at the end (before </domain> tag): <qemu:commandline> <qemu:arg value='-fw_cfg'/> <qemu:arg value='opt/ovmf/X-PciMmio64Mb,string=65536'/> </qemu:commandline> You might also consider using hugepages and reserving them for the VM(s). So just try the different tweaks and see if you get any improvements.
  24. Your GPU is on 23:00.0 and 23:00.1, why are you trying to pass 21xx and 22xx? Here's mine: Each GPU is in its own group, .0 is video, .1 is audio. The TitanXp is excluded from Unraid (vfio-bind), the 3090 is not, but you can see both are used (green dots) in running VM's.
  25. Your GPU is on the same IOMMU group with other devices, you have to get it isolated to its own group (both xx.0 for video and xx.1 for audio). If you have an option in the BIOS to enable SR-IOV try that. If that doesn't help you'll have to go the ACS-Override path...
