Weird crash, some dynamix error, GUI messed up
shpitz461 replied to DivideBy0's topic in General Support
I get the same output for all these commands as everyone else. I will try to reboot later and see if this solves the issue. -

Hi, same issue here, started giving me these errors non-stop after a run of docker-new-params and then running Unbalance to move files between disks: Mar 1 18:25:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:25:31 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices.preclear/Preclear.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:25:42 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices.preclear/Preclear.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:26:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:26:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:27:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:27:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:28:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:28:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:29:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:29:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:30:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:30:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:31:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:31:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:30 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /webGui/include/Notify.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /webGui/include/Report.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/community.applications/scripts/notices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices.preclear/Preclear.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/PluginAPI.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:37 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /webGui/include/Notify.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /webGui/include/Report.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices.preclear/Preclear.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/PluginAPI.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/community.applications/scripts/notices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:40 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:43 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:46 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:46 SelaNAS root: error: /webGui/include/Report.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:49 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices/UnassignedDevices.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:50 SelaNAS root: error: /webGui/include/Notify.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:50 SelaNAS root: error: /webGui/include/Report.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:50 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/unassigned.devices.preclear/Preclear.php: uninitialized csrf_token Mar 1 18:32:50 SelaNAS root: error: /plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/PluginAPI.php: uninitialized csrf_token I tried the 'touch /usr/local/emhttp/state/flashbackup.ini' command recommended in another thread but it doesn't help. Cannot connect to unRaid shares from Windows 10
shpitz461 replied to StrandedPirate's topic in General Support
Are you running a Windows install from official MS ISO? or a customized ISO? I ran into these issues in the past with some slimmed-down Win1x ISO's. What I'm doing now is test a new slimmed-down ISO in a VM before I try it on bare-metal. -
Cannot connect to unRaid shares from Windows 10

@lonebear, did you try this? Also, when you ping Tower do you get ipv6 or ipv4? If you disable ipv6 on the Windows NIC, are you able to access shares? Adding Windows Credential also helps. Also, before you try to map a network drive, try to browse to the share to make sure credentials are prompted for. Finally, your Windows machine is on the same workgroup? -
Thanks! I also saw something about WSL (Windows Subsystem Linux) that is available in Win1x, will give it a shot as well. Worst case I can always access the drive indirectly via SMB.
-
Is there an encrypted Linux fs that can be read on Windows?
-
I formatted the drive to exFat and got the same error. I just ended up formatting it as xfs-encrypted and will access the drive via SMB.
-
It was running as root. I also turned it off and still same errors. I am also getting a similar error with the FreeFileSync-VNC container: Happens with whether privileged or not. The files do get copied and I compared several using a Win11 VM, they are identical. But when I do compare-by-content in the DirSyncPro container it shows they are not identical, so something is amiss. I'll format one of the drives to non-ntfs and see what happens.
-
Sorry for not being clear, I was referring to your DirSyncPro docker. I'm writing from array to external USB hdd formatted NTFS.
-
Hi @ich777, I'm getting I/O Error writing to external hdd's mounted via Unassigned Devices. Is that because the external USB drives are formatted NTFS? Any way around it? I tried mounting them read/write and read/write-slave to no avail. I do have ntfs-3g package installed in unraid 6.11.5. Thanks!

Hi, I've upgraded from 6.9.2 to 6.11.5, and now iotop won't run, getting this error: Any idea what's wrong with my setup? EDIT: (Solution) Reinstall libiff and add "kernel.task_delayacct=1" to /etc/sysctl.conf.
-
Ok, all is well. I couldn't format or preclear via Unraid, got errors, even after i manually removed partitions. What I did to fix it was to just pass it through to my other VM , then used the AData SSD Toolbox to do a secure-erase. I then restored the backup (using Easeus Todo Backup), and Windows won't boot. I booted the VM with a Windows 10 retail disc, went to command prompt in recovery, then ran And all is well, got back into a running Windows 10 install. Thanks for the help @dlandon!

I actually have four of these drives, I checked them all, the other three have normal english text in the attributes. Here's the output from my other pass-through drive: Is there anything you can do on your end to eliminate the issue? I'm going to image it and format, see if it solves the issue. Thanks!

Have you done any tweaking? I followed this guide: https://fasterdata.es.net/host-tuning/linux/
-
Ha, you da man! I already have iperf3 server running in a docker, so I just called your docker client piece, and this is what I'm getting: docker run -it --rm --net='host' networkstatic/iperf3 -c 192.168.1.3 The initial test in the OP was from a VM to unraid iperf3 server docker instance, i actually never tested VM->VM. Now you got me curious.
-
virtio. As far as I know virtio-net is limited to 1gbps. I am running the iperf3 docker server to do the testing. When connected to another pc with the same NIC via a 40gbe switch I get 20-35gbps so i know the network chain is good.
-
Interesting info, thanks @Vr2Io! Reason I was asking is iperf3 shows ~10gbit in both directions: Any idea how to improve that? I get the same speed with multiple streams.
-
Hi everyone, I cannot find an answer anywhere so I'll ask. Is there a way to have the VM network bridge connect @ 40gbe instead of the standard 10gbe? I have an Mellanox ConnectX-3 card that I'm using as eth0 and eth1 (eth1 is disconnected), but any Windows VM I create with virtio bridge results in a 10gbe connection. Here's the NIC's info: Thanks!
