  1. So my shares have been available and not disappeared with all dockers running and not dropping for over 16 hours of uptime. Changes made: Parity check with error correction Added a coral m.2 dual edge to the system. Removed and cleaned containers Cleared appdata and restored containers needed Used permissions & docker safe permissions Restored super.dat and secrets.tdb & config folder. - Disk1 "turned good" and is back up and running as normal and full speed (keeping an eye on this and getting a replacement drive ready) Before restoring my config folder i noticed .FUSE files and remember seeing "Share storage conceptual change" after upgrading to 6.12.4 recently in attempt to bring back the disappearing shares. (REF: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/6.12.0/#share-storage-conceptual-change ) Enabled Permit exclusive shares (containers were giving open file limit errors when disappearing) isolated VM cores. No data loss has been incurred. Still waiting for replacement HBA. Honestly i'm still not sure what the actual reason for the issue was, will leave the system running for a few days and if all is stable, will replace the HBA in preperation for a move. Thanks. arthur-diagnostics-20231111-1443.zip
  2. Tried another power source with and without a UPS still the same issue, awaiting new HBA, trying to rule out any hardware issues as logs shows nothing.
  3. Could a failing HBA be the cause of these types of errors? Perhaps even stuff disconnecting and reconnecting?
  4. Ok so i have ran a parity error correcting check and disk 1 went disabled again part way through again, this was after the cables were replaced. A ssd was showing a few errors but i think i saw that its normal for the CT500MX. hopefully there's something in these logs to indicate where the problem could be. arthur-diagnostics-20231107-1146.zip
  5. Replaced Motherboard & CPU last night issue still occuring. Saw on the forums that someone had a similiar issue and it was their HBA's starting to die. Have ordered a new HBA but won't come for a few weeks. Tempted to try wiping all appdata and starting fresh with important configs copied over. shares are still missing. arthur-diagnostics-20231105-1256.zip
  6. Replacement parts have arrived. First trying a samsung 32GB Bar Plus - manually installed UNRAID and copied over only my config file and logs folder. Server is back up and running, CPU utilization has dropped from around 80% to 20%. Shares still here. upon plugging in my old usb drive, windows asked me to scan & repair the usb drive. Wondering if my old one is could of been the cause of shares going missing. Will leave all containers open and vms as normal overnight to see if shares disappear again before upgrading my CPU or swapping mobo. Would CPU being pinned to 100% cause shares to temporarily shutdown? EDIT: 20:12 shares disappeared again... frustrating because i don't know what the actual problem is or lies. will be upgrading cpu and replacing mobo now to see if it's hardware related.
  7. ah ok understood now. Reseated cabling and HBA's: disk1 is back to normal and working in the array. will run a extended test on it. i have restarted the containers mentioned before.
  8. i see the syslog disk errors but i dont see any SMART changes? All shares disappeared again with all containers running
  9. Woke up today after leaving a parity check to do overnight with disk 1 in error state - disabled and content emulated. rebooted the server around 14 hours ago. disk 1 disabled around 9 hours ago. logs say there's nothing wrong with disk? I have only been running 4-5 containers such as z2m/homebridge/codeproject ai/mosquitto & Plex - these do not make the shares disappear. I am able to run my VM with no problem - does not interact with the array or cache pool. With disk 1 disabled, now trying to see if shares drop with all containers running as needed. arthur-diagnostics-20231104-1034.zip
  10. Tried this script but didn't work for me. still getting open file limit exceeded on all containers. I have a replacement samsung USB drive, motherboard & CPU arriving on saturday. The issue of missing shares and open file limit on docker containers started occuring after i changed CPU & added a new data drive (still needs to be precleared.)
  11. No problem thanks for looking! Looking deeper into this when i try to open sonarr/radarr i get this error while shares are missing: Could it be something to do with the open file limit being hit and shares drop out?
  12. shares missing and containers become unresponsive
  13. It's more than i'm confused as to what keeps making it disappear and reappear. shares have disappeared again. https://i.imgur.com/zTmZnBs.png arthur-diagnostics-20231102-1431.zip
  14. All the shares are back with an uptime of 1hr.20 mins. Changes made since restart: Updated to 6.12.4 - reseated power/sata cable for disk 5. Hard power cycled. I'm now able to access and utilize all docker containers as normal without the shares disappearing?
  15. My Disk 5 is showing: I have unplugged and replugged the data and power cables and restarted unraid. same error still showing
  16. I did see the thread to this potential permission problem but it looks like mine is fine?
  17. I believe so, here’s diagnostics from just now with server being on with the problem occurring overnight. arthur-diagnostics-20231102-1046.zip
  18. Hello, after changing my CPU, and adding a new drive, i have found that im having problems with docker containers making all shares go missing/disappear. in krusader the user folder empties. a restart fixes this for a short period of 10 minutes until shares go missing again. i'm very unsure as to what would be causing this as the new disk is still being pre cleared. Thanks Halt95. arthur-diagnostics-20231102-0109.zip
  19. Hello, i'm having issues with containers not being able to be opened even though they show as started. On Sunday i downgraded my CPU and Monday added another hard drive and sucessfully precleared, added to array. During the CPU replacement i believe my USB drive became corrupt and i restored a backup to get unraid back up and running. (i have a backup of the old usb drive before restoring just in case.) I now have a bunch of containers that are broken. I think after the restore some containers made another folder called user0 and are trying to find data from there? Thanks. Halt95. all shares are missing but still on disk. i'm tempted to restore the shares from a older backup and transfer the files manually to the usb arthur-diagnostics-20231101-1853.zip
  20. Hey, Following up on this, I did SATA cable just incase it was a cable fault however after i ran another quick test on the drive: I also think that the drive might be on it's way out due to the amount of cycles I've ran on this SSD? I did purchase this drive back in Feb 2019. Will run a memtest when i'm home too. Halt95.
  21. Thanks for the quick responses, Wow! I can fix the problems except the download drive, I see there is corruption now aswell, what would be the best way to deal with corruption?
  22. Hello, Just to give a bit of background on how this situation occured, on the 10th Feb, I replaced a dying data drive successfully and was working fine. I am now facing issues with my Download pool/drive not able to delete files or move them. Fix Common Problems shows "Your drive is either completely full or mounted read-only" and I've had a look at Fix Common problems. The Drive is not full either After replacing the drive I did install 2 docker containers. one being disktest and your_spotify but I believe they wouldn't affect my download drive. Tried manually moving using Krusader and dynamix file manager. I've also tried resetting the permissions however no change. I've noticed that after my drive swap, Unraid hangs sometimes too, But that could be because of the drive? Unraid also hard froze on me when trying to move a share to a different pool and had to do a unclean shutdown on the 11th Feb. Attached is my diagnostics. Thanks! Halt95. arthur-diagnostics-20230213-1446.zip
  23. After replacing the adapter with 1 molex to 2 sata adapters. and completing a parity check with additional extended checks on all drives, the system seems stable, parity has no problems running anymore and disks all completed without error. system has been running for 2 days and drives 3,4 & 5 used to usually fall offline after a few hours. Think it's safe to say my issue has been solved! Thanks for all the help and sorry for the late response, was waiting for the parity check to complete. Halt95.
  24. Understood, will be trying 1 molex to 1 sata adapters instead once they arrive tomorrow. disk 3 & 4 came back with no errors on extended test. Thanks for the help, appreciate it!
  25. Hey thanks for the response, running extended tests on disk 3 and 4 now. Running a corsair HX1200 (i upgraded this a month ago.) most disks power is running directly from PSU, psu to 4 sata. except 5 shucked drives which are running one adapter (1 molex to 5 sata) and a icydock 3 bay drive caddy. And I’ve just confirmed thats the drives with errors are the ones 100% on the molex adapter. And even changing the sata cables still provided with read errors, The molex adapter is also 6 years old. Would my next step be to test the drives with another adapter/short the 3.3v pin and use the PSU cables?
