  1. Thanks mate, I'll keep this thread open, really appreciate the help!
  2. Ok, so i tested it in a crosshair MB and it worked fine, going back to my B450 Aorus Elite, and doesn't work. I run a 10GBe NIC just fine. So is it an issue with the gigabyte bios?
  3. Didn't work, did i get the wrong pins? No change
  4. Champ, thanks, will post update, thanks SO MUCH!
  5. Hi, I can do this, but what part exactly? Will post pic. Can you circle the pins to cover please.
  6. Hi I picked up a Silverstone 9217-8i SAS card. ( ECS04 SAS Controller) https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/kvm,-hubs-&-controllers/controllers/70368-sst-ecs04?gclid=CjwKCAjwjuqDBhAGEiwAdX2cj6UkZ1tujPaS2v3l_yFyjPp-iKfQHBlg-PB9IgnFtpj1ucFLhhbl6xoCUc8QAvD_BwE Put it in and computer skips bios, and just sits on a black screen with the flashing line on the top left. From every bit of information I could find it needs to be flashed into IT mode, but no further information on this. TROUBLESHOOTING TRIED; Remove card-system works Remove UNRAID flash drive and bios reset Tried multiple PCI-E slots. Any help is appreciated.
  7. So basically my selected NIC does 10GBe ONLY. No in between. No 5GBe, 2.5GBe. Only 1 or 10.
  8. & shouldn't the NAS say 10GBe not 1? Network: eth0: 1000 Mbps, full duplex, mtu 1500 eth1: 1000 Mbps, full duplex, mtu 1500 eth2: 1000 Mbps, full duplex, mtu 1500 Souldn't the host say eg. eth1: 10000 Mbps
  9. I didn't understand that comment. X540-AT2 haven't 5G support, so if connect with a 5G NIC, then negotiate 1G should be normal.
  10. Sorry, newbie haha
