Pretty new build now stuck at mounting disks
Hi JorgeB, I added and reformatted all drives. I hope it now keeps working. I'll keep you informed. Thanks. Ronald

Pretty new build now stuck at mounting disks
Everything works fine after removing all drives. I use old drives, because they are only for backup, but they are clearly giving issues to the server. Adding drive per drive now, to see how far I get without issues. One of the 3 Seagate drives loves to throw CRC UMDA errors. Tried everything already to fix it. Probably just a dying drive.

Pretty new build now stuck at mounting disks
It looks like the issues happened after adding a Intel X520 10G PCI-E card. I've moved the HBA to the first slot and the NIC to the 2nd slot. The HBA before was in the last slot on the X9SCM-F syslog.txt

Pretty new build now stuck at mounting disks
Hi all, My recently build Backup UnRAID server is stuck on mounting disks now. I don't know what is going on with this machine but it is unstable AF. I cannot even add the diagnostics, because ZFS Status does not continue. Anyone an idea what to do? Thanks.

zpool upgrade, and still Some supported and requested features are not enabled on the pool.
I will, thanks. The pool is also much faster now, or maybe it is my feeling, but copying is faster. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks again.

New build constant internal server error 500 and other network related issues
It looks like Docker is causing issues. Without the Docker services running, I don't have problems. The hardware specs from the unraid backup machine: Supermicro X9SCM-F 16G RAM Onboard 1G LAN Total storage over 9 disks: 25,1TB. BIOS: Intel VT-D and Intel AES-NI is on.

Me neither. I thought maybe something about memory or other issues. I disabled Docker again because before that it was running fine. Maybe something related to that?

New build constant internal server error 500 and other network related issues
OK, I have ' unstoppable copier' running from my WIndows computer, checking for missing files after copying music from my main unraid to the backup unraid. So, SMB share from Windows to the backup server In the meantime, the main unraid server, is copying movies via Krusader, over an Unassigned Devices share between the unraid main and backup server. 2nd SMB share NOW the GUI is down. The Windows copying is working fine, but after login on the unraid backup server, the error HTTP 500 is thrown. Krusader also throws an error that it cannot copy files, so that stalled. Retry on the copy does not work. Diags added. Please I want to know what is causing the GUI to disappear while copying files from 2 sources. The one from 1620 hours is the first one since the unresponsive UI. backuppie-diagnostics-20240801-1632.zip backuppie-diagnostics-20240801-1620.zip

Yes, I first accidentally had one drive in XFS, but changed and formatted to ZFS. All drives are ZFS. Hereby the diag. backuppie-diagnostics-20240801-1436.zip

zpool upgrade, and still Some supported and requested features are not enabled on the pool.
Hi JorgeB, thanks for your help in my both posts. This system supports ZFS pool feature flags. All pools are formatted using feature flags. Some supported features are not enabled on the following pools. Once a feature is enabled the pool may become incompatible with software that does not support the feature. See zpool-features(7) for details. Note that the pool 'compatibility' feature can be used to inhibit feature upgrades. Running for a couple of hours now without problems... Always when you ask for help, the device shows normal behavior... I'll keep you informed, if and when the webGUI is not available again.

zpool upgrade, and still Some supported and requested features are not enabled on the pool.
Hi, my new build with 6.12.11 gives my pool drives the following message: Some supported and requested features are not enabled on the pool. The pool can still be used, but some features are unavailable. action: Enable all features using 'zpool upgrade'. Once this is done, the pool may no longer be accessible by software that does not support the features. See zpool-features(7) for details. If I do zpool upgrade in the terminal, it does not change anything. I still keep getting the notification for all drives in the pool. How to solve? Thanks.

New build constant internal server error 500 and other network related issues
Yes, I agree, but the server has a backplane, and I moved it to another slot, and it still shows errors. I don't think it is the backplane or the cables. The backplane has 4 cables going to the HBA, the drive is really on a part of the backplane with another cable.

New build constant internal server error 500 and other network related issues
Hi JorgeB, I'll make a video, and post it as soon as the issue occurs. The machine is running fine at this moment. It's copying files from my main UnRAID to the server that we are talking about. FYI: The server that we are talking about exist of old HDD's which I already needed to remove 2 x4TB because of errors. Now I see another drive is giving errors. This is not related to the webUI issue, but just informative. Copying happens through Krusader. SMB share from Unraid MAIN to 'Backuppie' makes the connection, and I reach out to that share through Krusader and this is how I copy the files for backup.

New build constant internal server error 500 and other network related issues
Not rebooting, but it was doing something in the background where it was recovering the webUI, and every time the webUI came back, the disks were again mounting and starting services. It looked like a loop.

New build constant internal server error 500 and other network related issues
It indeed might not be the right logs. Added 2 logs that the server made without my manual command. Here the server was constantly restarting the GUI and mounting the disks. I switched off the watchdog function in the BIOS and then it was already much better. backuppie-diagnostics-20240730-1548.zip backuppie-diagnostics-20240730-1521.zip

New build constant internal server error 500 and other network related issues
Hi, I have a new UnRAID build with the current version, booting in UEFI on a Supermicro X9SCM-F with 16G RAM, using the onboard NICs and an LSI HBA The case is also Supermicro. The problem is that the GUI starts throwing internal server error 500's. I can only see the GUI again after reboot through shell. The machine is a backup UnRAID server from my main UnRAID server, and through SMB via unassigned devices they are connected and with Krusader I copy files to the backupserver. This also often throws errors. Cannot copy the file. I have added the logs, maybe you can help me troubleshooting. I appreciate the help. backuppie-diagnostics-20240730-1901.zip

Machine freezes all the time, GUI not responsive, best to reboot
At this moment the machine is running perfectly fine, since the afternoon that I posted this ticket. I will post my syslog if the machine is misbehaving again. Thanks.

Machine freezes all the time, GUI not responsive, best to reboot
The problem is that the machine does not 'crash'. It just freezes and becomes unresponsive. Sometimes I need to restart the machine to be able to do anything on it again.

Machine freezes all the time, GUI not responsive, best to reboot
Hi all, I added my diagnostics, and I hope you want to help me find out why my machine freezes all the time. Now again, the GUI is unresponsive, and I cannot stop my dockers, my USB drive does not show. The machine does look like it cannot do more than one thing at a time, while it is a dual CPU, 192GB mem Dell R720 beast. Thanks for the help. unraid-diagnostics-20240521-0916.zip

Transcode/working to memory Plex, Emby & Tdarr
UnRAID 6.12.10 Hi all, I read so many different stories, I am confused. I have Plex, Emby and Tdarr, on my /tmp folder with transcoding. This lately gave my server the issue that the webGUI was not working correctly. Settings where not saved, GUI stayed white, needed reboots, and stuff like that. The next settings was Plex, Emby and Tdarr, working in /dev/shm/ which also seems NOT the be the best solution, since all the kernel and modules are running there. Since a short while I am using a GPU for hardware transcoding. What do you guys suggest what to do with the transcoding settings? Still use something like tmp or dev/shm, or remove this setting completely from Plex, Emby and Tdarr? Long story short: best practices for RAM settings for Plex, Emby and Tdarr. Thanks.

[SUPPORT] RIFFSPHERE'S TEMPLATES
I have Spotweb working with MariaDB. What I do not understand, no matter the retention settings, it will not download older spots. The oldest one, after a fresh run, is 12 hours old. My retention is on 0. Eweka has 5746+ days retention, but Spotweb just does not download more. Any suggestions?
