  1. Setup is an unraid server with 3 vms (one homeassistant 2 windows), two gpu's, one 4 controller usb card with controllers passed through to each VM. In the past I've been able to use my capture card, audio interface, and webcam to stream to twitch using OBS Studio with no issues. Now it seems randomly I get full system crashes when OBS is open and I have the peripherals active. Sometimes it happens quickly and sometimes it takes hours. I finally got a remote syslog setup and it gave me the following at the time of the crash:

Oct 15 09:45:37 Tower kernel: pcieport 0000:00:1b.4: AER: Multiple Corrected error received: 0000:00:1b.4
Oct 15 09:45:38 Tower kernel: sched: RT throttling activated

I've considered updating bios, but I was concerned because one of the releases says it will disable downgrading due to vulnerabilities concerns, and I don't see anything in the notes about error corrections.

  2. FYI as of the latest version of this you can enable mobile client push notifications (basically live sync to your phone)

    https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/wiki/Enabling-Mobile-Client-push-notification.

Add the variables to the docker template mentioned above, and restart the container. After that, re-install your phone app. Kind of a pain but well worth it to not have to sync manually any more.

  3. I tried to install NerdPack for mcelog, but I couldn't find it on community applications.

The server is new to me - but an old one I got on FB marketplace. When I first had it running I swapped out the fans for noctua so I could hear myself think, but the fans kept shutting themselves off after a few days causing a plethora of overheating issues, so I wouldn't be surprised if I cooked something. I think I've resolved the fans shutting off, but now this just popped up and parity check started itself at the same time.

  4. After update today:

I tried to reinstall CA, no luck, I don't think its a browser issue, since I'm running a separate install of 6.11.4 and it's working fine.

  5. I found that I have issue with trying to put just '9' in the version number. Doing so gives me the following:

Restarting with 9.255 works, however, so I'll just do that.

Leaving version number blank also gives an issue:

Edit: local IP login works fine, just the external domain that doesn't. Weird since it was working fine before hand, but I'm using Nginx proxy manager if that matters.

Edit Edit: 2 days later I tried the external domain again and now it's working fine, so I wonder if it had to do with browser cache, though I'm pretty sure I cleared it while I was trying to troubleshoot. 🤷‍♂️

  7. I'll try updating once the stable comes out, hopefully that fixes the problem.

I've isolated the problem specifically to browser sources in obs 27.2 and 27.2.1. I have tried multiple different browser source audio providers including stream elements and streamlabs. Monitor and output is selected and I've always ran obs as admin.

Thanks for trying to troubleshoot obs with me but I've already done that on obs discord and they told me to submit a bug report, then the devolpers told me obs isn't supported on VM's.

Edit: Workaround: Uncheck "control audio via OBS" in the browser source settings. The audio will now output to your default windows audio out. Head to windows app volume and device preferences and change obs-browser-page audio out to go to some device and add that device as an audio input into obs.

  8. Really enjoying this over Heimdall, my only issue is I'd like to change the background of the cards to something else and I'm not quite sure how to do that. I mapped a new path to /usr/share/nginx/html/logos from /appdata/hiccup/logos and tried putting images in there but they didn't load.

Did this ever get resolved? I am having the exact same issue and do not know how to fix it.

I was able to solve it temporarily by switching the container network to host. I just changed it back to proxynet to test if it was still an issue and it seems to be working at first glance. I've changed a ton of things since then so I'm not sure what the issue was.

  10. I've got 23 days of uptime, I've been in and out of the web gui multiple times throughout and suddenly this is going on. My docker apps are still working, but docker service is disabled? My pool shares also seem to be having issues but I can still connect to them? Pool is missing from the main page. It also says VM's disabled but I'm posting this from my VM.

Edit: Clicking around I also just got a fatal flash drive error. I assume this is going to be a shutdown; swap out the flash; reboot kind of thing.

  11. So I went to stream some pokemon using my USB capture card. Usb controllers are split out to each VM. Shortly after plugging in the capture card, VM crashes. Tried again, same thing. Swapped capture card to the other VM. Am now using software to send capture from one VM to the other and then to Twitch. An hour into the stream, the whole system freezes up simultaneously. Both VM's are frozen. I go to check my phone and cloudflare says my proxied docker apps are unavailable. I punch in my static IP and it says it's unavailable. I try http://tower/ and it's unavailable. So I hold the power button and reboot. Trying to figure out the cause before I retry streaming again.

Edit: I should add, the first VM crash was a system freeze with CPU's pegged at 100%, the second one was a windows BSOD.
