You dont install any drivers for VM passtrough, I run it Right now with win11 even with an Igpu VF for testing with lossles scaling (it sucks). I run it headless with Apollo//Sunshine as a streaming VM and it just runs Fine Like Doom 4 80ish fps and Resident evil 8 at 50ish fps 1440p Unraid 7.2 14600k MSI z670

I want to use Proxmox as VM but Proxmox cant find iommu enabled, i own an Intel B50 and want to use its sriov until Unraid can do it. The devices are on their own groups inside Proxmox sooo is it a cosmetic error or what? Does anybody know ? Right now the b50 sriov capability is Not not detected but it could be an Loser Firmware Update on the Card I did an Update inside an ein 11 VM but it was Late and you know I would try To Flash on something bare Metal again later. i dont have the arc 770 anymore it was horrible to use with AI and bought 2* 3090 as replacement. i searched for „Arc770 stable Diffusion docker“ and Spun up that Image with Portainer. *edit* found it nuullll/ipex-arc-sd:latest *edit* i had alot of issues with Plugins and Sorts inside the docker.

Can you try a smaller cable? That can rule the Long one out. i have a lot of Bad Long Cables and can only Tell you for 100% to buy AOC active cables.

i dont have the ARC GPU anymore, it did work but maybe just "ok" with any AI use case out there, but here is my Template for docker and i used this repo i now use my RTX a4500 for that. nuullll/ipex-arc-sd:latest

epyc has no IGPU that transcodes well, epyc is an powerhog, i have an 8core Epyc and it juggs 50watt on idle, you will need an extra GPU for your Media needs, possibly two. If you dont need the pcie lanes, avoid epyc. my NAS/Backup/Plex/console Emulator Streaming Server/ Game dedicated Server is my Intel 13700k Unraid Server in my Signature. any 12/13/14th gen will do that much better

As today there is no Truenas VM necessary, Unraid does it all with Plugins, if you want truenas go baremetal with it.
