i have a strange problem with jellyfin. Im using an amd ryzen 4650g and configured the hardware acceleration but i'm getting strange colorful flickering on all my media. i found out that the flickering disappears when i disable hardware encoding in settings. Any idea why that happens?

Did you get some game to run on your VM? Can you please tell how you got it to work? Headless would be fine for me

well, i kinda gave up on getting it running in my VM. All the things i tried ended up in failure so i will just wait until someone who has more knowledge about it gets it done.

No i don't get any output only when connecting via teamviewer. The Error code i get is Error 43...

As i have the same problem as you guys with Win 10 VM and 4650G igpu passthrough i thought i'll share my results with the provided vbios.

I am able to get my vm to run and i can also install the amd radeon drivers for it but it does not matter if i attach the vbios or not. When i check in device manager the gpu is listed but says that it encountered errors and is not running.

I don't know how to resolve that error

With ACS patch set to both i am able to start the vm with the igpu selected. I was also able to install the radeon drivers but even after that when i check the device manager it shows that errors occured on the device....

 

Is there no one who got an amd igpu working in a Win10 VM and is able to help?!

Hey all,

 

I could really need some help in getting the iGPU of my new AMD Ryzen 4650G to run in my Win10 VM. I want to play some simple games on it.

I'm on Unraid 6.9 RC 2. I can select the igpu in VM settings but i always get this error:

 

Execution error

internal error: qemu unexpectedly closed the monitor: 2021-02-28T19:06:05.376304Z qemu-system-x86_64: -device vfio-pci,host=0000:08:00.0,id=hostdev0,bus=pci.5,addr=0x0: vfio 0000:08:00.0: group 4 is not viable Please ensure all devices within the iommu_group are bound to their vfio bus driver.

 

When i check the iommu it says that the group is already in use by unraid...

 

I hope someone can help me with this as i only got that cpu so i don't need a dedicated gpu...

Is it possible to passthrough the igpu to a windows vm, so that i can run simple games on it?

There is currently a bug in the game that can destroy your savegame that's why I implemented the Backup function to the container.

EDIT: Also please note this is a game in pretty early alpha state and such things are likely to happen.

Hello!

The valheim server was running fine yesterday and today the docker was updated. Now the server isn't shown in the server browser anymore and i can't connect via ip-adress and port. Restarting didn't help either. Did something change with the docker update?
