  1. Hello, Same issue. My devices : Intel I3-8100 (CPU + IGPU for transcoding) + MSI GT730 (for VM display) IOMMU group 0:[8086:3e1f] 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 8th Gen Core 4-core Desktop Processor Host Bridge/DRAM Registers [Coffee Lake S] (rev 08) IOMMU group 1:[8086:1901] 00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 6th-10th Gen Core Processor PCIe Controller (x16) (rev 08) IOMMU group 2:[8086:3e91] 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation CoffeeLake-S GT2 [UHD Graphics 630] IOMMU group 14:[10de:1287] 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK208B [GeForce GT 730] (rev a1) IOMMU group 15:[10de:0e0f] 01:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation GK208 HDMI/DP Audio Controller (rev a1) Everything works with VNC but Black screen with GT730 passthrough like many other users... VM Specs : Q35.1 and OVMF It worked with Unraid 6.8 but not with 6.9.1 version. Has someone found a solution? Thanks guys
  2. Since you tell me the iGPU can transcode, Nvidia driver is has no utility. My graphic card is recognized by Unraid (device) si I will create my VM without nvidia drivers. It should work! 🙂
  3. @ich777 I confirm, with gpu intel top plugin, issue fixed (nvidia driver uninstalled). Thanks you're a genius.
  4. It works! Thanks a lot @ich777 I'll wait patch/OSupdate for the localGUI issue. You're very helpfull
  5. I did it (bind the GPU) but i lose localGUI again. Should I retry the command line? I choose to add a dedicated P2200 because of the intense CPU load during in transcode task. Plex could have 8 users at the same time. Maybe I'm wrong. 🙂
  6. @ich777 You're right in bios main output is igfx. Bios launch, OS Key boot are on Igfx output until blank screen local Gui is on nvidia card (user + password and local interface) Here is my hardware config (+msi GT730 graphic card)
  7. great thanks @ich777 i recover local GUI with command lines modprobe i915 and /etc/rc.d/rc.4 It works!! like other users, But now, local GUI display is on my nvidia card (curiously). I didn't think to uninstall nvidia driver plugin... Is there a trick to move the local gui to the igfx ? Thanks for the progress
  8. Thanks ICH777 Here are my answers Both displays (Nvidia card and iGPU) are connected. First graphic device is IGFX Yes I rebooted How can I clean the syslinux.cfg? I boot with UEFI I install Nvidia drivers because I'll install soon a PNY Quadro P2200 for transcode The GT730 is only used for the VM display. Thanks ICH777
  9. unlucky, Not for me (6.9.1 updated - nvidia updated - nerd pack and many plugins uninstalled) gpu gt730 (for vm which i uninstalled too) and i3-8100 CPU diagnostics-20210310-1825.zip

I post diagnostic and Update assistant report if that could help to recover le GUI Mode (webGUI mode works fine from a distant computer) Here is the Update assistant report : Current unRaid Version: 6.9.0 Upgrade unRaid Version: 6.9.0 NOTE: You are currently running the latest version of unRaid. Checking for plugin updates / OK: All plugins up to date Checking for plugin compatibility / OK: All plugins are compatible Checking for extra parameters on emhttp / OK: emhttp command in /boot/config/go contains no extra parameters Checking for disabled disks / OK: No disks are disabled Checking installed RAM / OK: You have 4+ Gig of memory Checking flash drive / OK: Flash drive is read/write Checking for valid NETBIOS name / OK: NETBIOS server name is compliant. 11.

  13. it seems that the unraid nvidia caused issue (source : os update assistant). after uninstall it, the update assistant conclude "No issues were found with your server that may hinder the OS upgrade. You should be good to go"
  14. It works but I lose my SSD cache drive. It appears now in unassigned device. Maybe one of the bug origin. I will restore my cache drive and reboot 2 times to be sure the everything works again. No OS update for me now! Thanks a lot Jobine.
  15. sorry it's the first time I have to do this. Where must I copy the "previous" files in the flash drive to recover the 6.8.3 system? Thanks Jobine
  16. No boot for the 2nd reboot after update... If return to 6.8.3 is not possible (no backup), is it possible to recover the system (pro version)? Desperate user
