I live in Clearwater, FL and would love to get one of these. Due to my declining health, my needs/wants have changed Glad you scored one though cause that is an awesome deal!!!

Here are a few:
-
QEMU 4.1 was downgraded to 4.0.1 in unRaid 6.8-RC5 so you may have to use them now.
-
From your screenshot, click edit. Now at the upper right you have the option to change to XML view and can edit from there.
-
Can you make a bug report of your findings? This will probably get missed by @limetech as it isn't in the right forum. Thanks for posting this though.

I recently did an upgrade and went with a Intel dual CPU solution and am very happy with it. My build is detailed in this thread here
The 8 core CPUs I went with were 290 each and the 10 core chips I wanted we're 500 each and I bought used ones. I think you'd be able to get 12 or 14 core chips for about 5 or 6 hundred each but at a lower clock speed like 2.5 to 2.8. My chips run at 3.2. My motherboard is awesome but it doesn't have IPMI. IOMMU grouping is fine and the onboard LSI HBA flashed to IT easily. Let me know if you have questions and I'll help where I can. Oh, I run 4 GPUs in it now.

Why not use RDP? If you want to post this as a feature request, repost it in the feature request sub form as it will get better results there.

1. What do I need to do to accomplish this? What's the best 2019 guides?
Here is part 1 of a 2 part video tutorial:

Yes but you can't use the VM's that are using the same GPU at the same time. -
That's odd. If it boots then i guess leave it.
-
I just bought this board. For 4 sticks of memory, use the outer most memory (the onest farthest away from the cpu) slots next to each cpu.
-
Are you running the trial version? Only the trial version requires an internet connection. Purchased versions do not.

If they are unraid VMs. How would I go about getting the image files so I could set those up on my unraid as well?

under Settings -> Management Access in unRAID, there is a top level domain property that can be set to local so that unRAID will respond to name.local from any PC or OS.
-
You can't do both. It's either VNC or GPU passthrough.
-
Thanks for the help Andrew. I'll give this a try.
-
I believe you can manually type in your own path to whatever source you want. Give it a try and let us know.

I would just create new VM's and assign the current vdisk to them.
I just did a huge upgrade last week myself and all but 2 VM's ran ok. I used this solution too and had them both back up and running in under 5 minutes.

Thanls and dont get me wrong i am not bitching just trying out all the buttons ?;-{
I'm having this same problem.
I detect and load the drivers. Then scan and select the temps and fan speed readings. Hit apply and done. after leaving the page, nothing shows up in the dashboard. I go back to check the settings and everything is blank and i cannot detect or load drivers or sensors as they are all blank.

the GT 710, 730, and 1030 are all low priced cards and work well. They are about as cheap as you can get and you can get them in PCIE 1x connections and single slot designs.

Im having the same problem as some others on this forum. I have a Supermicro X10DAL-i with dual Xeon E5-2678s and when I say detect drivers, it says "coretemp nct7904", but there are no sensors in the list. I think I remember seeing them right before I saved which sensor was which, but the lists have been blank ever since.
I am new to UnRAID, but will do my best to send any diagnostic info you want. Ive tried reinstalling the plugin, but no difference.
If not this plugin, is there any other way to see CPU temps in unraid? It concerns me greatly that I have no idea how hot they are. I havn't wanted to stress them without knowing.
I'm having this same problem. Just happened 20 minutes ago or so.

As it turns out, I didn't have to bind anything. My VM's just take control of the GPU's when they are started and returns then back to unRaid when they are shutdown. Smooth upgrade.
-
Thanks. It's gonna be a fun ride as I upgraded to server class components as shown in my signature.
-
I'm installing a new motherboard today that does not have an onboard GPU. It's a Supermicro X10DAC. Do i need to hide all of my GPU's so I can run a headless system and use all of my GPU's for VM's using the new vfio-bind method in unRaid 6.7.0?
example:
BIND=<device> <device>
Where <device> is a Domain:Bus:Device.Function string, for example,
BIND=01:00.0 02:00.0
save as /config/vfio-pci.cfgThanks in advance!

Shutting down the array has always shutdown the VM's and most other services. Wish it didn't work this way but it does.
noVNC and PCI Passthru at the Same Time ?
in VM Engine (KVM)

Sorry, no. It's one or the other.
