  1. I installed Community Applications plugin yesterday and tried to install a few docker containers. After clicking the install button to install a docker container, the page was blank. I tried a few other times with the same result and nothing installed. I tried uninstalling CA, reinstalling CA, rebooting the server and always had the same result. This shows up in my syslog when trying to install a docker container: Apr 10 19:23:22 FileSvr root: error: /Apps/AddContainer?xmlTemplate=default:/tmp/community.applications/tempFiles/templates-community-apps/linuxserversRepository/duckdns.xml: missing csrf_token CA installs plugins fine as I tried that with the FCP plugin and ran that to see if I had any errors. Nothing was found except a few minor warnings. I made sure that no other windows or apps were connected to unRAID as I know that can cause problems with csrf tokens. Also, I tried with 3 different browsers, Firefox, Edge, and Chrome. Note: I originally thought this was a CA problem so I posted there first but dlandon had replied that this could be an 6.5.1-RC5 problem so I posted here as well. Anyways, here are my diags. Thanks for the help. filesvr-diagnostics-20180411-0512.zip
  2. Figured it was a CA problem. Thanks, I'll post there then.
  3. Well, no luck there. Thanks anyways.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. I use Windows Defender. No other virus protection or adblockers. I can try disabling it to see if that is the cause.

  6. No. I figure the vdisk image was corrupt or something. Been stable with the back though. I always backup my vdisk images just in case.
  7. I had this happen with one of my VM's recently. I had a backup of the vdisk so I was able to copy it over and boot up ok. Other than that, I had no luck getting through the Windows repair cycle. You might just have to start from scratch unless someone else has a solution.
  8. Rather than using a KVM to share your mouse and keyboard between VM's, I use a software solution called Synergy. This allows me to use my mouse and keyboard on my main PC and share it with multiple VM's or other PC's and tablets. I think it supports hot key switching as well but I haven't bothered trying it. Another benefit of using Synergy is that it supports copy and paste between the different server and client OS's. GPU's cannot be shared between VM's if they are running at the same time. However, you can use the same GPU for multiple VM's as long as they aren't running simultaneously. IGPU passthrough is supported but it is not as mature as GPU passthrough and there is some mixed success with it depending on your hardware. I've never tried IGPU passthrough as I have multiple GPU's in my system for several VM's (See my sig for my server specs). I do run 3 VM's simultaneously though each having their own GPU and this works very well and is very stable. I also use a cheap HDMI switch that I got from Monoprice.com so that I can cycle between VM's using the same monitors that I use for my main PC.
  9. Did you passthrough a GPU to the linux VM or are you using VNC? If you did GPU passthrough, you can try updating the video card drivers and see if that helps. I don't have much experience with linux either but just thought I'd offer a suggestion.
  10. You can increase the vdisk size manually in the mean time by using the instructions in this post by @johnnie.black (Thanks Johnnie!) in the terminal. I had to increase mine last week.
  11. It was just a function that didn't work as intended and I wanted to report it so you guys were aware of it. In all honesty though, I don't see the need to keep the VIRTIO CD iso or the OS install iso mounted as once this part of the installation process is done, it is no longer of any use. If you guys remove the detach function, I can still edit the XML file manually.
  12. Well, you can't switch from OVMF to Seabios as the VM won't be able to boot off the vdisk. I would try creating an identical (new) VM and let the setup start, then cancel it and force close the VM. Then use your original vdisk image by either copying it to the new VM folder or change the XML to point to the original (old) vdisk.
  13. This is a bug that has been fixed in unRaid 6.5.1-RC2. I tried it just a few days ago.
  14. Try this here to change your boot device in the UEFI virtual bios:
  15. For whatever reason, the UEFI virtual bios can't find your boot device. See this post here:
  16. I can't help with dumping and using a vbios for a graphics card as I have never had to do this. I have 3 GPU's plus the onboard GPU which unRaid uses. However, you can just create a new VM and try to get that one starting up properly and then use your old vdisk either by moving it to your new folder for the VM or by changing the path in the XML to point to it. I have never tried passing through the Intel GPU and sound either so I am no help there. It seemed like it was to new and experimental to go through the hassle. My MB is very similar to yours. Are you using legacy bios or EFI? Legacy bios has been working just fine for me so I don't have any reason to change it.
  17. Thanks for posting this fix. I just created Ubuntu and Linux Mint VM's yesterday and your fix solved my audio problems in both VM's.
  18. I can confirm that this is resolved in 6.5.1-RC2
  19. Just upgraded to RC2 this morning and tried to detach an ISO from several VMs and it did not work. Tried to detach a vdisk also and that did not work either. No error was shown, just didn't happen. filesvr-diagnostics-20180324-0710.zip
  20. You can mount the updated .iso file and then go into Windows 10 and update your drivers there. You'll find them in device manager. 1 is under disk devices, 1 under network adapters, and 2 under system devices. You should also run the updated guest agent.
  21. Upgraded from 6.5.0 stable with no problems. I can confirm that this issue has been fixed: Thank you guys!
  22. Upgraded from 6.5.0-RC6. Everything works well. @bonienl One minor thing I noticed is that on the VMs page, when hovering over the CPUs, the checked CPUs is not accurate in the popup (the ones assigned to the VM). I thought this might be due to having a custom sort order set so i tried deleting config\plugins\dynamix.vm.manager\userprefs.cfg and checked it again but it is still wrong. Diagnostics attached. Thanks to all for your hard work! filesvr-diagnostics-20180320-1207.zip
  23. Did you try your VM using SeaBios? I seriously doubt that card would work with your VM bios set to OVMF.
  24. Thanks for updating this. I installed it yesterday and it works great.
  25. Have you tried doing multimonitor with the 750? Could rule out a problem with the 1050 card. I have a 750ti and have done gpu passthrough with mutimonitor support. It works perfectly. VM bios was done with both Seabios and OVMF. They both worked fine. Currently, I have a Windows 10 VM using OVMF and Q35 with the 750ti passed through running 2 monitors on DP and HDMI.
