  1. I have weird issue where any package from /boot/packages marked with the *.auto_install do nor re-install on reboot. I've even attempted this solution here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=27756.0 I have the following line in my go script: Cd /boot/packages && find . -name '*.auto_install' -type f -print | sort | xargs -n1 sh -c All I want to install is the following: monthly_parity_check.auto_install* powerdown-1.02-noarch-unRAID.tgz.auto_install* screen-4.0.3-i486-1.tgz.auto_install* unmenu.auto_install*
  2. It seems to be fine now. Since I did all that the sql db is no longer being corrupted and the server is downloading things again.
  3. I will if it happens again. I tried something on for size, I ran the permissions script, shutdown the server, pulled the flash drive, formatted it, installed Unraid 5.0.2, and removed some old entries from the GO script. Now I rebooted, and SabNzbd started downloading again. Right now I'm repairing the mysql db. I'm going to try Man of Tai Chi again.
  4. A couple nights ago I was scanning the contents of my Movie folder into my sql database, this was on a Windows 8 PC running XBMC 12.2. The application crashed while this was going on. XBMC on win 8 and 7 crashes constantly. So I put OpenElec on the HTPC. When I booted I was not able to access the contents of the db, sources and advancedsettings were a direct copy from my Rpi. Did a little digging and I found that my database was corrupted, i ran mysqlcheck and fixed the database everything started showing up again on Openelec I watched an episode of TV, and at the end of the episode Openelec rebooted, and kept going through a reboot cycle, same with the Rpi. Tried running mysqlcheck again but I got the following errors. Error : Table 'directorlinktvshow' is read only status : Operation failed MyVideos76.episode Error : Table 'episode' is read only status : Operation failed MyVideos76.files Error : Table 'files' is read only status : Operation failed MyVideos76.genre Error : Table 'genre' is read only status : Operation failed So I brought down the array and rebooted Unraid server, once it booted I was able to run mysqlcheck again. Left it overnight. Today I tried watching Man of Tai Chi, started on my Rpi it played for 5 min, but then I stopped it because I wanted to continue watching in the living room. Once I stopped the playback the Rpi started going through the reboot cycle again. Tried running mysqlcheck again and got the same permission error as before. The db is on /mnt/system which is a user mounted disk dedicated to all my program installations. Another weird thing is my SabNzbd is giving me a permission error on my cache drive all of a sudden. I checked the permissions on the cache drive and system drive the all look ok. Also my subsonic which is on my system drive started giving me permission errors about it not having permissions to the install location. Any ideas?
  5. I will upgrade to v15 final first, I see that there are some emhttp fixes in the last couple versions.
  6. Sep 22 18:34:03 Tower kernel: emhttp[28115]: segfault at 0 ip b7512760 sp bfc3b600 error 4 in libc-2.11.1.so[b7499000+15c000] Can someone tell me what this error is? I know that it prevents the main unraid menu from loading, however I would like to understand the cause of this.

  8. Yes, I have a cache drive. My buddy had the same issue where his simple features web interface would crash, he since reverted back to stock interface. I have since resolved my issue. It appears that as soon as I disable my simple features web server plug in, it stops crashing the interface. Also I now don't have as many applications running that are installed via unMenu. Not sure if you're running the web server, or if you need it, but may I suggest for testing purposes you try and disable it. I was running for 19 days without a crash, then the power went out in my apt.
  9. does the file system need to be reiserfs for the swap file, or can I use ext?
  10. The main Unraid interface just died on me again. Why is there no swap, can I enable that, would that give me some more headroom? I'm going to try this: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=25816.0
  11. This is the memory usage when the web interface is fine. Now I have to wait when it fails.
  12. I'm going to run the command tonight and compare it to when the web interface fails.
  13. I have my flash drive which is mounted to /boot , I have a 500GB Drive mounted to /mnt/cache which is my cache drive, and I have a 500GB drive mounted to /mnt/system, this is my system drive. The flash drive has all my PLG and plugins respectively. My system drive holds all my installations, so for instance once the plugin is installed in Unraid, let's say CouchPotato, the plugin points to the system drive for the installation and data directories. The cache drive holds my media until it gets moved to my array at 4am every morning to minimize writes to it. Since this post I haven't seen any movies disappear on my server. Also the issue was with a faulty sata cable I think.
  14. So if it's running out of memory would increasing the RAM help, or is this something that the kernel has trouble managing when you get past a certain amount of plugins? I'm currently running with 4GB RAM with a lot of plugins.
  15. Can someone assist me in compiling idle3-tools on Unraid. I know I'm supposed to be using the make command but when I type it in it states "command not found". I forgot about installing GCC from Unmenu
  16. Yes I set it up myself from scratch. Good to know I just upgraded to 15 yesterday. We will see what happens.
  17. You mean stock as in stock emhttp? yes it does. I upgraded to simple features in the last day in the hopes it will not cause said problem anymore.
  18. Oh I see, well then I guess Simplefeatures won't cut it then. Link to syslog: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B9Qkm4TTd718akpsTnZIZ1JZVms&usp=sharing
  19. I'm getting "bad download" when I try and install the preclear package.
  20. Meh, I replaced it with SimpleFeatures plugin and it is working again. How do I mark this topic solved, etc? Simply use the Modfiy button on the first post and use [solved] in front of the topic's name.
