  1. Here's the Pic of the card. It didn't attach on my last message Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
  2. I never got them to work with the built in motherboard slots. I ended up buying a Supermicro pcie addon nvme card. I still have zero ideas on why it didn't work. If you have any luck please let me know! Thanks. I posted a pic of the card I used that worked. Sent from my SM-G988U using Tapatalk
  3. Is there anyone that could direct me to someone that might be able to help me? Im at a loss here.... Thanks
  4. I Cant locate anything specific to the NVME drives in the BIOS settings. I spent probably half an hour looking through each setting and didn't locate anything about them. I'm really at a loss of what to do? Any ideas would be appreciated...
  5. I cannot seem to get my 2 NVME drives to show up in unraid. Ive read the forum and googled with no successful answer. Im using a Supermicro Server with an X10DSC+ MB. This board has 4 built in NVME ports of which Im using 2. Ive connected my 2 NVME drives via oculink cables to a 2 drive rear backplane. These drives appear in my Server's IPMI, but not unraid. Ive attached my diagnostics. any help is appreciated. Thanks! Unraid Diagnostic logs 7-15-22.zip
  6. got it fixed. shut the server down and changed the disk cfg file on the flash drive. booted up normal afterwards
  7. I added a name/description to one of my array disks and when I hit save my web GUI went crazy telling me that my array isnt mounted (it is) and that there is an error in state/disks.ini. It made every link unclickable throughout the entire GUI except those few by the "Terminal" option. How can i remove the characters i added via the CLI/terminal? That has to be the problem. This happened immediately after I saved. I guess i put some sort of illegal character in that caused this. I just want to remove it and go on.... I cant to anything, yet all of my dockers and CLI interface work normally. Thanks! I attached a screenshot of the array page.
  8. I'm in the same boat but I have a powerege r720. Been getting a kernel panic at least once a day for the past 2 or 3 weeks. Memtest clean, syslog shows nothing. I've tried every trick I've found in this forum and others... I have no idea what to do next except downgrade. It's getting terribly frustrating.

  10. I couldn't find an answer specific to my question with search. So I have 2.5" version of the R720. It only has 1 - 8 bay drive cage that Is full. I don't want to spend a ton on an additional cage and backplane. So would it work if I just bought a sas to sas cable or sas to sata forward breakout cable (depending on which drives I want to use) and place the drives in the empty spot where the cage would be? There's no need for me to have access to remove them from the front and it's a lot cheaper to just buy the cable. I'm just unsure if this would work. I can't find a reason it wouldn't. If anyone knows for sure your help would be appreciated. Here are links to the cables I'm referring to. One is (SAS TO SAS) & THE OTHER IS (SAS TO SATA FORWARD BREAKOUT)
