FolderView Plus 2026.09.17.03 includes a fix for the empty-JSON upload error. If the normal upload returns an empty response, the plugin now automatically tries its alternative upload method. Please update to the latest stable version, hard-refresh the Unraid webGUI, and try uploading the same image again. If it still fails, please share the new error message, the image’s file type and size, and a fresh sanitized support bundle.

The fixes are now available in FolderView Plus 2026.09.17.03: Added Edit folder defaults links for Docker and VMs, including defaults imported from FolderView3. Fixed hover previews on computers that also have a touchscreen. Fixed stopped-icon grayscale in Docker previews. Fixed mixed folder/container positions being lost after refresh. Fixed Dashboard cards staying narrow instead of filling the available widget width. Please update to the latest stable version and hard-refresh the Unraid webGUI. Editing defaults affects future folders; existing folders stay unchanged unless you explicitly apply the defaults to them. If anything still misbehaves, please share a fresh sanitized support bundle and a screenshot of the affected setting or layout.

@charettepa @Mettkrieger Let me check on both your issues you have posted. If i need more information ill ask for an exported support bundle for further troubleshooting. Its santized so you can post it here or DM me if you prefer to do that. Ill get back to you once I have an update or fix if its a bug.

The status text color issue on Unraid’s white theme has been fixed in FolderView Plus 2026.09.03.02. Status text now follows the active Unraid theme by default: Dark text on light themes Light text on dark themes Custom text colors are still supported in Folder Editor > Status Please update through the Unraid Plugins page, confirm you are running 2026.09.03.02, and hard-refresh the webGUI afterward (Ctrl+F5). If the text is still incorrect, open the affected folder in the Folder Editor and reset the Text color to “Theme default.”

This is a bug for the white theme, ill get this fixed.

FolderView Plus 2026.08.28.05 is now available!The biggest addition is Custom WebUI Profiles for Docker folders. This was caused by a release metadata mistake that changed the plugin’s registered Community Applications URL. It has been fixed in 2026.08.20.19. This has been fixed in Appdata Cleanup Plus 2026.08.20.16. Please update the plugin from the Unraid Plugins page and confirm that the installed version shows 2026.08.20.16. If the update is not detected, you can install the latest stable release directly: plugin install https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alexphillips-dev/FolderView-Plus/main/folderview.plus.plgThe obsolete requirement to type DELETE has been removed. Permanent deletion from quarantine now uses a confirmation checkbox. This release also fixes the underlying purge behavior: Purging now permanently deletes the exact item stored in quarantine. Purged items are no longer restored to their original appdata folder. Scheduled quarantine purges use the same corrected destructive-delete process. The quarantine registry is cleaned up after a successful purge, preventing deleted items from reappearing. Normal permanent-delete functionality remains unchanged and continues to work. Additional protections now reject path traversal, prevent deletion outside configured source locations, and refuse unsafe nested or bind-mounted paths. State updates and cleanup operations now use improved locking and atomic writes to prevent overlapping operations from losing data. Fresh installations default to the safer quarantine-first mode, while existing saved delete-mode settings are preserved. Diagnostic exports have been overhauled with additional troubleshooting information and stronger sanitization of paths, hostnames, URLs, credentials, tokens, and other private information. Plugin manifests, update URLs, package validation, CI, ShellCheck, and CodeQL coverage were also strengthened. Both manual and scheduled purge flows have been tested to confirm that the quarantined destination is actually deleted and the original appdata folder remains absent. After updating, please try purging the affected quarantine item again. If you still experience a problem, export a new diagnostics bundle from version 2026.08.20.16 and attach it to your reply so I can investigate further.

Thanks for the screenshots and support bundle. I’ve published a potential fix to the dev branch as version 2026.08.19.05. Your folder configuration appears to be intact. The problem seems to occur when Unraid identifies some Docker rows by short container IDs rather than container names. FolderView Plus then fails to associate those rows with folders created through the Add Folder wizard, causing the affected folder boxes to be treated as empty and hidden. Could you please test the dev version? Dev installation link: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alexphillips-dev/FolderView-Plus/dev/folderview.plus.plg In Unraid, go to Plugins, choose Install Plugin, paste the link above, and install it. Please confirm that version 2026.08.19.05 is installed, then hard-refresh the webGUI and reopen the Docker page. Based on your screenshots, the expected result is six populated folder boxes: Reverse Proxy, Cloud & Sync, Game Servers, Remote Access & Sync, Smart Home & Media, and Backup & Utilities. The 19 genuinely empty folders may remain hidden if Hide empty folders is enabled. Please let me know whether all six populated folders now appear. Also test navigating away from the Docker page and returning, followed by a normal page refresh. If the folders are still missing, please export and attach a new sanitized FolderView Plus support bundle while running 2026.08.19.05. This version includes additional privacy-safe grouping diagnostics that should show exactly where the remaining failure occurs.

@TheGreatMate I’ve released FolderView Plus 2026.08.18.08 with a fix for the fresh-install Docker page startup issue. Please test the following: Update FolderView Plus to version 2026.08.18.08 from the Unraid Plugins page. Confirm the installed version shows 2026.08.18.08. Hard-refresh the Unraid webGUI using Ctrl+F5. Open the Docker page and confirm your folders and containers load correctly. Refresh the Docker page once more, then navigate away and back to make sure it continues working. If the “Docker runtime failed” message still appears, please click “Download Startup Report” and also create a new support bundle from FolderView Plus Settings. Attach both files here so I can compare the new startup information with the original report.
