  1. just to close this out, after many many random crashes later. i replaced my motherboard with the same model and all issues are resolved. i determined that the chipset on the board was going bad. i now have both CPU's installed and all my 64GB of RAM and been up and running for 30 days with no issues. thank you for all the help with this issue.
  2. I didn't find those event logs but I restarted the server and now no errors.........so guess I'll wait for the error to come back and look in the bios again for any logs
  3. an update to my server crashing i have removed one of my CPU's and half my RAM. it hasn't crashed but I am getting memory errors filling my log file. attached is the log and diagnostics. i am just trying to figure out what could be causing it. i have tested all my different RAM and ran multiple Memory test with no errors. i also have tried two separate CPU's with both having the same error. any thoughts on this? i was wondering about the motherboard behemoth-diagnostics-20211227-1035.zip syslog-192.168.10.150.log
  4. thank you i just read that so im glad i didnt LOL i am letting it rebuild as we speak and just let it do its thing thank you so very much for the help today as always until next time i mess up
  5. im guessing i need to format and let it rebuild???
  6. when i started the array this time i got this
  7. in the end i ran a xfs repair which fixed the file system allowing it to be mounted. once mounted its empty but mounted. the parity drive is indeed the parity and i never rebuilt or ran parity check if i ran the check with write to parity box unchecked would that write the correct data to the empty drive?
  8. question? i got it to mount finally but data is gone. with the parity marked as intact does it still hold the parity correctly? how would i use that parity to re-create the data that was lost on the one drive?
  9. ok so i will try to figure out the mount commands for encrypted drives and see what i can find but im feeling like the data is there safe just need to get it to see it. i have hope that i can figure this out and not lose any data
  10. sounds like perhaps if i make the other drive mountable again then perhaps i might be able to recover it??
  11. when i run the command lsblk i can still see its encrypted correctly like the rest of my drives so i would guess the SDK1 would be my parity for its not encrypted
  12. i know it is one of the two drives but i have swapped them around as parity (with it selected its already valid) and both show as needing to format
  13. PLEASE help me!!! long story short i reinstalled unraid and i think i selected the wrong parity drive when recreating it. i think i selected a data drive. no formatting was done and i selected that the parity was already valid. i selected a new config and tried swapping it back to the proper drive but the other data drive is showing nothing and requesting to be formatted. is there anyway to get my data back?
  14. i ran two passes of memtest with no errors found, i have unraided my cache drive to see if i still get any issues with its IO.
  15. As requested behemoth-diagnostics-20211203-0907.zip
